This place is exceptional value for your money, with views from your room and the rooftop that that are truly stunning. I was surprised the rooftop wasn't crowded. The room was quiet and large with a very comfortable bed. Walls could use a little clean or painting but the floor-to-ceiling windows make up for that small flaw. The location is very convenient to access the subway or walk within lower Manhattan. They don't offer room service but they have a dedicated lobby area for delivery orders and the staff are so helpful. The staff's kindness and attention might be what sets this place apart. They pay attention to their guests and go above and beyond at every opportunity. I've already been back for another stay.

The location, the standard of the room and other facilities was perfect. The free tea and coffee room was a bonus! And the view from the rooftop bar was incredible. Definitely worth paying more for a room with a view!

We only had one bathrobe in our room which i think is standard but seems a bit odd if you've booked a double room. We asked reception and they gave us another straight away!

The location was great, our room was so lovely with the views as well as the staff at the hotel who really looked after me and my elderly mum - it was her first time in NY and she really enjoyed herself and the hotel was definitely a factor that contributed to that!

The fire doors for each room does slam so when our neighbours came back in the evening, it would wake us up briefly as their door was connected to the wall where our beds were against. However, this is true of most hotels I’ve stayed at so it can’t be helped and generally I thought the room was very well soundproofed.

Really friendly staff. Everyone was so nice!!! The hotel and our room was super clean. Nice sized room. Extremely comfortable bedding with tons of extra pillows. Great shower. Very quiet even though we were right next to the elevator and only on the seventh floor. Great location with tons of restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend and would absolutely stay there again.

The only breakfast option was delivery. Although the coffee and 2nd floor living room were nice. It was a total bummer that we couldn’t access the rooftop bar/restaurant or even check out the view because of a private party. One of the reasons I chose the hotel was for the view from the roof. Also, for some odd reason I couldn’t plug anything into the outlets in the bathroom.

The room was spacious, clean, with large windows and offered a stunning view of the city. The staff is also friendly and competent. We used valet parking and the car was fine when we pick it up. So you can trust them with your vehicle, I think.

The lighting in the room was dim and frustrating. It was too dark and I could not see where I had put things. I had to wait for daylight to find some of my belongings. Also, there is no desk in the room. So if you need to do some work, either go the second floor or choose a more business friendly hotel. The elevator was also dark and every time I got in, I had to ask someone to look closely, locate my floor and press the number for me. The lack of lighting drove me nuts!! Bring a flashlight with you before you check in.

This hotel is fantastic. The staff is so kind (gave us a free upgrade), it's in an amazing location, clean, nice bathrooms, and the square footage for a Manhattan hotel room is outstanding. You won't find rooms much larger than this in the city. As a former NYC resident, I was truly impressed with what they offered, delicious breakfast included, beautiful clean rooms in a really cool atmosphere. The rooftop bar is such a vibe, stunning view, really fun. The terrace is perfect for breakfast or late night hangouts. The hotel even offers free Tai Chi sessions and walking tours on the weekends. Noise was never an issue. Big fan, 10/10.

No complaints. My mom thought the free coffee could be better, but they addressed this.

Room was clean & good size for four of us. Lounge area on 2nd floor was a great amenity. Nice to work remote as well as teenagers able to hang out. They liked the ping pong/corn hole outside. Good option to have a place to go, hang out and take a break. Coffee every morning. Comfortable stay, attentive staff, good location. View of the Manhattan bridge was nice. The view at the rooftop bar is awesome, made for great photos. I’d stay here again.

Booked accessible room and didn’t realize. No shower door. So water from the shower got all over the bathroom floor. We used lots of towel to keep floor dry.

I went to NYC in August for 10 days (17-27) for my Birthday. 50 Hotel Bowery was absolutely fantastic. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite and approachable. I had an issue with my credit card upon check in which the Hotel staff went out of their way to resolve and they were very very apologetic for the inconvenience. On my Birthday I was surprised with a bottle of red wine in my room which was a very thoughtful and kind gesture. In general the hotel is lovely throughout with a roof top bar The Crown which is great way to spend an evening after a full day of sight seeing and walking. The views are amazing. Brookly bridge is literally 20 mins walk from the Hotel to walk across to Brooklyn. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

I loved the Hotel and I loved NYC - there was nothing not to like :-)

The rooms were well-sized, especially given the NYC market. Check-in and check-out was easy. The meal options were limited, but the hotel has cleverly utilized its old restaurant space on 2 to give groups a place to dine using delivery services. The rooftop bar was a pleasant surprise. And the location is extremely convenient to Chinatown, Little Italy and to the nearby courthouses.

The hotel should consider making "grab 'n go" items available on the second floor, and should expand its coffee service offerings and availability.

We had an amazing view of the city. The beds were quite comfortable, not so squishy that we were rolling into the middle. the room overall was bright and clean. The curtains were nice and thick. We liked the common area on the second floor.

The complimentary beverage station on the second floor could have been better given the "destination fee" to cover such expenses. There are many cheaper hotels that offer 24/7 free beverages, with more choices such as hot cocoa. The water was not kept hot enough to brew tea. The coffee/tea service stopped at 4pm which is right around the time we would usually relax with some tea before dinner. Refilling water bottles was a challenge as there was a choice of warm water or ice that didn't go into a bottle. The water pressure in the shower was not adequate, but understandable given the challenges of plumbing in the city. An additional table to place luggage would be nice.
