From the first moment that we stepped into the hotel till the last moment that we checked out, we were treated like a family member by the ladies at the Reception always with a smiling face. The room (Deluxe Queen Room with Two Queen Beds City View) was spacious and clean as well as quiet with a spectacular view of the Colombus Park nearby and the tall buildings around. It was very nice to be able to open a little bit the two windows to get some fresh air, even though the air conditioner worked properly at all times. The location of the hotel is in Chinatown in Lower Manhattan, which I would recommend for its nice and safe neighborhood, and it is very close to many attractions, restaurants, street food, marketplace, and public transport (metro and buses) all within easy walking distance.

Excellent location and SO quiet! I opened the window and forgot I was in New York with the golden silence that greeted me. Comfortable bed and clean lovely room with plenty of towels, the staff at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful and were so welcoming on check-in. My new favourite place to stay in New York!

The temperature in the room fluctuated a bit but nothing popping open or closing a window didn't help

Room a little small, so not comfortable to relax in except on the bed. Guests should be aware that China town is a neighbourhood that some might not enjoy.

Well located, clean room, comfortable bed, free coffee in the morning, free water bottles, great sound isolation, attentive staff. They were able to keep our luggage before our check-in and offered an early check-in time from the standard one. As a NYC first-timer I was afraid to be a unsafe place but I had not problems, neither I felt unsafe during my stay.

We had a little incident with our room temperature once the heater was shared between two rooms and the other room set a very hot temperature in the thermostat. I had to open our window at night to normalize the temperature until the another room lowers the temperature.

Chinatown is a great location with a wide selection of restaurants and nice parks nearby. Little Italy is also not too far away!

We felt like we were walking into our own apartment when we got off the elevator. Very quiet, only two rooms on the 12th(?) floor. Bathrobes were a very nice touch ! The balcony was why I booked this room, it was wonderful; huge and not too high up. Great views of the surrounding buildings and park below. A good place to escape in the middle of the night for a breath of fresh air . Room was clean and had great hot water & pressure. Area very calm, residential, safe. Subway close by .

Had to move the coffee maker to use it , there was no electrical outlet where it was located. This room was too expensive for me to need to do that ! Carpet wasn’t awful, but it was just carpet…

This hotel was very lovely and very accommodating. I came into town very early but were willing to hold my luggage until the 3:00 pm check-in which was very nice. The receptionist at the front was very sweet and very professional, concise and direct with all the information you’d need. When I first get to my room, I immediately put my stuff down and do a walk through along with a wipe down of surfaces, (found a mini fridge which was a nice surprise and added bonus) to which everything was squeaky clean. I wipe everything down, including the bed frame and checked between the sheets and mattresses. I saw that everything was incredibly clean and fresh, which I loved. This was a lovely hotel to stay at and recommend this to everyone and anyone, regardless of length of stay. I was only here for one night but will definitely be returning again in the near future!!

I don’t have any dislikes of the property. When I first get to my room, I immediately put my stuff down and pull out my camera to do an initial walk through of the property so I can inspect for anything unusual. The place was incredibly clean which was fantastic! But I did notice a small hole in the skirt of the bedding but I believe it’s from others previously trying to get down from the bed and the fabric gets stuck and punctured but the mattress holder part of the bed frame.

Great hotel! Room was clean, spacious for a NYC room, and staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is right on the edge of Chinatown and Little Italy, so easily the best dining scene in the city. Fantastic dim sum around the corner at House of Joy, and plenty of nearby spots to grab a coffee and cannoli. Also close to the Mysterious Book Shop, the best bookstore in New York. I cannot wait to stay here again.
