Perfect location. Minutes from the V and A museum, where we now realize we could have spent a few more days! Nice breakfast choices. Beautifully remodeled building.

There are 2 Queens Gate Hotels on this street. Our driver mistakenly took us to the wrong location, Make sure you are going to 54 Queens Gate Hotel.

Very comfortable. A good room with every facility and amenity we expect from a nice hotel; very kind staff with hospitality; delicious breakfast; luggage kept before the check-in and after the check-out without any fuss; nice cup of coffee provided when collecting luggage in the afternoon. The room was very quiet and I slept sound. Pastries at breakfast were very tasty and a pot of tea was nice. And the location, South Kensington, is ideal as a base to explore London.

There is another ‘Queen’s Gate Hotel’. I passed by 54, reaching the other hotel and asking them to search for my name in their list. As the street name is ‘Queen’s Gate’, probably it cannot be helped, and ‘54’ is very, very important. When we receive emails, ‘54’ is very prominent and I remembered 54 very well but I thought it was just a part of the address (I should have wondered why 54 was so emphasized), but it is an important part of the name of this hotel.

For where we wanted to go the location of this property was perfect. The property was clean, beautifully presented & smelt….amazing! The staff were all so friendly & couldn’t do enough to help, even if that was getting ice for our water. The rooms were clean & tidy & all the amenities were provided. The bed was super comfy, which helped for a much needed nights sleep. Breakfast was continental & was £15pp & again was perfect for what we wanted - if you want a full English, there are plenty of places you can go around the hotel - don’t let that put you off staying! We will definitely be staying here again!

This isn’t a ‘dislike’ more an observation; a few more teabags, as they only provided one of each. To provide pillow protectors on the pillows - yes this sounds strange, but, I have a slightly ocd member of the party who checks her pillows (she’d bring her own if she could) the actual pillow was stained, which could be prevented by putting on pillow protectors. Other than that the bedding was clean & SUPER comfy!

Great staff, great location, quiet and clean room, great price. LOVED that you could control the temperature of the room as we are both very warm people and were initially worried that it was too warm but with adjusting it it was absolutely perfect. This was an amazing stay and we will tell friends about it and definitely use it again. Very comfy bed.

Could do with a few more tea bags and hot chocolate in the room- only 2 tea bags and they were a bit stale. Otherwise 10/10.

Beautifully furnished, perfect location for the Royal Albert Hall. Staff were all really friendly, breakfast was delicious. We feel very lucky to have found this hotel.

4th visit I wouldn’t come here if I didn’t like anything

Location was great close to Gloucester road Tube stop, restaurants, Kensington Park, etc. Room was clean and quiet with a comfortable bed. Bath towels were soft and shower great! Staff was courteous and helpful. Good breakfast in morning. Nice lobby space to have a glass of wine and relax.

Room was on small side with too much furniture and no place for clothes! While there was an armoire it was taken up with refrigerator, coffee maker and safe! The section to hang clothes in only had four hangers! As a result suitcases were left on chairs with clothes draped all over! Bathroom linens had only one face towel and no wash cloths! While ac was quiet it was hard controlling temperature.
