This was our second time in the hotel and we wanted to bring our family visitors from Spain. We loved the breakfast, the quality is outstanding and the views too. The bar space in general is so lovely for an evening drink etc and feels cozy. The room was comfortable, clean, and the bed is just incredible. Hairdryer is one of the most powerful of any hotels. The location is unparalleled for visiting the old town.

We arrived late to the hotel and had lost our luggage - we were given toothbrushes however unfortunately they were unable to provide us with combs nor other amenities. As we arrived late we missed the welcome champagne and were never offered it. The towels were quite starchy and used which isn´t how I remember our first stay so perhaps time for an upgrade of those basic things.

Fantastically central, modern & chic. All the mod cons ie, Dyson hairdryer- GHD straighteners-easy to use coffee machine-AirPlay TV makes for minimal packing & most enjoyable stay! Complimentary champagne on arrival & again at breakfast was a lovely touch making us feel that little bit extra special during our weekend. All the staff were so pleasant, helpful, informative & accommodating. Nothing too much trouble. Particularly the restaurant team.

The attention to detail given to the room in terms of design, layout, detailing and facilities was exceptional. Contemporary but homely. Some great touches such as the complimentary bar and Tunnocks biscuits! Staff were enthused and it is clear that the company is a good employer. Special thanks to Miles and Peter for insights and a great representation of the hotel ethos / offering. Best city hotel we've ever stayed in.

Nothing

First, the location was perfect for our stays. We used the trains several times and loved that our walk to the station was less than 3 minutes. Second, the rooms (we had 2 different rooms) were quiet and dark (which we have at home and love); third, the rooftop bar/breakfast area was extraordinary! Fourth, the thoughtfulness in the design of the rooms did not go unnoticed - reading lights bedside, charging areas next to bedside, the solid wood door that slides to block daylight, the complimentary refreshments in the drawer, the hair dryer and straightening iron, robes and slippers. Lastly, it's a testament to the bedding and linens - my husband and I slept great, and that never happens at a hotel. We loved our stay!

Honestly, one of my favorite hotel experiences I've ever had. The location was absolutely spot on. You could not get better in all of Edinburgh in my opinion. Everything was perfect. The staff took wonderful care of me. The concierge Peter was amazing. The room was gorgeous and modern. Up-to-date. Really loved it and I can be a bit of a room snob. The shower was a wonderful waterfall shower but they had other options as well if you're not into that. They supplied mini bar snacks for free and drinks, refilling them each day they even give you a Dyson hair dryer and a GHD hair straightener to use. 10 out of 10. I will absolutely be returning here.

This hotel was just fab. We were in Edinburgh for one night only, and it was perfect location, staff amazing, breakfast wowza. Cant fault this hotel at all...

Everything was perfect Location Cleanliness

Breakfast was excellent but please let customer eat or order more to fill up the day. Don’t restrict to only one plate or order from menu. First time in my 30 yrs experience in breakfast including stay with restricted meals. Very very disappointed

The location is very convenient to old and new town Edinburgh. Everything in the room was new, clean, up to date and comfortable. I really enjoyed the complimentary snacks and drinks in the fridge - nice touch. The hairdryer is a Dyson! The bed was exceptionally comfortable and you can adjust the temp of the room to your liking. They had blackout curtains (a must when sunrise is 4:30 am) and the room was very quiet. We had a view of the Scot Monument, which was lovely. Towels and toiletries were of fine quality. All employees were helpful, kind and friendly.

The size of the room was quite wee. There was just enough room in the bedroom to move around - sometimes with some "skooching'. They certainly used the available space wisely - the shower was a nice size. We were out sightseeing most of the day, so we didn't mind the small size of the room so much. The quality and comfort of the room made up for the lack of space.

I had to cancel at the last minute another reservation, as they had no 24 hour staff available, and I needed a wake up call for my 5am flight. I am so happy I booked this at the last moment, it was Perfect! 4th floor Vista room with a beautiful view of the city, free mini bar, and wonderful staff.

There was no improvement needed in my opinion, it was a perfect stay. I especially appreciated the fact they had a 24 hour desk, provided me a wake up call, and reserved my taxi the night before for my 5am flight. Did I mention the fantastic view from the 4th floor Vista Room? I loved this place.

A modern and comfortable hotel, perfectly located in the heart of the old town, very close to the central train station and public transport stops, providing easy access to the airport and the city. The location is also ideal for exploring the city on foot. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the room was spotless with daily cleaning and free minibar replenished every day. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety and excellent quality, and the option to order from the menu in addition to the buffet was a nice touch, making the experience even more enjoyable.
