I had a wonderful stay at Four Points by Sheraton Desaru. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the service was prompt and professional throughout our visit. The breakfast spread offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering well to all tastes. My toddler especially enjoyed the pool. The location was also excellent for our needs. While it’s not near Desaru Beach, it was still conveniently located close to the places we wanted to visit, such as D’Laksamana Restaurant and Desaru Seafood Corner. There are also shops, a local market, and a supermarket nearby, which made it very convenient for quick errands and snacks. We were especially grateful for the hotel’s effort in accommodating our request for connecting rooms, making our family stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others. Thank you, Four Points Sheraton Desaru, for a memorable stay!

Great variety of food in the breakfast. Great location as it's near many dining places and a Supermart.

When we checked in the first day, the reception told us that breakfast was not included but I clearly remember that it was stated in Booking.com that breakfast was included. On the day of checkout, the hotel staff at the breakfast area told us our breakfast was included... the reception could have checked more thoroughly and gave us the right information so our family could have enjoyed the breakfast.

The hotel breakfast was satisfactory, though not particularly special. It offered a variety of options, including a roti canai station, nasi lemak, and western staples like omelettes and sausages. I recommend arriving before 8:30 AM, as some popular items, like rendang, tend to run out later in the morning.

The food for the morning buffet was relatively lackluster in quality - go out of the hotel and have a great Malaysian breakfast if you can. That being said, I usually do not expect much for hotel breakfasts - it was decent enough to keep the stomach full and get on with our activities for the day.

Central location for shops and eating. If it isn't your preference to have a hotel breakfast buffet, there are plenty of choices for local or western breakfasts and other meals across the road. Hotel shuttle to the Desaru Coast area was handy too.

Had a room with an aircon vent (in-ceiling cassette type) right above the bed. Some might like the airflow but it's not my personal preference for the air current to be so direct. Other aspects of the room were fine though. Note the complimentary transfer from Desaru Ferry Terminal is not synced to the arrival times of ferries so we took an expensive taxi ride to the hotel from the sole taxi in rank rather than wait 30-40 mins more in a terminal with zero retail attractions.

The hotel facilities and rooms are clean and up to the standard of Sheraton. The hotel is built in the new commercial area where there are convenient stores and restaurants within walking distance.

The location is far from the beach, so this is not a beach holiday location. The staff at times can be a bit uninformed. I was with my mom who has difficulty walking. On the way to the lift, we passed by the restaurant where I asked for a chair to sit down. The question asked was, 'do I have a reservation?' The restaurant was empty, btw. Also, upon checking out, I just found out about the games room. I asked what is in the games room. The answer is 'You have to make a booking first, sorry today we are fully booked'

I recently stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Desaru, and I had an excellent experience. The hotel is conveniently located near the city center and within walking distance of numerous shops, making it easy to explore and find dining options. The rooms were impressively clean and spacious, providing a high level of comfort with plush bedding and modern decor. The amenities provided were more than sufficient, including a well-equipped gym, a relaxing spa, and a lovely rooftop pool. Additionally, the secure carpark gave me peace of mind, knowing that my vehicle was safe throughout my stay. Breakfast was good too.

One area of improvement would be the pillows, which were a bit too soft for my liking.

nice location inland so there is a lot of local food options. shuttle buses that bring you to the public beach and back. pool and gym were clean and well-maintained. staff were exceptionally outstanding and provided great care and professional service throughout our stay. perfect staycation to not do anything and chill by the pool all day.

only one aircon in the gym was working so it was kinda stuffy with a few people working it inside but doesn’t take away anything from my wonderful experience here

Had a really wonderful staycation at Four Points Sheraton Desaru. It was a surprise birthday trip for my fiancée and the staffs were really accommodative and helpful in making this surprise successful! Requested for a mini room deco and complimentary cake and my fiancée really loved it ☺️ A huge shoutout to 2 frontdesk employees: Mr Yogasweran (sorry if I spelt your name wrongly) and Mr Haziq Muhd for the exceptional customer service!!! 💯 The room was spacious and very clean. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone who’s gonna be in Desaru for a staycation. In fact, all the staffs are really friendly here so you’ll definitely feel welcome at this hotel. Fret not, there are plenty of food options and a small mall nearby. There’s a shuttle bus to Adventure Waterpark as well, just have to check with the hotel staffs for the specific timings. This is my first experience at Four Points Desaru and definitely not the last! Highly recommended 👍

The rooms were comfortable and clean. As expected of Four Points, which makes the price paid worth every cent. A lot of eateries, mini marts, and other retail shops within walking distance. The staff are also very helpful and friendly.

It was interesting that the hallways are not air conditioned - this is my second visit and it's still the same so I assume it is to save electricity? It's just a little strange. Also, the elevator, despite the braille on the buttons, is not accessible to visually-impaired persons as there is no audio indicator that the elevator has arrived at any particular floor. The scanning of the card to access the floors also has no sound so it is hard to tell when we can press our floor button. And it is also inconsistent - there were times we could access our floor without tapping the card and other times when we have to so it is also a little concerning security wise.

Location was more functional than scenic in the sense that we had access to a lot of small shops and eateries (Dominos, Pizza Hut, etc.) nearby but I cannot call it beautiful compared to the hotels we saw next to the beach front. Rooms were very spacious and nice. On the whole it was more bang for our bucks.

Albeit the breakfast was full of varieties we did not like it from our own Indian point of view as it had no Indian flavours, only south-east Asian delicacies which we don't relish so much. We ordered some ala carte for meals which was good.
