I was very pleased with the location of the hotel. It is conveniently situated near the Farrindon station, providing easy access to both the metro and the Thameslink train service, which offers a direct route from Gatwick Airport. The hotel room itself was comfortable and exceptionally clean. Additionally, the neighborhood felt safe and was close to central London, making it a perfect base for exploring the city.

However, I encountered some bureaucratic issues during my stay. The hotel was unable to change my room from a double to a twin with single beds, which was quite inconvenient. Additionally, upon check-in, I was required to provide a credit card for a security deposit and personal information, which felt overly bureaucratic and somewhat intrusive.

I felt so grateful finding this place. All small things made my trip easy and comfy! I often stay in UK for business trips and as always all my meetings or trainings are location outside London. This time I stayed Marrables three times in my 4 weeks length stay in Europe. Every time, when I need traveling outside London the hotel kept my unnecessary luggages safe and then they put the luggage to my new room! Also they make all the effort to check in early! I’ll definitely come back here next time too:):) thanks a lot!

It’s very personal and not a problem for most of the travellers but I am fear of caterpillars and worms and one of the room has a drawing of these…

My partner and I stayed in London on the weekend of the 19-21 July 2024. I chose the Marrable for its location as I used to work on St John St and knew the area well. The location is great. Easy access to TFL tubes and buses as well as renting VOI scooters (which is fun). The hotel staff were very helpful and the room we stayed in was clean, great decor and the bathroom was spotless with a super Rain Forest style shower. We had breakfast at the Marrable's sister Hotel (The Zetter - Clerkenwell) and again, the staff there were very helpful and the breakfast was generous and very tasty! Not forgetting the attention to detail by the waiting staff in The Zetter!). Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy room, nicely decorated and well presented. Hotel very conveniently located not far from Farringdon underground station, so very easy to get out and about. Quite a few pubs, bars and restaurants nearby, too. The tea and coffee stations are very handy.

The room was quite warm, even with the heating switched off. We had to have the window open which meant a lot of noise from outside which was quite annoying. The hotel also was covered in scaffolding, which we didn't realise until about one day before hand when they sent an email about it. Fortunately, the scaffolding didn't cross our window but I would have been pretty disappointed if it had. Hopefully the other guests were aware of this before booking.

The addition of an extra duvet, provided upon request, ensured our comfort throughout the night. We were delighted to find a cozy lounge area in the room, complete with a coffee machine and electric kettle, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploration. The bathroom boasted the best bathtub we've ever experienced, adding an extra touch of indulgence to our stay. With amenities like these, Marrable's Farringdon Hotel would be ideal for a longer stay, allowing guests to fully take advantage of everything the room has to offer. Located in a quiet and charming neighborhood, the hotel provided a peaceful retreat from the bustling city center. The comfortable bathrobes and softest slippers provided an extra layer of luxury, while the excellent view added to the overall ambiance of the room. Furthermore, the impeccable service was evident from the moment we arrived. Despite arriving a bit early and the room not being ready, the staff graciously stored our luggage and had it delivered to our room by the time we returned, showcasing a level of attentiveness and care that truly elevated our experience. In conclusion, Marrable's Farringdon Hotel exceeded all expectations, providing a luxurious retreat with unmatched comfort and service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

small room but very clean. Modern finishing. very clean bathroom and excellent shower and toiletries. the location is prefect if you want to be close to Farringdon station. easy access to Oxford Circus via bus 55 which stops literally at the doorstep. Property is just a short walk away from Exmouth market and Angel. There is a BrewDog and several coffee shops opposite the hotel. Staff were friendly and everything went very smoothly

We could checkin earlier than expected which was really nice after our early flight. The room was surprisingly big for London with good heating, a nice bathroom and no noise from the road at night. The free water, coffee and tea was great and the wifi worked well for us. Free female hygiene products in the bathroom by the lobby. Everyone was very friendly and helpful (for example when we needed help with the safe). There's lots of cafes, pubs and restaurants in close proximity and public transport is also close by and well connected.

Not a lot of space for clothing (but we didn't mind living out of our suitcases).

The hotel is in a really safe and cool zone, perfectly seated between the centre of London and areas such as King’s Cross and Camden. It’s very well-served by buses so everything is reachable from here. I would recommend for anyone looking for a safe place to stay at while also being close to the main areas, avoiding the crowdiest places right in the centre!

I’m not a fan of the typical English carpets that cover the floor of the rooms, but I know it’s a cultural thing

We love this hotel. The location is great and the staff are always delightful and very welcoming. My elderly mother in law was the traveller and she was really looked after. They changed her room when she was allocated one with a bath and changed her to a shower room. There is a nice small bar to have a drink and the staff are lovely!

Breakfast is a bit pricey so we ate out and I the music in the restaurant/bar area is terrible!

Nice friendly welcome when we arrived. The room was small but really well designed and set up, ditto the bathroom. Lots of nice touches eg a hot water bottle, an umbrella, towelling bathrobes. Really nice toiletries. A kitchette along the corridor to make a variety of teas, coffees, iced water. Lovely breakfast at the charming Zettle hotel around the corner (Marrables restaurant undergoing repairs). Wonderfully quiet location.
