It gets very good rating simply being a better than average hotel by Australian standards for insanely cheap price of $20 AUD/night. The things that let it down which I can't really complain since its so cheap is the internet is super slow but thats OK I just go for short walk to the awesome Lighthouse Cafe to use their blazing fast internet. Cold water turned to warm water super fast when in the shower trying to cool down from hot weather outside. The bed frame is of an irregular shape that can cause injury to your feet if you lift your leg and drop without checking. The mattress comfort is average but It has 5 star quality hotel linen for the price you pay for a backpackers hostel in Australia for a one night. The towels however are very cheap and thin but thats ok for only $20/night. Also there is an identical hotel to the left I got into by mistake and couldn't find my room. Good thing its a quiet street away from main road except for the annoying cyclist vendor with loudspeaker selling banh baos who occasionally rides past. Only few mins walk to the main beach. All in all I would definitely revisit when I am looking to be budget conscious and have everything I need to get by.

Stayed in a gorgeous bedroom. £10 for the night and it was the best sleep I’ve had throughout my backpacking experience. Definitely worth it. Not too bad location either few minutes walk to the beach and easy taxi ride to the main airport / surrounding sights

Nothing I didn’t like, expect they didn’t havent a luggage store room. We just had to leave our bags inside the lobby on the floor which didn’t feel the safest but luckily everything was okay. Would have loved it more if there was a pool!

Very cheap comfortable and neat attraction

Not systematic update.. for example I already paid for my laundry with other staff then next day when I want to check out. They said I still didn’t pay yet. Waste my money though. I hoped the staff keep updating with the staff changing

The sink could be washed more regularly

This was the best place we have stayed in Vietnam so far. 1. Amazing, friendly, English-speaking staff. Very accommodating and kind. 2. The cleanest rooms we have seen so far. Beautiful decor too. Lots of good lighting and mirrors. 3. There is a garage to store your motorbike with an attendant who keeps watch. 4. Laundry service (expensive) but a nice option to have. 5. Our rooms were made up daily. The bedsheets and towels were very clean. 6. The AC worked perfectly. There was a mini fridge stocked with drinks which was very nice. 7. The location is very good, close to the breach and mini mart, close to restaurants.

Unfortunately the room we stayed in looked NOTHING like the photos. It was still clean, white bedding and grey flooring, but it does not look like the pictures. It is much more modern, which we actually preferred, but be warned that the photos are not like how the room looks. The bathroom door handle was broken, and the shower door did not close so water would spray across the bathroom floor. There is a “sister hotel” (Golden Rose 2) down the street, so be careful of entering the wrong hotel!

Really good hotel for the price. Feels 4 star and looks good. Nice area of Son Tra with shops and restaurants around and then beach road in 5 min walk at end of the street with the Raddison on the end. A variation of cheap and fancy restaurants and local shops for grocery stores on the street. I was very comfortable. Very nice staff and super cleaning staff.

Looks 4 star but some of the finish of the craftsmanship looks rushed. Some issues small ant like insects in the rooms. And design with layouts of the room in places is not the best. But really small things A great hotel and I would stay again for the price

The hotel is under renovation so it is very noisy, the room has a slightly musty smell. There will be no towels and hand soap. There is no iron

Our room was spacious and bright and we loved the city view especially at night. It was also incredibly quiet. The staff were polite and there were plenty of places for coffee near by. We arrived with heavy cases and were disappointed to find a large flight of steps up to the reception. However, we then found out that if you go through the basement you can use the lift. We also had water and a kettle provided but you need to have your own tea and coffee. You are a 5 minute Grab drive from the night market at Dragon Bridge and the river. A nice hotel and a nice stay

Nothing to do with the property itself but we had to go further afield to eat as we like vegetarian food and most of the eateries are either seafood or bbq.

Location was great!

Just a little wifi problem

The room was clean, the beds and pillows were extremely comfy, the shower was superb (immediate hot water, cleanliness, water pressure - you get it). Location was great too; it's not smack in the middle of touristy spots so it was quieter which is what I enjoyed, and there were plenty of great and cheap food options and cafes around. It was also only a very short walk to the beach, which I appreciated. And very value for money! Would totally live here long term if I could. Highly recommend if you want a no-frills kind of hotel.

I think the photos on the website are a little misleading as the hotel is really not as fancy as it appears. But like I said in my review above, I think the basics are all comfortably there so I would still recommend this hotel.
