The Staff were a pleasure to deal with, well the 2 female ones anyway 🙂. Very welcoming and always had a smile. The dudes need to reelaaax a little, you know, stop tryna look hard or whatever tf it is. You're in the hospitality industry, LOOK hospitable man! 😄

My toilet seat, lol, was a little loose, and the 2 armchairs hadn't been vacuumed underneath. My booking stated a balcony, but got a room without one.

We had a kerfuffle with our flights and they were very accomodating, offering a very late check in. The rooms are nice with balcony views, plenty of space and good ammenities. We were able to store our bags on our last day while we waited for our flights. It's a small walk into the CBD, noting that a lot of Auckland is on an incline so be ready for that! The staff offered to help us with drying our laundry and regularly swapped out our towels and bin.

The ammenities are great including having a washer-dryer however I couldn't find instructions on how to use it. A guide would be nice as I found it a little confusing. We had our towels swapped out regularly but not the bathmat. It would also be good to have a couple of other items for longstays such as dishwashing liquid and cloths (we rarely used enough dishes to run the dishwasher), having the clothes horse in the room (we requested it and it was immediately provided but it would have been a pain if we had already started washing clothes), tissues and maybe some longlife milk pods would be nice too. None of this took away from my stay but it would have enhanced it! I also found that the bedroom would become really during the day but there were no vents or fans in there.

My 2nd room was perfect. If I had this room from the beginning, then I would've rated my stay higher. The night receptionist was extremely helpful and lovely! Made my experience much better and I felt better knowing I got exactly what I paid for.

First receptionist wasn't helpful or listening to my queries. I told her that I paid for a room that had a tumble dryer, she insisted the washing machine was a 2 in 1 but it definitely wasn't. I didn't check until I came back from my walk and that's when I noticed my room was also meant to come with a balcony. I went downstairs to talk to the receptionist again but it was a new lady, she was very understanding and put me in the correct room I paid for. First room was dirty, a lot of damages and the washing machine was definitely just a washing machine and not a dryer too. So I'm assuming First receptionist put me in the wrong room or didn't think I'd query why my room isn't what I paid for and tried to rip me off. Super thankful to the second receptionist

Everything was SPOT ON 🫡🙏

Staff were so helpful and friendly, even with multiple check ins and bag collections at once they were always so friendly and didn’t feel like they were trying to push customers through. I felt safe and secure in the building, having to use key card to access elevators and room. I traveled alone so it helped ease my mind quite a bit. Location was perfect for me, within 15 minutes walk of everything I wanted to do including the bus stop from the airport.

As other reviews have stated the cleanliness isn’t the best. I understand the rooms have a lot in them so it difficult to clean around the beds, there is quite a bit of dust in the corners and behind lamps. Nothing overly concerning or that takes away from the experience but it is noticeable.

We booked one executive apartment which offers 2 bedrooms. It was a good stay as the apartment was very spacious. Located centrally, only walking distance to the famous Skytower, doesn't need to grab a cab to go to the Britomart Train station or the Ferry building to catch a ferry boat trip. The internet connection is fast and the rest of the facilities were great. Lovely staffs as well. :)

One of our beds was a large double bed, but it was actually two single sized beds joined up together, thus made us sink in the middle and was a bit awkward. The central air condition is located only in the living room and no ventilation in both rooms so you need to open the windows at night otherwise you'll wake up sweating. We would have requested for a fan should we stay for more nights..

The location is great and the accomodation was fantastic for the price. We were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment and there was more than enough space. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was functioning with a dishwasher even. I had enough equipment that was needed including a toaster, a microwave and a large fridge with a freezer. The staff were pleasant and friendly and Jenny on reception was lovely and helpful, a real credit to the hotel and couldn't do enough to help the guests.

The staff were amazing. My daughter was sick, the staff made it possible to check in 30 mins earlier. They were super helpful, nothing was too much trouble even late at night. We liked very much the welcome drink at reception. It was just the thing while we waited for our room. Comfy bed and pillows. Toiletries were very nice. Room was nice. Would stay here again.

The dishwasher didn't work but the staff went out of the way to clean the 4 items we wanted to clean. The WIFI connection was confusing, the staff again came to help. Parking. We'd hoped to be able to park on site but instead went to the Grand on Vincent carparking. It was challenging with a sick child, hot day, no city center knowledge. The website info differs from reality and confusing messages between Booking.com and.VR websites.

The bedroom and the apartment were all clean and fresh a washing machine and little sachets off washing powder just topped it off we had a great view off the city friendly helpful staff

That I had to have a credit card on arrival as I used my daughters to pay for the room ..ii also have no I'd which I never really think about untill we had a nine and a half hour bus ride and could not check in untill I got my daughter who works in a night club to fill a form into give me permission to use it and my department off social development card which is a government department was not good enough it was very late my two sons were hungry and I was really not in the mood ... that was my only issue the lady was very good with me as I was quite rude and tired . Thank you 💜💙 front desk lady on the night I arrived u were awesome thankyou for being patient and helpful with me I know u don't make the rules it's your job

Great guest service by the team at the reception, always going the extra mile to make guests comfortable and to attend to guest requests. Jenny and Christine, in particular were exceptional in this respect. The location of the hotel in Auckland CBD was perfect for the purpose of my visit. Fully furnished serviced apartment with all necessary facilities to make my stay very enjoyable indeed. The housekeeping team are a happy bunch ready to fulfil guests' requests at all times.

Nothing of note. I had an issue with my washing machine not opening one night, but the issue was quickly resolved by Christine from the Reception team who took my laundry away to be done and returned early the following morning. A gym and swimming pool will be excellent icings on the cake!
