Front desk girl was very nice! I don’t know her name but she helped me to book a taxi as well as telling to about the wifi password! Thank you for that! Facilities wise they’ve got all! Complementary tea & coffee in your room as well as a hair dryer & towels. Common area is spacious too! Lots of sofas & a microwave to heat leftover food! Location wise it’s difficult to walk here if you have heavy luggage like me. So I recommend taking a cab here due to the upward slope/hill this hotel is located on. Fan & heater are both provided, but I can imagine how humid the rooms are in the summer without proper AC…& there are good restaurants around this area that you can go to)) very nice! I’ll stay here again next time when I have less luggage with me.

The Indian guy who checked me in was not as friendly as the other girls there. Room that I stayed in was very small but hey, for USD 40$ a night or so staying in this type of room is ok. Bed wasn’t as long as I thought. Despite the small room size, I did however slept pretty well! Lift is old too…capacity is only 2 people at once.

The location at the top of Queen St near K road was very convenient for us. The kitchen was the best stocked for cooking equipment we have ever had so we were able to make a lot of our own food. There were fans in the room which was great as it was so hot. The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom, though small, was adequate and the shower pressure great. We had our room serviced during our 3 day stay which we were not expecting.

It is clean and adequate but basic accommodation. It suited us but if you are looking for some luxury, this isn't suitable

I requested a room with a double bed and they exceeded that by giving me a double bed and a single bed. The other guests were very interesting and talkative. There is an amazing park out back with a statue of Moses in there which was beautifully made. Room was awfully hot though but there was a fan and plenty of windows to open. It was super reasonably priced too even had a pool table. I did loose a purple ear bud/headphone but it might show up and staff were very supportive about finding it.

Easy to get to, convienient... clean, shower etc was great. Ive stayed here a few times for those reasons... I was upgraded to a room with my own toilet and shower, which was appreciated...

Sadly we were on the ground floor near the car park. Not really wanting to leave the window open for fresh air when sleeping, anyone could climb in, and the fan that was provided was exceptionally ineffective. Which on a hot summers night, wasnt good. Ive stayed here a few times as its value for money... but have opted now to not stay there in the summer. Otherwise all was pretty good. Yeah, not really much to gripe about, but after a long flight and knowing you have an early start, sleep is important.

Excellent value for money. Comfy room with sink in it. Staff is kind and helpful. Location is great, but.. see cons.

Walls too thin, a family staying next to us had their children wake up 6am and started jumping on beds, not hotel fault tho. Entrance of the mens toilet had a strong smell of urine, inside was clean but had no soap to wash your hands after using it. Location is good but you have to climb uphill for several blocks if you are coming from the CBD on foot... Like everything in Auckland.

I really liked the central position of the hotel. The lounge area was really comfortable and I spent some time there with a book. My room was nice and private with my own bathroom. The shower was great

I wasnt expecting the room to be so small..not that it was a problem but I kept banking my leg on the bed as I walked into the room. I only had one pillow and there was a gap between the bed and the head board and I kept losing my pillow in the gap

As always - a great spot in the city! roght next to the Meyers Park, quieter than all the other places in town, the location manages to keep a very agreably noise level in between the center and a busy quater full of restairants, not far away from an even bigger park and the botanical garden. The room had a very pleasant view, we had a private bathroom and the beds were very comfortable! We could leave the baggage in the afternoon and would love to check in again!

Location is good, right on Queen Street but it is uphill if you are walking! We found it easy to catch public transport from this location. In terms of the property, it is very good value for money as has a mini fridge, tea and coffee items and an ensuite. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

It was a bit noisy at night and in the morning as guests were leaving/ checking out. We found that there was a lot of noise coming from the corridor as well as light under the door. Particularly one family was very noisy, with their door open into the hallway and it would have been good to have an option to contact management to kindly ask them to be quieter. Other than this, the rooms were slightly older but nothing too major!

Most of the staff were friendly , the rooms were nice and tidy. Close to where we needed to be .

One of the security guards was on a power trip and decided to give us a letter stating if he had to come see us one more time we were gonna be kicked out. Yup I get the lads were talking loud walking through the lobby but that was about it. There were kids running and screaming up and down the hallway and he didn’t say or do anything for them… so seems like there was a double standard there. The other security staff and hotel staff were absolutely great 😊

The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The bed was comfy and there was even a little sink in the room which is handy as you don't have to keep going back and forth to the bathroom. They had facilities such as laundry, an iron and luggage storage which you could use at any time. The staff were very friendly and approachable, I was even allowed to check in a little early as my room was ready. Good location, plenty of shops and restaurants around. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

The walls are quite thin so if you are a light sleeper then this might be bothersome for you. Its also at the top of a hill which again might be an issue but it wasn't a problem for me.
