The property was clean with lots of facilities and the ability to organising diving and snorkelling excursions. The breakfast included is delish, with many options (1 meal, 1 juice & a coffee) and the restaurant outside is incredible and serves delish food.

The only downside to the property is the distance from the harbour. Once you’re there everything you need is around you but getting to and from the harbour is a bit of a walk. We opted not to take the horse and cart as we didn’t feel comfortable, the walk is 20 mins, manageable and I would say worth it but to be considered!

We were there for the 3 days of dive certification so staying here was very convenient considering the amount of time we would be in the pool or out on a boat; it was great not having to go far to get the gear before heading out on the boat each day. While the rooms are pretty basic, they are very bright, airy, and incredibly clean. We were not expecting the rooms to be this nice for the price we were paying to be right on the beach with a room that had our own patio that walked right out to and overlooked the pool. While there is not technically a restaurant for the property, just next door is a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its menu is limited and mostly western dishes, and not cheap, but it is really tasty and very convenient with great music playing all day. You can order food from there and get it delivered to your room or by the pool if you want. They do their best to keep the property mor sustainable including providing shampoo, body wash, etc. in nice refillable containers and it smells good! They also provide free drinking water with a large refillable glass bottle in your room and you can go to the office to refill it as much as you want throughout the day and early evening. There is a basic small fridge in each room so you can also go get your own drinks and snacks to keep in there. The beach is beautiful and this stretch is quieter than some other areas of "sunset beach". This property doesn't rent bicycles but you can rent them just 2 doors down--we rented them for 3 days and were able to keep our bikes right near our patio. The staff can give you recommendations for the best local food!

My only complaint, tho. its a minor one, is the dive instructors all congregate at the front corner of the property by the pool and most of them just hang out there smoking. If they are going to smoke, I wish they would do it either in the back area where the equipment is getting washed down or out by the beach area/picnic tables instead of right there where the rest of us are also making use of the pool and loungers and have to smell all the cigarette smoke. Again, its such a minor thing but worth mentioning. The instructors are all so friendly and helpful. It would just be nice not to smell all the cigarette smoke.

+ Location + beachfront, Sunset + included breakfast at PJs Bar + PJs bar next to the hotel and the staff, good relaxing music (Kind of trance-deep House and sometimes Reggae) + Pools in front of the beach: two pools, one to swim and one to dive in front of the beach! + room: cozy bed, towels and everything smelled good! room was nice and bright, AC was really good!

absolutely nothing, Everything was Perfect.

Location was right on the beach, and seemed quieter than other parts of the island. Less than a 10 min cycle to anywhere on the island. Food and cocktails were good, pools were clean, and room had everything you needed. Great to have excellent dive centre on site. There is building works nearby, but they don't disturb the hotel at all. Loved all the cats. Recommend ZZZ warung round thr corner for food!

Breakfast was tricky. Although it was included we didn't get to have it most days. We had to pay the first day as they gave us the wrong menu, even though we'd said we were staying at the hotel. Make sure you order on the ipad for the included breakfast, not from the normal menu. After we learnt that, we still missed several breakfasts as we were diving at the times breakfast was available - for a dive resort I'd expect them to make sure breakfast was available either before and/or after the first dive of the day.

HeyHey !! All in All, this was a very nice experience. Perfect Location, very nice Accommodations, and a very nice Swimming pool. Happy People, All the Way, from arrival, to departure ;=)) I was there for Scuba Diving and Snorkeling, and everything was VERY well organized, my overall experience with the Accommodations, Staff, Check-In, Divers, Instructors and Guides, was 100% satisfactory. Very good food at JB's Bar next Door, and nice people. One of the brilliant things with Meno and Air, there's no Cars, no Scooters, if you absolutely need a Taxi, and for some reason can't walk ;=), there's Horse and Chariot ;=) One of the places, I'd easily come back to. Nothing to Mislike

The bed is extremely comfortable. The hosts were very kind in every situation. The swimming pool is quite relaxing. Ideal location to see the sunset.

It is normal that some bugs or mosquitoes enter the room given that the hotel is surrounded by deep nature. Nevertheless, there was a gap between the sliding door and the windows through which some bugs could enter the room (a big spider and a small scorpion). It is not to blame the hosts at all, maybe just by fixing this gap the problem would be resolved. Overall it was a great experience and we totally recommend it!

Gili air is a unique place to stay, and Blue Marlin Dive adds that western touch to a very Indonesian island. However it is fantastic to see how the locals have been integrated and play a crucial role in the success of this business. Breakfast by the beach in the morning is the ultimate level of happiness. We didn't dive, but went snorkeling, staff have been helpful with giving tips and organising transfers. Thank you all for our fantastic stay. Rooms were spacious and the pool was a nice distraction for the kids.

The rooms were lovely and next door to each other even though they were different styles of rooms, I did ask for them to be close if possible. They were nicer than we had expected and this was good because my husband became ill and had to spend a lot of time in it :-( The included breakfast was supplied by an attached restaurant on the beach which was a set menu but many choices and we enjoyed a number of meals at it as well. We were diving with them and our dive guide was very patient with us novices, the staff were friendly and the dives were great. The hotel was on the quiet side of the island but only a 20 minute walk to the port and busier part of town.

The only thing really was the pillows were a bit high for my husband and the sunsets kept being ruined by clouds ;-)

We stayed here for 4 nights and did our scuba diver certification too and highly recommend Blue Marlin for both accommodation and diving. The rooms are lovely, great AC, super comfortable beds and pillows and they are just a few steps away from the ocean. The dive instructions and staff are wonderful too. We were lucky to be taught by Grant, Daisy and Irlando, who were all so friendly, professional, kind and reassuring. Especially with first time diver nerves. The dive course was so much fun and the diving itself was amazing, so many turtles and stunning marine life. We absolutely loved our time here and can’t wait to come back! 🙏 🌴🐠 🐢

The bed was really comfortable and the pillow had the right height which it's not easy to find. In other hotels it was too high for us but this one was perfect 👌 The room was spotless clean and the bathroom was very spacious. We had a terrace to sit outside and hang our wet clothes. We also had a tap outside to clean our feet with warm water which was a great detail. The swimming pool was beautiful although we didn't use it and the breakfast was fabulous and very tasty. The staff was very friendly answering our questions. I wish we could stay longer because we really enjoyed our stay in Gili air. Very recommended and specially if you want to do scuba diving
