Honestly one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in on our travels. A beautiful room with a high thatched ceiling, enormous luxurious bed, a sea view (in the distance) and a gorgeous bathroom with walk in shower and his and hers sinks. The owner is so lovely and made us feel so at home - she left us a complementary bottle of red wine as well as very good rusks and some soft drinks in our fridge. She also made an excellent breakfast - high quality granola, fresh fruit and yoghurt, homemade vetkoek and bacon and eggs with toast. A two minute walk to the beautiful white sand beach and a 15 walk to the restaurants. I just wish we'd stayed longer!

We’ve had the most wonderful stay at the House of Braganza! Thank you Henobi! We stayed for over two weeks and would have loved to stay even longer. Very comfy beds and a beautiful view from the room. You can hear the ocean at night and the soft breeze through the windows is so nice and relaxing. We stayed with a small baby and were afraid we would be noisy or that the other guests in the bed & breakfast would complain, but it seems that the rooms are well insulated and sound-proof, so everything worked out just great. Whenever we had a question or needed help, Henobi was quick to reply and always tried her very best to accomodate us. She really pays attention to details, which makes you feel at home and taken care of :) We would LOVE to stay here again ♥️

In case you want more privacy you want to book both rooms 😄 Henobi’s place is very popular and therefore we had the chance to met a lot of interesting travelers from all over. We did not mind this at all (but perhaps others would).

Henobi is an excellent host. You feel her care and personal touch on everything. You really feel like her personal guests rather than some hotel customer. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfasts were tasty. The common areas were beautiful. The location is great. It's a perfect driving distance to everything you may want to do in the peninsula. The complimentary wine was tasty!

The location is ideal considering the general surroundings; short walk to the beach, beautiful views, 5min drive to Imhoff Farm with an amazing restaurant! Breakfast was absolutely amazing!!! Thanks to the our heroic host, Henobi! She is an absolute gem of a human being! I loved the vintage wooden décor and design, the fresh sea breeze sent from the Juliette balcony... It really exceeded my expectations.

Nothing! It was absolutely PERFECT!!!

Home away from home! We loved the amazing breakfast, the tranquility of the place, our wonderfull host Henobi who was bending over backwards to make our stay enjoyable, and the whirlpool bathtub. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated with big windows overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed eating breakfast and reading books on the balcony. We felt really safe and relaxed.

A bit tight parking space

We had a variety of 14 stays during a long road-tripping experience of the WC. We have agreed that the House of Braganza was most suitable for our needs, more especially the room with the sea view and openness to the ocean air coming off the ocean. Our dogs were most comfortable, and the beach was right there! The hostess was most friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was amazing! Thank you, we will be back for sure.

Beautiful house in quiet, beautiful Kommetjie. Only a few steps to the long, white sanded beach. You can hear the ocean from your room. The room was clean and comfortable with great views. Super friendly owner. Good breakfast made with love from the owner.

We would have loved a proper coffee machine in the kitchen.

The room was bright, spacious and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable and the host went out of her way to make sure we were well settled. The breakfast and extra treats were lovely. The location is perfect with easy access to the beach and a short distance from the village.

The host is so sweet! The property is really cool, super comfortable. They offered some complementary drinks and even a wine. The breakfast was super good! It’s also very close to the beach. Would definitely stay there again.

Would just suggest to provide a heater! The one available in the room was not enough and it was quite cold.

We had a really lovely 2 night stay. Henobi was a fantastic host. Excellent breakfast and we had dinner one night. Henobi is a fantastic cook and dinner was probably better than we would have had at a local restaurant and at an unbeatable price too ! We could walk 50 metres to the beach to watch the sunset. Conveniently located for visiting numerous attractions in the Cape Point area. Very relaxing hearing the waves at night and combined with a comfy bed we slept really well ! We will definitely stay again when we are next in the Cape area.
