We were very pleased with the studio apartment - it is large, comfortable and decorated in contemporary style with a well equipped kitchen, a good bathroom, including a washer and dryer. Secure parking is also a bonus. Wifi worked well. Bed very comfortable.

On our arrival, we were welcomed enthusiastically by staff and offered a drink. This was a friendly but persistent lead-in to a marketing speel about joining the "club" (we think, it was hard o get a handle on what they wanted from us). We said we weren't interested in attending a presentation or, indeed giving one(!) but it took a little persistence on our part to get the message across. I'm sure it was well intentioned but we did find it a little off-putting. The shower is over the bath and while a rail and non slip rubber mat are thoughtfully provided, it is still hazardous getting in and out.

We arrived at our accommodation late in the afternoon. The kids were knackered after a long travel day. We were welcomed by very lovely staff who took their time to go through everything with us. We checked into our room and my goodness it was one of the best apartments I’ve stayed in. They have thought of everything! Coffee machine, blender etc! Washing machine and dryer…everything! The pool was magnificent! And the restaurant we had breakfast in was also exceptional. One of the best things was all of the extra things that are available to hire at no extra costs! This included electric bikes, bikes, body boards, beach carts and beach accessories and much more! Very happy with everything. We will come here again!

That we didn’t book more than 3 nights here! We will stay for longer next time.

The pool was great and the location is wonderful.

In the master bedroom, airflow was poor because the windows could not be opened properly. From this room we also had a lot of noise from the pool. We also experienced lots of passive smoke from the smokers on their balconies nearby.

The presidential suite was awesome and good for the price. Master suite with tv in bath, bidet, outdoor shower and private balcony was great. Kitchen even has a wine fridge. 4 bedrooms was huge!

Parking away from the villa and using trolley to carry bags was annoying. Have a service that do this for you at reception. The jacuzzi spa on our deck also wasn’t hot when we arrived (told due to cleaning) so we put it on to heat up and waited 6hrs and still not hot so couldn’t get in. Next day maintenance came and did something and it heated up to 33 then it wasn’t hot enough and the maintenance guy locked it so we couldn’t turn it up. Middle of winter the spa needs to be on 40 degrees. Half the jets didn’t work either. Tv you were unable to get normal TV and we couldn’t stream from our phones to them as there was an error. Annoying if your child doesn’t watch Foxtel or the in house movies. The “sell” for the timeshare at check in was annoying too.

Everything was lovely n special note out to your staff from arriving to leaving extremely helpful . I have diet issues n your Chef went out of her way n made me two amazing g meals , on separate nights , she specially crumbed a snitty for snitty night . I haven’t been able to eat a crumbed snitty since over 2 years . Thanks so much for making my return to Port with my daughter n grandson so remarkable as it holds precious memories for me as a growing child. I will be back Michele Heaton .

Nothing everything was perfect , I will be back when it’s a little warmer.

There for our 46th wedding anniversary. The entire place is amazing with ease to and from apartment and car. Not far to local shopping centre and beaches. The heated pool and spa is so relaxing. Great choice of movies. Washing machine/ dryer and cooking facilities excellent. Lorikeets ate from our hands. Spoke to a Kookaburra on the post for a couple of minutes and gardens beautiful. Oh and the bath is a good size! Very clean. Thank you Club Wyndham

A minor issue on leaving but couldn't possibly override everything the place had to offer. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Location was fantastic, super close to beach, close to town. Loved that the resort offered free boogie boards, surfboards, e-bikes, fishing rods, slushies etc - my colleague ended up extending for Easter and bringing her family. Pool, gym, facilities were awesome.

There was a planned power outage on our last night and when the power came back on the dishwasher beeped every 15 seconds the whole night. After trying all options to stop it, we were unable to and we were unable to reach the power point behind it. It really wasn't user friendly and we didn't end up sleeping our last night. Super rare, isolated incident though and it didn't deter us from wanting to re-visit and for referring our friends and colleagues.

Everything a family of 4 could need for a short break. Close to the beach, fantastic pool and poolside service. Short walk to local shops and restaurants. This is our second stay and we’ll make it a regular stop. Highly recommend the villas over the apartments in the older part of the complex- newer and more luxurious. BBQ areas around the pool with cleaning equipment always stocked up. It’s just fabulous!

I would suggest a few pool toys as we forgot ours and there weren’t any available.

We are a family of 4 and stayed in the deluxe 2 bedroom garden villa. It was modern and very well appointed with everything we needed. We loved the spacious balcony overlooking the pool. Having the restaurant on site was a huge plus and also right by the pool which was handy. The pool itself was awesome as it was heated and lovely to swim in. The location is great as it’s a good base from which to explore the port Macquarie region, although Flynn’s beach itself is a bit hard to access on foot for young children or elderly as there are steep stairs down, so we ended up driving to more accessible beaches. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The pool gets a little crowded at times and there is limited seating in the shade. We went at a peak time though in early January. We were usually able to get a lounger if we waited patiently but they could definitely use more of them and a little more shade.

Great little tropical oasis. Love the space of the accommodation. Having a separate bedroom for the kids and a full kitchen makes family holidays so much easier. The tropical garden landscaping makes it feel private despite being such a large resort. Pool is always perfect temperature as is the spa. Staff are friendly although wish we could skip the Wyndham sales pitch every single time. Last thing you want after driving for 7 hours with a car full of luggage and kids is a hardsell and to spend an hour of your holiday in a sales meeting. No means no.
