The rooms were very nice

The hotel was asking for an upfront deposit payment, I contacted booking.com as it stated on their website not to send over any credit card details, they then told me that they contacted the hotel, which was an office somewhere located in another location and they informed booking.com they didn’t have a record of my booking. Booking.com said they would cancel it and try for a replacement hotel, this was 3 hours before we were to check in and nothing else was available in the area, in this time I contacted the hotel directly and they informed me that they had my booking and they couldn’t understand what their head office and booking.com were talking about and informed us that they had our rooms.

I don't know where to start. I've been in london 4 times, and this was BY FAR the best accomodation I've ever been. When i entered my room, I couldn't believe I paid so little for it. Room recentely renovated, comfy bed, spotless clean, lots of little thoughts and touches like bloc notes, chocolates, pencils, quality bathroom products. Bathroom looked also very new. And even if you book without breakfast, complimentary tea and SPECIALITY coffee in the breakfast room. Position may intimidate a bit, but the Metro is very well connected to the center, Lovely girl at the reception for the night shift. E' stato piacevole parlare italiano con te ;)

The only thing was, that both the window and the walls were letting in quite a bit of noise from the street and the rooms. If you're a light sleeper I suggest earplugs cause I'm quite the heavy sleeper but had some issues falling asleep. That's the only improvement i'll do.

Travelled with a family of 5, the rooms given were clean and excellent.Self check in instructions were clearly given and had no issues.Beds were comfortable, body wash and shampoo were providedDefinitely take the breakfast option cause the choices the hotel provided was so delicious and my family really enjoyed it.Hotel is very close to the metro and bus stations, so it was easy to travel to central London daily.For the price, it was really worth it.

The water flow at the sink was slow, and there was miscommunication either with booking or the hotel cause i booked a room with air conditioning, generally assumed it to be an ac system but didn't realize that could mean a fan either. Luckily it was cold so it did not bother us but i hope the hotel can clarify this for future guests.Overall these were minor problems and did not affect our stay and experience at all.

The Peckham Rooms Hotel was exceptionally clean and well stocked with toiletries, towels and toilet paper. There was complimentary coffee and tea available in basement dining room (as well a various foodstuffs that you are trusted to pay for, should you want them). The location is perfect for Peckham and all restaurants, venues and amenities. We also managed to find free, overnight parking in one of the nearby streets

The room, en suite and bed were a bit small but we were able to open the window to let in some air. Unfortunately, opening the window let in the sounds of the busy, main road that runs past the hotel. Our room was near the front door of the hotel and the door banged frequently as people came and went

Bathroom was smelly, drain smell and toilet sit was sliding. Overall comfy beds and lovely staff.

The room was great. Was much bigger than I expected. Provided soap, shampoo, and shower gel, which was a real bonus if you were to forget your own. The lounge area was calming and a really lovely touch to the hotel. Plenty of seating with a variety of kitchen appliances for your own use as well as a variety of drinks and snacks, which you could pay for on an honesty tab. It was a really trustworthy place. I left food in the guest fridge without the fear of it being stolen. The stay was my own. I didn't feel bothered by the staff, but they were there if you needed anything. The hotel is great for anyone who needs to be close to the high street or Mountview. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again. Thank you.

Tap was a little wobbly, didn't bother me, but could be fixed in the future. The room was very hot/stuffy, but the air con was a great relief. This particular room was right next to the lounge stairs, so if you wanted an early night before 11 p.m., when it closes, you may hear people walking up and down. Considering this, it was super quiet for me.

The Peckham area is colourful vibes area ..to say at least.. The cleanliness and the coziness ist what makes Peckham Rooms Hotel exceptional.As soon as we arrived and it was after 10pm, we had already had got the information via email about the password for the entrance and the key locker. The entrance and the hall nice decorated.The room was smaller than I had in my memory from the picture of the booked Savana Room but nevertheless cozy and equipped with the most comfy bed with extra thick mattress and very clean state,also the fresh sheets and bed linen. Good impression of one savanna feeling with recalls Africa in my mind ( Terrakotta wall paint, well chosen pillowcases)..complimentary eco shower products. There is a little table and one chair. Also wardrobe and hangers. Small cable TV. My daughter and I enjoyed the good breakfast of good chosen products (the chocolate drink and coffee all organic) but also cooked eggs, bread, muffins, cheese, Marmelade,yoghurts and oat milk etc). The stuff was professional and the hairdryer was in our room upon request,after we contacted online as we were already sightseeing (the reception closes at 3pm,but they are always reachable also nights!). The location is Peckham,which is approximately 20-30minutes bus drive (station 3minutes walk from the hotel).The windows good isolated (police sirens in the night but its metropolis

The bathroom needs some shower glass or some kind of cleaning brush to pick up the water after the showering. The soap would be handy as well as an hairdryer (but,like I wrote,is also there upon request- I guess there are some reasons behind this). Some doors were slammed in the night. I also hoped for the room to be exactly like on the picture as I booked it,but after the correspondence with the manager’s I realised there are three same size rooms that are called Savana.. The booking option I chose „breakfast included“ was an issue after we checked out,because there was an 8£ amount dispute ,which was soon sorted by the manager. Always confirm the breakfast option, especially when there are teen children with you!

We have no complaints about the hotel or our stay, though the price rose sharply between finding/saving the booking and reserving the booking through booking.com.

Upon arrival, we were told that we were inconveniently late (just after 3pm). However, I had not been told that we needed to arrive by this time. I later saw that I had been emailed to say that we would have to check in remotely if arriving after 3pm, but still I am not sure why the receptionist felt the need to make this point.

Great value for money - tidy, clean, cozy hotel in a great location. The room was very charming, had some nice local art on the walls. Bathroom was modern, with a rainfall shower head and nice soap/shampoo. Small touches like sweets and map of the area. Easy and smooth checkin. Staff were absolutely lovely!

It’s on the main road, so can get a bit loud with traffic and people (especially if you open the window). But if you’re prepared for it, it’s bearable.

I'm sure everyone aware of the saying "get what you pay for". In this regard this accommodation exceeds expectations for accommodation in London. Rooms i have stayed in are small however the decor / fixtures & fittings are good overall. Chair / small desk / wifi / TV. En suite was very good, clean towels / provision of shower toiletries etc. Room was warm. The breakfast area setting is well furnished clean, tidy, and the continental breakfast offering fantastic (Muffins & filter coffee amazing) - great value for money. For someone on the Rd working looking for an overnight stay - you could ask for no more...... Wetherspoons available short walk down the Rd to get an evening meal. Communication great via email for gaining access out of reception hours but the system is good. Receptionists helpful. Nice touch offering guests option of ability to purchasing drinks & snacks with honesty payment facility at reception. Just be prepared for a little noise of hearing other guests coming & going during the evening - wasn't an issue for me. Free local street parking busy (i managed to get a space) but local Town Centre Parking at Cerise Rd is available as a back up - 8 min walk. Great Value.
