It was already our second stay here and we loved absolutely everything. And this despite the fact that it rained for most of our time there. Such a beautiful resort and really great value for money. All the dishes of all the meals were so delicious. The beach is just beautiful and all the palm trees and plants make it a wonderful place. And of course a huge shout out to all the incredible staff.

This facility keeps what it promises! All rooms are placed in bungalows of 3 units each. The staff tries very hard to fulfill all wishes - our daughter was not only given a cake for her birthday, but also a large serenade. The restaurant alternates between main restaurant - pool - beach, so the ambiance changes daily. The equipment of the area and the rooms is adorned with many gems, which pleasantly stand out from the usual equipment souvenirs. The beach area is also very clean and even the seaweed is removed daily. A perfect hotel to find a few days of relaxation after a safari.

Great service, clean rooms, relaxing location, well managed, good food, and most of all, the beach. Simply perfect. One didn't get hassled by beach merchants. Nice, little, blissful hotel and location. Definitely recommend!!!

One suggestion would be, while I agree with the eco friendly element and having filtered water stations around the hotel, it would be nice if during lunch/dinner/breakfast, if water was provided in bottles as opposed to by the glass. Just allows for less constant asking for water, that's all

No major problems, really. Price is not low, but you get all the good things for that, it was same with other small boutique hotels.. Hot water in the shower was not always there, but it's so hot outside that you don't need it. That's it. We loved the place.

Very well run boutique hotel with kind, helpful, polite and always smiling staff. They worked for us hard from early in the morning till late in the evening.The garden was very well-kept, it was amezing, we felt like being in paradise. The food was so tasty with wide range. We liked every minutes of staying there! Thank you! We recommend this hotel to everyone.

More attention should be paid to cleaning of the beach.

The property is small & quiet, the staff are wonderfully attentive staff. The food is excellent. Breakfast & dinners were served buffet-style. Various dinner theme nights were offered throughout the week. Our main floor suite (110) was very spacious and about twice the size of the rooms on the upper level. It included a large (king size) bed with netting, large desk with charging station, coffee table, sofa & stem chair. The back veranda was huge and had a double-sized lounge bed, table & two chairs and a built-in bench. It faced a lush treed & grassy area and was quiet private but no view of beach or ocean.

Lunch service was horrendous. Although the food served at lunch was very good it was ridiculously slow. This was the only meal we paid for daily and was a la carte. The kitchen staff/management need to get things figured out considering the number of cooks they have in full view and that the resort was not even half full. For example, we ordered samosas & a veggie wrap. The drinks arrived within ten minutes. However the food took 65 minutes! Most days our lunch order took 30-45 minutes which is still unacceptable. I feel for the waiters as they tried hard but the food prep was out of their control and they get the negative feedback. Also, the website reference to a swim up pool bar is inaccurate. They only serve ice cream & milkshakes at the pool even though the bar space is there.

Everything is beautiful! Garden is so green, a lot of palms on the beach. The staff are very polite. The manager Pamela was so helpful in many things, she helped us to rent a motor bike with locals, and had organize a cake for our anniversary as a surprise.

Big difference between high and low tide and sometimes can't see the sea from the hotels beach.

Friendy service and very helpful staff. The staff went out of tgeot way to make sure my knfsnt child was catered to in all ways. The food was also EXCELLENT. Especially the breakfasts.

My husband hurt his foot playing volleyball and we could not pin down a first aid kit, let alone some medical assistance anywhere on the resort. This was disappointing.

Everything was perfect! We previously stayed in another resort in Diani but Pinewood is absolutely wonderful. Staff was professional, friendly, smiling and super helpful. Relations were great and you feel like you are friends or family. Every unit only contains 3 rooms so privacy and silence are respected. Room was fabulously decorated. We spoke to the owner to say that we were impressed by the quality of their staff and that the room was fantastic. Garden and sunbed were super relaxing. Excellent massages in the Amani Spa! Food is delicious! You can enjoy cheese, humous, barbecue, fruits are incredible. In this part of the beach you also have less beach boys so more privacy! You are a bit far than other resorts in Diani but we know that we will come back here if we go back to Diani!

This part of the beach is not the most beautiful but you can walk a bit and enjoy another part.

great facilities and landscaping, lovely pool and selection of bars. food absolutely amazing!

shower in one room we had didn’t work very well but apart from that everything was perfect.
