The property was very close to the train station on a square. It was less than a 10 min flat walk to the historic centre. We walked everywhere and found the location great. The property was spacious and comfortable. Check in and breakfast were at the hotel a few doors away. The porter helped with luggage and there was a direct phone line to the hotel. The kitchen facilities weee good and there was a nearby supermarket that was well stocked.

The apartment shared an entrance with other properties in the building. There was a septic smell around the lift. This smell was not in the apartment but it was unpleasant to walk past. The wifi was terrible due to thick walls but this could easily be fixed by management if they used a wifi extender. The front bedroom could be noisy due to the restaurant below but the back bedrooms were perfect.

Large room with lovely decor. Excellent buffet breakfast. Great location to many of the sites and museums in Florence.

Difficult to find if walking over from train station. Difficult because there is no signage for the hotel. The first place you will see the hotel name is on its doormat. We had to ask the concierge of another hotel where our hotel was. The secret to find it is the address. It is #1 and has a 1 address sign (grey tile) on its front so look for that. Once you find it, it won't be a problem again.

Excellent location; hotel staff were friendly, helpful & attentive; breakfast in the hotel was a plus (we stayed in the apartment they offer, which is in a nearby building).

There was a weird odor in the hallways of the building - like rotten eggs/gas. It wasn’t bad in the apartment , thank goodness.

The staff at the bar was terrible, extremely unpleasant, especially on the New years Eve, we just wanted to eat something quick after a long time journey (as everybody in the half/empty garden), but they told us that we can order only the special menu with a few corses (130 eur per each) and people next to us were eating pizza. We kindly asked it possible to order pizza too, and nice lady sad no problem. But, manager was really rude, and said that’s not possible and we stayed hungry because of their unprofessional behave. Really a shame to be a part of a such a wonderful place as hotel is. Please, learn from your colleagues from the reception and kitchen about the hospitality, they can make you a protocol, they were all outstanding!

We loved just about everything of the hotel!. The location is very good, near to stazione Santa Maria Novella and yet distance enough to be quiet. It is also near to good gelato and restaurants. The staff are very knowledgeable and courteous. Very friendly to make small talks and good recommendations of places of interest and food. The room is big and clean. Spacious for all 3 of us and 3 big luggage to be left open on the floor. Bed are very comfortable too. The breakfast spread is good. The toasted bread was always nicely done too. Highly recommended for anyone gg to Florence. We will definitely look out to book WTB hotel chain in the future.

Not within our 4 nights stay!

Our family of 6 stayed in the apartment. This was a few steps away from the hotel but serviced by the staff. the apartment faces the Piazza Santa Maria Novella and has a nice view. It was not in the tourist heart but just off the centre. This made Florence very walkable without the crush of crowds ( in winter). the apartment was well cleaned by the staff abd cleanliness of the bathrooms were impeccable. the climate control was great too. the front room faces the Piazza but sound insulation was great so the slight noise was not an issue. the back rooms are as quiet as could be if so needed. Short walk to Forno Becagli for some of the best breakfast stuff if you want to bypass the buffet. So was Il Vezzo, a restaurant about 10 minutes walk. One of the best dinners I had in Italy!

better instructions for climate control for people unfamiliar with it. once set up, all was good

Location of the hotel is incredibly good. Just next to the main square. You can easily access by car. You can just leave the car to the valet and they park car for you. Cost is 46 Euro/day. If you want to park your car yourself to a garage nearby, it costs minimum 35 Euro/day. Breakfast was enough, nothing fancy but quality items. Our room was looking to the square. It was very big and with a nice view.

Elevator system is a labyrinth. You should pick the right lift to go to your room.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city. The facilities were very clean and neat. The bed was comfortable. The hotel staff was very helpful. We chose the hotel because it had a fitness room and my husband likes to workout daily. There were plenty of attractions within walking distance and lots of choices of restaurants.

Large rooms with an amazing rooftop view. Plenty of space. Clean.

The staff. Room had a desk for our laptop. Beautiful balls of roses hanging from the high ceiling in the breakfast room, which was itself glass and mirrors and beautiful. The Napoleon room amused us. Hotel should have a pamphlet on its history, why Napoleon, (who we expect the Italians hated), has a roomful of statutes, paintings, photos etc. Also some history of the family whose portraits adorn the first parlor. Our room had a wonderful view of the Piazza Santa Novella and the Basilica Santa Novella. We recommend visiting the Basilica.
