The location is perfect, opposite the most beautiful cafe, right near the station and walking distance to nearly everything you need. The room is huge, plenty of space for all your belongings, the windows open up to see onto the street and lots of natural lighting. The staff were lovely especially the lady that worked the front desk she was so nice

The tv was the size of a photo frame on the other side of the room, we didn’t even bother with it we couldn’t see it. The beds were hard and the pillows were hard, flat, and terrible we slept on our puffer jackets instead. The shower was the worst one I’ve ever experienced it was tiny and awkward and had water pouring out everywhere through the doors

I saw many negative comments about the property but I don’t understand where the negativity is coming from. yes, the hotel is old and the facilities are not spectacular but they are good enough. We were out all day and were coming back to the hotel just to shower and to sleep and we found that the hotel is comfortable enough. AND the location was excellent. Moreover, the staff were very, very friendly! I would recommend the hotel for short stays

We had two small windows in the room and they were quite high so we couldn’t see anything. The shower was a bit dirty as well but other than that the hotel was good for our 2 night stay :)

Location was amazing. You are situated right in the heart of everything. You are so close to the train station which takes you everywhere. So close to all the tourist attractions and shops / bars / restaurant. Everything you want from a holiday is on your doorstep. Staff were great and very helpful with recommendations for tours and also generally helpful. The baggage storage after check out was amazing. Give you an extra day in Florence to see more. We left our bags till 4pm so we’re able to do more sightseeing.

Room was a little tired looking but wouldn’t put me off booking again. The main thing was it was clean.

The location is fantastic, close to the train station and very near the duomo Santa Maria! Very walkable area. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, free WiFi was good and our room was spacious and comfortable. Appreciated the coded front door entry after hours, felt more secure.

Didn’t upset us, but some wallpaper was pealing and the window sills worn. Because of the location there is definitely street noise, but with windows closed not bad at all, location was worth it.

The location was fantastic, and the staff were very friendly. The bedroom was very clean. The shower could have used some cleaning on the bottom, but the water pressure was great and the water got nice and hot. The bed was comfortable.

As mentioned, the shower caulking needed cleaning. The AC doesn’t work very well. Being able to open the window was very helpful. The wallpaper looks like it’s sagging in spots, perhaps because of the humidity there. That is just cosmetic.

Location is fantastic - just a few minutes from the Firenze Santa Marie Novella train station. Major attractions are all within walking distant. There is a coffee bar just across the street for coffee and light breakfast.

I find the room and especially the bathroom very dark due to poor lighting. It would be great if the hotel could provide water kettle in the room for tea/coffee. For those who have mobility challenges, please be aware the elevator only goes up to the 3rd floor, one would have to climb two flights of stairs to get to the top floor (4th) of the hotel.

The hotel was just steps away from Santa Maria Novela, while all restaurants, bars and shops were at walking distance. It was clean with a comfortable bed and great for 2 guests. The staff was very warm and welcoming, they even kindly assisted us with a lost item.

It was rarely quiet, even late at night there would be noise from the street, since many people went through constantly.

Super close to the city center and the train-station. Easy to check-in. Even if we arrived late they accommodated our needs for late check-in. Good cleaning service and very friendly staff.

Since we arrived in april, air-conditioning was prohibited by law and therefore the room got a little bit warm when it was 27 degrees Celsius outside. Due to moist air, some of the wallpapers where peeling of, but that didn't bother us.

It is really near the station, 5-10 minutes walk away if I recall correctly, did not even have to take public transport. It is also really near the river, another 5-10 minutes walk away. The staff were all really really helpful! 10/10 would stay again.

The door at the shower was not "sealed" tight. Hence, our toilet flooded when we showered, but the staff helped us with room service :)!

We stayed 2 nights at Deco Hotel. The staff was so polite and really helpful. Worth to mention the location, it's close to everything and you can walk to almost every main attraction. It was quiet and clean. Overall a good experience:)

The room with a double bed where we stayed had so little lighting. Also the shower cabin is small and tight you can barely move. Overall nothing serious these are personal preferences.
