Suite was very nice, good facilities.

There were numerous problems with the television which required replacing 3 times. The toaster fused and blew the lights. As I cannot use the telephone in the room due to hearing problems I needed to go down to reception to report the problems. On arrival I was asked that my credit card would be required for a deposit I explained that I would probably pay using a different card I was informed that no money would be taken out of my account. To my dismay the full payment for my whole stay was deducted from my account. I have had to query this and have been told my account will be credited which I am still waiting for, having now paid for my stay with a different card.

The hotel's location is very handy for events at Balmoral.

The view from our suite was of the car park. We struggled to work the sofa bed and the legs were buckled. It was very basic facilities. Unfortunately it was not that great and could have done with some little touches such as dressing gowns and slippers but we understand it's now totally self catering. We had to keep our shoes on in the room as it was so cold. There are no restaurants open for breakfast. When we ordered the breakfast basket it was also very basic.

Beautiful well equipped and very spacious room in a suite, fantastic pool which was open really long hours and other sports facilities which we used like table tennis and snooker. The staff were all incredibly friendly and customer focussed. Really enjoyed our two nights in the brasserie too. Great location, very quiet at night,and all in top condition. We loved our stay.

There was nothing we could say anything negative about.

Breakfast was continental style and delivered to the room - understandable with Covid restrictions I loved the suite and facilities

The restaurant food I had on the first evening was poor. I ordered fish and chips - an old favourite. The fish was okay but the batter was very hard with a yellow crust underneath, tasteless. It was really disappointing. I did explain to my waitress, but she was unforthcoming with a response. I had a swim in the hotel pool, which I enjoyed. But I couldn't stay in the water for long as it was too cold.

Beautiful room with a lovely view on the trees, very quiet. Polite and friendly staff. Big spa facilities with pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. We didn’t use the gym/squash court or pool, but they seemed very nice.

They unfortunately did not offer bathrobes nor room service. The kitchen is open only until 20:30, but the staff was very nice to try and accommodate our food order last minute. The restaurant food was quite expensive for the portion size and food taste.

Suit was quiet a distance up and down steps and corridors No cooked breakfast included in price and only available after 10am, was offered continental delivery to room at a time of my choose, but I do like a cooked breakfast when stay away from home and in this rating of hotel

Lovely suite with all the facilities you need, staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and leisure facilities were clean and well kept. Great location for exploring the Highlands.

Lack of formal outdoor space e.g. gardens and seating areas, but this is difficult as the resort is on a hill. Pillows were too soft! 😁

Excellent location, very clean, lovely staff

The gym and pool were under renovation so we couldn’t benefit from them, but we had been warned about it long before the trip so the choice was ours. They didn’t have slippers or a bathrobe in the room, this was a minus but nothing to shade the overall experience.

Spa and pool Facilities, room decor and self catering facilities, location, parking, views and pleasant staff.

Bathroom grout dirty in shower in places. Toaster was not cleaned-pull out tray dirty. Overall the place was clean though but that’s all I would point out, everything else was amazing

The total lack of option to have a cooked breakfast. The last time we stayed we had the offered continental breakfast which ok but we didn't do it again because the plastic waste is not acceptable (juice bottles etc) and we prefer to eat in the dining room. Luckily the village has great options for breakfast, at this time of year anyway....
