Great place to stay, location, parking availability and breakfast all great - Really friendly staff and great service

This is not a complaint as my stay was good, merely an observation - Shower worked fine but the shower cubicle was a dated older small unit that you could hardly swing a cat in but you manage. The bed was tired and I think one of the divan units was broken as the bed wasn't level and the mattress was a little soft for my liking but i managed to stay on one side as it was large enough but ideally could do with renewing in an ideal world, but i still slept ok

Very comfortable room, had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was included in the price and was excellent. We had dinner in the hotel too as there's not a lot of choice in Alford on a Tuesday night. Having said that, the food was great. Best steak I've had in a very long time.

There was a little bit of noise from the bar in our room - but after the bar shut, it was very quiet so not a problem. The Rotary Club were meeting in the restaurant so we had to eat in the bar - its the same menu so that wasn't a problem, though we did move table as there was a large pool table in the middle of the bar, which was very popular.

Very nice friendly staff clean rooms with free WiFi a comfortable bed and a good breakfast in the morning. Shops within walking distance and other attractions close by also very handy for Aberdeen and the hospital without staying in the city would definitely stay again.

A bit noisy earlier in the night with boy racers in their cars being idiots. Not the hotels fault.

Friendly, warm reception. Great room. Spotlessly clean and comfy bed. Great shower. Plenty tea/coffee etc. Good choice for breakfast.. nothing too much trouble. Convenient, well lit parking. EV charge point nearby. Definitely be back. Go!

Nothing. They even had a little laptop size table so I could carry on with work. And a little bag of toiletries. Nice touch.

It was a gorgeous property very nicely decorated

No hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes most properties don’t bother to put hooks up the music I don’t know if it was a live band kept us awake till way past midnight which we didn’t consider when booking was not impressed music doesn’t have to be that loud hate to think what their neighbours put up with

Great location. Nice comfy bed and spacious room (we were pleased to be able to log in to Netflix on a decent sized TV). Lovely friendly staff, very nice bar food and good breakfast too.

Floor in the room was a bit uneven but it's an old building and there's not much you could do about that.

Staff without exception were great-Kiki was funny, Sheila experienced, efficient, friendly and kind, and cooked an excellent Vegetarian breakfast. Although extremely busy at the time, the snack I enjoyed in the garden was very good and swiftly served. Quality toiletries beautifully presented, and a great sleep in a quiet, comfortable room-excellent value, thank you all.

Nothing to complain about here.

Lady who served breakfast was very friendly and excellent at her work. We will definitely use this hotel again.

Our room was lovely only down side was it was above bar which was very lively and didn't close until 1.00 am but saying that we were so tired we did eventually fall asleep long before closing time - this is the only reason we didn't give 10/10

No separate quiet lounge. Bar was lively and slightly noisy. But as it was a beautiful hot night managed to sit out side and have a quiet drink

Located in the middle of the town. Check in was easy, Sheila showed us to our room and explained times for breakfast and dining . Great room with a view out over the beer garden. Plenty of parking available. Had a drink in the bar and had the craic with the locals.

All good for us.
