Nice older building with eclectic art. Nicely decorated renovated rooms with high ceilings. Lots of privacy. Check in was easy. Remote staff was quick to respond to any queries. View from room window was pretty, especially at night or early in the morning. Great water pressure in the shower! Quality bed sheets.

The air conditioning (cooling) didn’t really work so we had to resort to propping our window open both nights. More soaps / lotions would be nice as it advertises that it has these amenities. Only shampoo and hand soap. Rooms were a bit tight & air fresher looked like it hadn’t been changed in a while. Mattress was quite sunken-in on both sides.

Loved it! Such a convenient location if you’re wanting to explore Old Quebec City on foot. Very comfortable bed! I loved the authentic feel of the rooms.

Only downfall was having to get my suitcase up the stairs, which is completely understandable in an old building like this. If you are someone who struggles physically you would need to take this into consideration, but it was well worth the effort! :)

Loved, loved, loved this hotel! Location was absolutely perfect! Exactly what I was looking for, close to everything, we were able to walk everywhere. Easy check in/check out process, room was clean and comfortable, cleaning staff was friendly.

No parking so be prepared to pay for parking. We parked at City hall which is only about an 8 minute walk from the hotel.

More similar to an Airbnb experience than an actual hotel, but the building and rooms are very charming! Everything is clean and comfortable. The rooftop terrace offers a nice private hangout spot in this busy area. Overall would recommend for someone looking for a unique place to stay in the center of the city, who doesn't mind not having hotel services.

You hear people walking around in the rooms above and in the staircase - to be expected in older buildings like this one. It's not super obvious how to retrieve the keys, and the hotel sends a lot of duplicate messages about the reservation but the process is easy enough once you figure it out.

I like the room that looks clean, a lot of nature light and the interior that made me feeling cozy like home, not just a hotel. I was impressed with the service as well. I was arrived earlier that I expected but they let me check in early and leave the bags in the storage room before the room ready to check in.

I didn't like that the water not hot enough to put in the bath tub and plus the power was off in the morning.

- No parking space nearby - The check-in was a little cumbersome for me as I did not receive all the necessary information (codes) - Although once I found the right phone number, the staff was helpful

Spacious, clean, nicely decorated, not too far from the town center. Better than many other motels in the Old City.( I go to the Old City twice a year for last 20 years)

I don't have time to figure out the themostat control. A little bit too warm for me. So I turned on the ceiling fan. I wish there is written instruction and not on the website.

Great price for the location and amenities. Very cool building.

Would be nice to have a reception desk but I understand keeping staffing low lowers the overall cost. Well worth it for this gem of a hotel. Also would like closer parking but that probably isn’t possible given the location.

the view was amazing. You can walk to all the attractions easily. We never moved out our car from the pay parking spot just very close by from the hotel. rooms were beautiful.

i didnt realise this was a self entry hotel. when we reached after a long drive & was so lost on how to get inside. had to sit & check all my emails 1 by 1 if there was a message. maybe the hotel should mention this properly at the time of booking itself, rather then few days before arrival.

The location was just perfect! stay was very comfortable, the room was spacious for the price paid, the amenities were decent. Really cozy place and the virtual staff were really sweet!

Since it was winter, a kettle would have been considered basic and handy. A change of linen every two days would have been nice.
