very lovely garden. unfortunately the weather was very hot. old building without much comfort. great location. quiet but still nearly next to the train station. had no issues getting a parking spot at the hotel each day. garden view room gives great view to the mountains as well. comfy beds. old shower. no aircon. nice breakfast. friendly staff.

shower head was faulty. shower doors hard to close. no mosquito screens in front of windows.

Just a perfect place to stay. The girl on the front desk, was from Hungary and she was brilliant what's a bubbly character she was, and really friendly too. One thing I didn't expect to find in my room was a kettle, well us Brits do love our tea. I went down to get some more tea and milk, all with no drama. The breakfast was the best of all the hotels that I stayed in for this trip, the variety on offer was very very good indeed. I love touring by motorcycle in Switzerland, and it rains a bit as well, imagine my surprise, when I came out one morning to find my sheepskin cover I had ony bike seat, had a giant bin liner over it to keep it dry. That made me laugh, and I thought, what a nice thing to do. Yes I'd stay here again if I'm in the area.

Amazing view from the room, great breakfast and great garden where even raspberry grows (red and yellow - two kinds even). The staff was kind and helped with every question + we left luggage for the whole day without problem. You can even order a jacuzzi for free outside, but we didn't use it. Not cheap at all, but it was really great! Also, great location - less than 2 minutes walk from train station. We had 6 minutes between trains and managed to get back to hotel, pick up our luggage and get back to the station even :) Free transport in the Interlaken area as well.

I think everything was fine. No refrigerator, no coffee machine and no airconditioner, but we knew all that when we booked.

The location of this accomodation is excellent. One can easily reach either Interlaken or other alpine villages or trails by bus or train. There's just a few tourists in Wilderswil and neighbourhood is really calm. The view of the mountains was spectacular from our window and the rose garden (and the jacuzzi:)). Staff was amazing, especially Melinda and Zsófia. They were not only quite informative about activities and sights in the region, but really helpful and considerate with our sudden health issue.

It is an old building, floor makes noises.

I'm a world traveler and this hotel is by far the best I've ever stayed in, not just for the great location and scenic views from the backyard. There was also the thoughtfulness of the front desk staff who helped us with room decorations and upgrades to help us make unforgettable memories when they heard it was my parents' anniversary, and also picked fresh flowers from the back garden and wove bouquets for us, all of which seemed very thoughtful and warm. If I go back to Switzerland, I will definitely return here again. Thank you to the staff for helping me and making the day of my stay a day I will never forget.

Nothing could be better than now

i love the hotel decoration and location. The lobby, garden are beautiful. My room has balcony with village and mountain view. huge breakfast buffet which choices of cheese, ham, chicken breast, breads, yogurt, fruits, eggs, coffee, tea, …. with the beautiful rose garden view. Comfy bed. highly recommended if you plan for interlaken, lauternbrunen, grindelwald the tain station is just 150m from hotel and not busy as interlaken. I love here more. you can travel to interlaken only 15 mins with bus which easy

no lift to 4th floor with my 2 big luggages. Tough! and the floor is grumble so that every step to that area will make some noise.

Wilderswil is an amazing area to stay in. It's like living in a fairy tail. The old house the hotel is in makes you feel like living in a piece of history. The view is amazing, the staff is lovely and the food is good.

We booked a mountain view room and got a garden view suite. While it was a nice big room it's not what we wanted. The staff wasn't able to help us besides putting us in a different room for each day. While it was lovely I was really disappointed. Also, as I've mentioned, the hotel is old. The floor is creaking, we tried to wash clothes in the sink and weren't able to unseal it cause the mechanism wasnt working properly. Also the bed was uncomfortable

This was my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at, not only in Switzerland but pretty much anywhere. The view was remarkable. The gardens around the hotel are stunning. The hotel itself is so charming, and it’s a 2 minute walk from a train station that can take you to Interlaken, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, and more in just minutes. The staff was SO kind and friendly and exceptionally helpful. In other situations on our trip, people seemed annoyed by our questions about how things worked or where to go, but all of the staff here jumped at the opportunity to provide us with tips that made our trip even more pleasant and lovely. They even let us keep our rental car parked outside for a couple of extra hours after check out while we did a short excursion. AND they upgraded us to a room with a stunning view of the mountains because we mentioned it was our 5th wedding anniversary trip. When we arrived they had left delicious Swiss chocolates for us too. Do yourself a favor and book your stay here! I will be dreaming about this magical place forever.

The staff, especially Melinda and Kristina, were very friendly and helpful. We also loved the cozyness of the rooms, the lovely garden and the filling breakfast. We would totally return.

Nothing, really

This property was sensational. It was like a bed and breakfast out of a movie with beautiful gardens and was incredibly quiet. Breakfast was great and the staff were amazing. The spa was just what we needed and they use a booking system each day so that you don’t have to share with other guests which was a nice touch.

The location was fantastic, right near the train station, but you do need to get the train back into the city or out to the mountains.
