The hotel overall was lovely. There is a courtyard in the back that's very peaceful and has tables for takeout dining. Breakfast was hearty, fresh and delicious. The site was clean and the staff were very responsive.

There were two areas that did not meet my expectations. One was we were put in what had to be the smallest "family" room, not the one in the main picture. For four adults, two parents and two grown teenagers, it was simply too small. The second issue was that the "kitchen" in the garden was not appointed in any way to allow for any level of cooking. There is a microwave and that's it. No cutlery, no colander to rinse fruit and veggies, nothing as far as I could tell. It would have been fine if we hadn't had such sticker shock at the price of meals. Poor planning on our part.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Derby. They welcomed me with a warm smile, gave me directions to the necessary places, told me about the nearest bus stops, and even helped me understand the best places to visit. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly at all times. The rooms at Hotel Derby were well-decorated and very clean. They provided a relaxing environment after a long day. The windows were of extremely good quality, so no outside noise came into the room at all. I only realized that the street was noisy when I opened the window. They were also very accommodating about turning up the heating when I was feeling cold and checked on me the next day to ensure that the heating was fine.

The breakfast spread accommodated all diets, however, could have included more vegan options.

the heat pump/aircon wouldn't work for us, we found the room a bit warm and didn't sleep amazingly, we could open the windows, but sometimes the street was a bit noisy. we didn't ask staff about the heat pump, so could have been fixable. there's stairs up to rooms, I don't think there's a lift, just something to be aware of.

AC is a real gem, as it's very rare in Switzerland unfortunately. The summer was extremely hot, impossible to sleep properly without AC, thanks to the host. The room was small but clean, neat and cozy, everything you need for a short stay alone or with a partner. Perfect location nearby to the bus stop should you prefer goin to Wilderswil or further, not that far from Interlaken west train station, so you may walk through the most beautiful part of the village. Breakfast is decent, good value for money, highly appreciated!

The room was little bit small, but it's ok for a short stay and value for money was good.

Air con and bar fridge and other room facilities were good along with ability to park right next door to the hotel. Although being charged an extra 10 Swiss francs per night for it was a bit much given price of accommodation.

Breakfast was very poor. Limited choices and no hot food other than fairly bland poached eggs. Lugging many heavy bags up stairs up a floor is not fun.

Very helpful reception,kitchen and maintenance staff. When ever we needed something they were there with a smile. The rooms were very clean for the size of the accommodation H Highly recommended!

No lift to go to the first floor but the lady at the reception was very kind to take our heavy suitcase to our room

The property was just few minutes walk from Interlaken West, so location was perfect. There's not much of breakfast options, it was pretty basic. I loved my room, it has the view of the streets and could see the mountains!

Not sound-proof, you can hear footsteps outside the room.

The hotel was a great stay for us. The staff was excellent and very accommodating and so nice. We enjoyed their breakfast and the setup was done well and kept restocked. The rooms were a decent size and the bunk beds in our quad room were just as comfortable as the regular beds. The plushy comforters and multiple large pillows were a huge bonus. Everything was well kept and clean. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a stay in Interlaken.

If I had to say one thing that wasn't excellent, it was the size of the showers and the bathroom. Although this is typical in Europe, it was still a bit tight. However, the bathroom was clean and plenty of towels were given.

Location was great, few minutes walking to the center of activities and restaurants, so close to both lakes and to the train stations. Room was not big but smartly organized to fit all stuff in without having any issues, the team in the hotel are super friendly and supportive.

Nothing mainly, but may be different options in the breakfast would be a big plus. still the breakfast options are ok but could add more variants. other than that the stay in his hotel is highly recommended to enjoy small trip to Interlaken
