Great location near the port. Terrific hotel next door for dinner. Freshly cooked breakfast.

This is a small issue, but I feel a duty to mention it…. Whilst checkout was at 11am we felt some implied pressure to leave the room, if not the premises, as soon as breakfast was over at about 9.30. Maybe I am a little too sensitive but I am still recovering from an illness and really needed a little more rest this morning. I went back to sleep for an hour actually. I am 73 and my husband is 75. He recently had major surgery. We were not catching our ferry till noon. We were not farewelled from the house with any warmth when we left just prior to 11. Perhaps the departure would be better set at 10 if 11 creates inconvenience for the business owner. He had been very pleasant up to that point.

Once again my adult daughter and I enjoyed our stay in the family room (two beds). We had not been here since before the pandemic and were pleased to find the restroom completely remodeled and updated floor to ceiling. (it now has a shower!) I also think the bedroom has been updated too. Everything was perfectly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The proprietor was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the nautical themed decor. The sitting areas were comfortable. The b&b is a very short walk from the pier and shopping. The outstanding pub, Joe Watty’s, is right next door. It’s an excellent option for lunch and dinner.

We loved everything about our stay at Clai Ban. Bartley and Porter are great hosts, the breakfast was very good, room very big and clean, bathroom the same. We didn’t really use the wifi too much but it was pretty fast. The location is perfect because it’s only 500mt from the port and 100mt from the best pub in Inishmore but still very quiet.

Bartley & Marion are excellent hosts. We greatly enjoyed our stay here, with comfortable beds, a clean room, a quiet house and showers with pressure (exceptional enough in Ireland, so we think it needs to be highlighted!). Breakfast is included and generous. Bartley is very kind and made us feel right at home. We warmly recommand this lovely place.

The B&B is very cozy and inviting. Our room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The location of the B&B was great with Joe Watty’s restaurant and bar right next door. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and hearty! Gave us enough energy to cycle for 6hrs straight! The hosts are so kind and helpful. They provided us with a map and suggestions on routes to make the most of our time there. I would highly recommend this comfortable and warm B&B.

I had a quiet, clean room with a nice little sea view. Modern bathroom. The host is very nice and welcoming. I walked a round the Island a lot, and this was a good base for exploring from. All the restaurants in town are within walking distance.

The bed is a bit too soft for my liking. The tap water is not potable, but there is a kettle in the room to boil the water and Spar, the supermarket for the Island is 5 mins away.

Excellent breakfast and a very warm welcome. Beds were extremely comfy and a good distance down into kilronan, a pub right next door and the spar shop Just down the road. Lovely quiet location and easy to get to on foot from the boat. Breakfast was fantastic and set us up for the day, plenty on offer and you certainly won't go hungry. Front door is always unlocked and you can come and go as you please. Rooms were a good size and ideal for what we wanted. Highly reccomend and if we return to the aran islands post baby we will look to return so we can fully see and appreciate the island.

I found the shower a tad small (maybe due to being 8 month's pregnant) but other than that the place was great. Couldn't fault anything as was good value for money and in a great location. The only thing we found, which wasn't even linked to the accommodation was that 2 of the 3 places to eat on the Monday and Tuesday were unfortunately closed.

The very first thing we encountered when we arrived was the wonderful hospitality of our hosts. From the moment we walked through the door they made sure we were well taken care of! The place was spotless and the room was VERY comfortable. The morning of our departure we had to leave earlier than anticipated and the hosts STILL made sure we were catered to prior to leaving. It felt like we were staying with old family friends! As for the location, it worked perfectly for us. It was a short walk away from the large groups of people and a very nice pub, Joe Watty’s is right next door, with good food and drink. I would ABSOLUTELY stay there again! THANK YOU!!!

The place it’s cosy and nice. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Located near a pub and very close to Kilronan. The owner was kind enough to do us the favor of preparing the breakfast before 8:30 am because we had to leave early to get the ferry back to the mainland. Absolutely recommended.

Bartley's Irish breakfast was excellent. On the morning of my departure for the 8:15 am ferry, he kindly made me a lovely omelet before the B&B's breakfast began. Great hospitality, charm, and walking distance from the best pub/restaurant on the island, Joe Watty's. Thank you!
