Our stay was a delight overall. The breakfast provided was truly wonderful, and the staff were exceptionally family-friendly and kind throughout our stay. The hotel's proximity to various attractions made it a convenient choice, with easy access via bus or train. I would also say this was a very clean hotel which is something anyone traveling truly values.
While there were many positive aspects of our stay, we did encounter a couple of drawbacks. Firstly, the room size felt cramped, especially when accommodating a baby cot. This led to some challenges in moving around within the room. Perhaps without the need for the cot, the room would feel less constrained and more enjoyable, perfect for a party of two. Additionally, we observed that the security of our room door appeared inadequate. We had to exert considerable force on the door to ensure it was properly shut, as the lock seemed outdated, raising concerns about the safety of our belongings. Overall, our stay was pleasant, but improvements to door security would have certainly elevated our experience.

Quiet area. Room was clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night for a layover. We chose this hotel for it's location and it had a free breakfast which offered English breakfast and continental breakfast. This was really nice! The gentleman who checked us in late when we arrived was very helpful! Told us we could get an Uber for cheaper than a taxi, which we did. We also were able to walk down the street to an Arab restaurant at midnight to grab a bite to eat. It was delicious and maybe a bit sketchy as it appeared to have some nighttime "workers" hanging out on the corners down the road from us. Made us a little nervous when walking past them.
I thought there was a free airport/hotel transfer from Heathrow. There wasn't. I felt this was misleading. I chose this hotel for that reason and paid extra for it - then ended up paying an extra 160 pounds for taxi to/from this hotel. That turned out to be pretty expensive for us. Wouldn't stay here again for that reason. Not a good value for us in hindsight. London is expensive. I didn't see an AC unit in our room, so had to sleep with the window open. No screens, but didn't have an issue with bugs coming in, so maybe this isn't an issue at all. The room was muggy without the window open though.

At check moved to the KINGSWAY PARK HOTEL a few doors down from the Admiral , similar building, same ownership. Was fine, friendly staff, little single room on top floor quiet and clean and comfortable'
Shower compartment in room was small with awkward access but shower worked OK. In this old building there is no lift (as I knew beforehand) but stairs are quite steep and narrow and could be a problem for people with mobility issues

Excellent location easy walk to train/underground
No lift, wouldn't recommend if you have difficulty climbing stairs, 4 flights to our room very difficult getting suitcases up and down

Great location close to the train and underground rail, close to shops and restaurants. The room was small, however, we did get an upgrade and appreciated a bit extra space. English breakfast was freshly made and served to your table. The area was quiet and we felt safe walking at night time.
No lift, but we only had to go down one flight of stairs with our suitcases. Bathroom shower was small and curtain did not fully cover the opening, so some water escaped onto the floor. Pillow choices were not great, but they were okay.

All the staff were amazing. So friendly and always available to help. The English breakfast was for sure one of the best experiences there. Recommend it.

The access to street parking with reservation.
The wardrobe was not functional. The space would be better used with shelving and hooks, or just remove the wardrobe doors.

The full breakfast was great - we were expecting a continental breakfast. The location was perfect as we were near 3 tube lines as well as Paddington train station with express trains to Heathrow airport. The room was kept clean every day. Desk staff was very helpful and friendly.
The room was very tight. Lots of stairs up to the room. The hot water ran out in the morning on occasion. There is no air conditioning, just a standing fan. We were there in Sept. and it was hot. Windows open though.

The staff are lovely and friendly and helpful. I mentioned it was my birthday and they went out of their way to make it special, leaving a card, balloons and a bottle in the room for no additional costs!! Perfect location for winter wonderland and easy to travel or walk to the other places :) wonderful stay will definitely be returning! Parking was also a bonus and a great price for the day, they even let us park a little longer for no extra charge. This place really know how to deliver good customer service! The breakfast was also delicious, so much better than expected in every way! Would recommend!
Nothing really it's perfect for the price

On arrival we were given an upgrade because it we were in London for my daughter's 18th birthday. I had asked at time of booking if its possible for a birthday banner to be put up in room but they had actually blown up ballons! Great surprise! Kevin at reception was very kind and friendly too. Very helpful! Lovely breakfast served by a lovely kind lady who's name we didn't get unfortunately. Plenty of choice too. Comfortable room on ground floor with access to a little courtyard which would be lovely to sit out in the summer time.
The only thing was our TV signal would be lost frequently but not important. We were able to leave bags in reception after checkout until we were ready but I feel a more secure area would be better if possible.
