The breakfast was good, the staff nice, and they were very accommodating in providing a fridge in the room when I said I needed one to store baby food and breast milk, heating worked fine

They’ve put the family rooms at the back end of the hotel and to get to the rooms you need to go up and down a flight of stairs. They’ve put a demographic who would be lugging around more suitcases and heavy prams to a place more difficult to get to. We had to carry our pram up and down every time we left the room. When we asked for a different room we got told it was where the family rooms are and there was nothing we could do. Fair enough that the bigger, family rooms are there but at least make it more accessible. Have a ramp or something. Steam room and jacuzzi not working and nowhere in the hotel info when booking was this made known

When we booked in they gave us a very small double room. We slept there the first night but found it very hot and and small so went to reception and asked to be moved. A lovely young lady names Siobhan said she would try and find us another room. We went and had breakfast and went back to see her and she had found us a lovely large room. She was very helpful. I asked to have some softer pillows and the housekeep bought them straight away. We eat in the restaurant one evening and the food was very nice. We can't fault the staff or the cleanliness. Nothing was to mush trouble. We stayed here many years ago and it really has improved 100 %. We will differently stay here again. Well done

Friendly, helpful, and professional staff. They were accommodating to change our room to one closer to the lift because the allocated ground floor room was too long a walk for my 86 year old aunt. Cleaners paid attention to detail and full of smiles. Breakfast - good range and was yummy! The hotel was well presented and had a great ambience. The location felt safe, and parking was a bonus along with walking distance access to some shops and a gym. Short drive or Uber trip to explore the sights of Rochester. This hotel was a pleasant surprise, and I'll be back.

Due to the room change, we got a room that faced the road and buildings. Not as quiet as I would have preferred it. Nonetheless, it worked for the short time we spent there.

We were in Chatham for a family funeral. The staff helping us organise this during the lead up to the day were very helpful and attentive. On arrival staff were keen to show us our event space and check all was suitable. Our guests were looked after on arrival and throughout the day and there was always someone on hand to help. The food we had ordered was of a very high standard and well presented. We stayed overnight and our room was comfortable and quiet with a well planned bathroom and shower. . We had a good breakfast and checkout was easy. We cannot fault anything. Thank you to all the staff.

Not having enough time for a swim this time.

Travelling as a lone female in a new area for work I felt extremely safe from the moment I checked in. The staff were all very professional approachable warm and friendly, made me feel like I was a regular guest at the hotel.

As a lone female having to leave early and I appreciate it’s dark mornings and darker evenings earlier and for longer it may have felt safe if I had a car park space much closer to the entrance of the hotel especially as I checked out at 530am felt apprehensive walking to my car in the dark. Maybe have the car park lit better or have lights around the path.for easier walk way

We booked a stay for my sister's 30th birthday. After letting staff know this before arrival we entered our room to find balloons, a banner and a voucher for a drink at the bar and we were upgraded to a more suitable room. The staff were brilliant, especially the young lady who checked us in, unfortunately we can't remember her name. The room was clean and modern, the breakfast choice was very good and we were able to manage hot porridge and pancakes on request with the continental.

Unfortunately as a group of 3 we did have a sofa bed. It wasn't the most comfortable and I did have to sleep on top of the duvet. Maybe that's just personal preference but it wasn't the best bed.

Swimming pool and facilities were great to have. Upgraded room had loads of space, big comfy bed, large walk in shower and fridge in the room is always a bonus to keep drinks cool. Price for all of that was incredibly good value.

Breakfast included in the price would’ve been the added bonus. Was a Xmas party congregating in the lobby on check in. Was very loud and rowdy. No fault of the hotel and when they went into the conference hall for their party the noise was minimal and did not disturb our stay in any way.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was a good size, clean,the service was ok.

We didn't like the mattresses of our bed and sofa bed (too soft and uncomfortable) and pillows that were the opposite -too firm. we woke up with a stiff neck. Another thing that was not nice, was the family changing room at the pool: no heating, no electricity and we were supposed to change clothes in there (imagine doing all this coming out of the pool with a 2 year old.. )Unacceptable! One member of the staff was quite rude as well, admiting that she knows that is not quite in good condition, but it is nothing that she can do..

Really good value for money .food was amazing great 3 course dinner and a super tasty full English in the morning . Bed was comfy and room was clean .could of done with a few more tea and coffees but other than that was great. The staff were all super lovely the receptionist was very welcoming ,all the dining staff were really nice and friendly too . Even cleaning staff were really friendly . We really enjoyed our stay.

Could hear a little traffic but didn't affect sleep . A few more coffees and tea in the room would be nice

Staff were great. Food was very good. Didn't get to use leisure facilities but will be going back.

We had a few issues when there, but they went above and beyond to sort it out. We had a call when we were leaving home to say pool and jacuzzi was out of action. The first night wasn't great due to people talking right outside our room so we spoke to reception in the morning and they moved us for the second night where we had a perfect night.
