The room is spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast buffet selections were okay for UK standards. The best part is that it's right in the city. It is very convenient to move around. Halal food just around the corner. The front desk people are not overly friendly, but they are nice and helpful. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

They did the housekeeping very late in the afternoon around 3pm-4pm. If you are in the room, they will not clean properly they will just ask what we want from them. The buffet selections are always the same. 7 days of eating the same food, no creativity when it comes to food.

A great hotel and perfect location for being right in the middle of all the city has to offer. The decor in the bar and lobby is very pleasant and to a high standard. Breakfast has a great selection and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and have all necessary amenities. A good aspect is the parking at Q-park right behind the hotel; ensure you pre-book in order to receive a good hotel discount otherwise its tricky to apply retrospectively. Overall a great stay in Leeds.

Check in gets quite busy as soon as the rooms are available and with only 1 member of staff on reception at that time it took a little while to check in. My advice is to chill in the bar and avoid the queue. Some of the rooms do not have external windows as there is a central atrium to the place plus some overlook the inside of the shopping centre. I don't think this is bad at all but if you want a view then I would ask to be in one of the outer rooms.

Location Front of house staff

I have pictures of all the points raised below if you require them There was an adhesive pad placed under the bed which was covered in a large amount of insects Also under the bed was earplugs left from a previous guest The paintwork within the room was in a poor sate with several areas down to bare wood The carpet to the right hand side of the bed had a large patch which was Dow to backing material The phone didn’t work due to the phone lead pushed into the empty hole in the wall The toilet seat was loose The fittings around the bath were broken The housekeeping in the bathroom was below standard

Spacious hotel, plenty of room to socialise. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure. Great hot water. Working safe that was big enough for valuables. Space to hang clothing. Working iron and decent ironing board. Great breakfasts - liked the way the kitchen sent out just enough supplies so that the food didn’t dry out under the heat lamps.

The time to check in - only 3 desks at reception and check-in took far longer than necessary. Valuable space in our room was taken up by a desk situated around a pillar. We did not come to the hotel to work. We only had one towel apiece and shared a dressing gown and hand towel!

The hotel is in a great location for the Leeds Direct Arena and we have stayed several times. We parked in the Light car park at a discounted rate with a code from the hotel. The room was very spacious and most of the staff were very friendly.

On previous visits, our room had an outside window, however on this occasion our room was interior and overlooked the Light complex and therefore actually didn’t have any natural light. If we had been staying for any more than one night, I would have asked to change rooms. We arrived early and left our luggage at the hotel, however were told quite abrubtly that we were early which obviously we were aware of, and were made to feel that this was, a bit of an issue. Other than this, however the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Room 307 (superior room).I loved the large room size, it was beautifully decorated and the lighting in room was beautiful. The views out of the hotel room were over a large square and the library and town hall so excellent. Windows were adequately double glazed so room was lovely and quiet, even hallway sound was limited. Air con in room was powerful yet calm enough to sleep under at night. Staff were helpful in finding me a room slightly earlier due to health issues that day. Location is awesome being central.

Some reception staff were quite overly defensive about early check in before 3pm, understandable due to large volume of requests perhaps, but anything said with a smile in the right way can be understood and accepted easier by customers than a blanket defensive no, which looking at many faces in front of me turning around looking so disappointed, said more about the way things were said to them, than the answer. I was very ill that day, so waited till that one staff went on break and went to another member of staff who seeing I was ill, took my mobile number at least to call me if rooms came up so I could rest nearby. I'd never experienced such tension over early check in, otherwise I would have stayed longer at my previous location.

Good city location and perfect for the Leeds general infirmary, as I had a very early appointment. Room was very well appointed and the double glazing and window shutters were excellent additions for a city location. The Q light car park is adjacent, although larger street signage would be very beneficial for the tourists. The receptionist was very happy, courteous and her greeting alone was an excellent first experience of Radisson hotels. We would definitely stay again.

The shower was adequate but not very powerful but this is true of lots of hotels.

Clean, quiet, modern, comfortable, great location, room was really nice and well laid out

Breakfast was terrible...ran out of milk, bacon, sausages ...and took nearly half an hour to replenish. It was not busy. Quality not great. Raised with the manager, who said she was new and would be sorting, but I can see from reviews this is not a new issue. Only reason we didn't ask for our money back was we did get to eat a breakfast. At the price we paid for the breakfast and the cost of the room, it was very disappointing and let the hotel down. Everything else was great, although check in was pretty slow, especially as we had already checked in online.

Really nice hotel in a great spot, we were off to the arena for a concert so this was perfect. Room was tidy and we were given an upgrade as our room wasn't ready after check in time, quickly resolved! We had a few drinks there and the bar is a nice area to sit in.

The only criticism would be breakfast, really good choices but we had to wait 20 or so minutes for the hot food with no information. It starts at 7 and we were there about 7.15, the chef didn't say a word to us as we were waiting for the hot food so we weren't sure how long it would be. I don't mind waiting but it's nice to be informed.

I would like to commend Eliana on Reception. She was aware I was staying as I was receiving treatment at the hospital - she was exceptionally helpful and considerate of my needs. I wanted to give her a tip, but she declined saying that was not possible. instead I hope she gets due recognition through this feedback.

The room service options didn’t match the menu. My first choice was not available and components of my second choice were not provided - however, the staff acknowledged this and did no charge me.
