Hotel was easy to find, on the main route into Preston. Amble free parking, large Sainsbury's over the road with a petrol station. Near large outlet with a cinema and other shops. Lovely friendly staff, large room which was very clean as was the bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, with plenty of choice including biscuits. Next door was a pub where you could get a fair breakfast for £4:99, check out staff were just as friendly as check in.

We didn't realise we hadn't locked the door to our room due to the door being opened by a key. Felt a bit old fashioned.

The location is ideal. It is close to the major road networks, supermarkets and there is a pub/restaurant on the site. That said the rooms are quiet and afford a good night's sleep. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel used to be a Premier Inn and still retains the same style. The car park is large. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is an excellent stay for a very good price. This is the third time I have stayed here as a solo female traveller and always feel very secure here.

There is nothing that I didn't like about my stay here.

The staff were exceptionally good, location was good for me, the room was comfortable, quiet and clean, though little things could do with updating, such as the light in the bathroom where it’s dropped one side. Apart from that, I’d recommend staying there to others and for the price, it’s very good value for money

I think it’s more the look of the building that needs uplifting, front main doors could be refurbished or painted and generally a good power wash to masonry.

I like comfortable bed, quiet rooms, shower was excellent, powerful and heat very well controlled.

Staff all are very good and welcoming , except of one of staff, when my alarm did not go off, after night shift I did, she knocked and woke me up in bad tone, like telling me off at 11:15 AM.I tried to explained as well, what happened, but within 15 minutes I managed to vacate the room. I did not see a female staff. anyhow thanks for her to wake me up. I advised if some miss happening, should be polite enough to give me message

Good location for the purposes of our trip - an overnight stop off to break up our journey to Scotland. Room nice size and reasonably well furnished with all the usual facilities would expect. Saw that it was an old Premier Inn on one review when booking and yep, that's readily apparent in the room layout and some of the décor but that's no bad thing.

Some of the fixtures and fittings are looking a bit tired but overall no complaints.

Staff were very nice and rooms were clean. We slept very well, comfortable bed and very little noise. There is no restaurant on site, but a Hungry Horse a couple of metres away (we didn't eat there, so we dont know what it was like). We did have breakfast at Sainsburys, which is about 50 metres away. That was nice! We were given an 'accessible' room, even though we didn't need it or request it. I'm not disabled, so not an expert, but it seemed there were enough of hand rails and alarm cords. Local taxis seemed good value for money

We couldn't fault our stay there, but as I put in the 'like' section, we had an accessible room, but the shower was over the bath, and the beds would have been too low for anyone with mobility problems. perhaps anyone asking for an accessible room would get a different bed and bathroom. Not the fault of Purple Rooms, but there isn't a lot to do in the immediate area. so you will need a car/taxi to get around When I looked up local hotels on Gooogle maps, Purple Rooms were using the same photo as the Premier Inn just across the road. Because of this, I thought I was booking a room at Premier Inn, through a booking agent called 'Purple Rooms' My mistake, and not an issue as it turned out, but a bit 'cheeky'

everything was perfect, this was our second stay in about a week or just over, we came down for my daughter in laws funeral, the tv worked for normal channels (i couldn;t get it to work on our first stay, but we signed into Netflix, so that was ok) the staff were really helpful and very polite but also funny.

Just a bit of outside noise, i am a smoker but don't make any noise while i am outside after 5pm out of respect for other customers. That would not put me off from booking again,

Comfortable bed, nice and spacious room with a good size TV and Netflix. Great location with supermarkets within walking distance. Generally clean on the whole.

Some areas need a good dusting and/or scrubbing down e.g. the bath tub - visible staining that could easily be removed with some bleach and a brush. No wall plugs near bed for some weird reason, had to leave phone charging next to TV. Ventilation isn't great so rooms can get hot on warmer nights but staff were happy to provide a fan on request.

The room had a sofa bed that my wife particularly found useful at times. The bed was comfortable and all was expected for the type of accommodation. Value for money compared to other properties about. There were plenty of venues for breakfast nearby - adjacent pub was good if you were willing to wait till 9am otherwise Sainsbury's cafe and Burger King were nearby.

The height of the bed was a problem for my wife - she could have done with a small step to make it easier to get in. The bath was also quite high and there were no grab rails to help.

I loved the hotel room10 stsrs👍👌 The staff wereso welcomin i dident want to leave,i asked if i could be a permanent resident,im definatley coming back in Febuary to stay for a couple of months,👌👍 I have never experienced such a high level of sevice or top quaility in my experiences of hotel life,im voming back herr again,its my home,i love it,i didnot want to leave as every area around the hotel is so convieneantly locates,Lake district,Yotkshire dales,Blackpool,and many other places,also the shoppig malls areust a alk away,im amazed,im speechless in the brdt possiblr way,the prices per room per night spot on,this plave is paradise,ROCK ON TOMMY👍👌🌟💎❤,LOVE IT COMING BACK FOR MORE.
