Property was in a perfect location, right next to Usher Hall (which we were visiting during our trip). Not too far from the train station either. Lovely view of the castle from the front door. Access to the property was a doddle thanks to the clear instructions from the host! Well equipped with toiletries, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, biscuits and milk sachets. Luggage storage was very useful on our last day, door locked with a code to access so it was secure as well.

The bed wasn’t an actual double (two single mattresses with a double bed sheet) but still comfortable enough. Shower could be nicer but that’s just me being extra picky! There was also a constant knocking noise from an adjacent property during our stay but that is obviously out of the host’s control and I doubt that is always the case.

This is outstanding accommodation in the very heart of the city. Very close proximity to theatres, restaurants and places fo interest. It's also right ion the main bus route from a Park & Ride facility on the west of the city where overnight parking is free of charge - it really could not be in a better location! The facilities are outstanding, modern, clean and very high-end. Overall, it would be very difficult to find anywhere better for a city stay.

If I was being exceptionally critical, there is some mould showing in the shower tray in the bathroom but it's minor and certainly not an issue. The cause is almost certainly as a result of clients failing to switch on the extractor fan.

We really enjoyed the location, since it allowed us to see everything by foot and it was also a very calm street. We stayed on the Flat 2, which had a view of the inside garden which is lovely. The access is very easy, which is through a pass code that is given to you. You also have a place to store your luggage in case you need it. The cookies that were provided also were a very sweet touch.

There wasn't anything big that we didn't like, just some details. Since we got some rain and we were walking, I think it would be nice to have a rubber mat as soon as you walk in the flat and a place to store your shoes, because then the carpet gets dirty. The other thing is in the bathroom, it would be nice if there was a place to hang clothes for when you go to the shower. Also, the bed might be a bit short for someone who's a bit taller.

I booked this apartment as I was attending a show at the Usher Hall with my mum. The apartment and entrance are lovely 😍 very clean and decorated so nice!! Perfect location literally minutes from shops pubs restaurants as well as the Usher Hall. We ate at a Chinese Buffet up at the top of Street and would highly recommend 😋 There is no on street parking directly outside as its permit holders only but there are two NCP car parks either end of the street (I used the Grindlay Street one as cheaper) Communication from the host was always prompt and very helpful when I did have questions. I would highly recommend this apartment and would happily stay again 😁

Excellent location very close to the old town. Nice and quiet too. Lovely decor and overlooking a pretty garden.

Everything was lovely and we’re happy we chose to stay there, but there were two tiny niggles. There is a blind in the bedroom, but it would’ve been good to have curtains as well for added privacy, especially during the daytime when you don’t want anyone seeing into the bedroom but also don’t want to block out the sunlight. Also a little shelf in the shower would be great.

This was my first time staying in a location that wasn't a hotel, and I was very nervous about the booking. I had my expectations blown away, though, and I am very happy about the decision. Lovely location right next to the castle and a carpark. The room was better than I expected, and for the price, it was beyond perfect. Great bathroom and kitchen. Real big bed. Me and my gf had a great stay and truth be told it was 100% better than the hotels my family stayed at for the wedding with a much more reasonable price. I have to return back to Edinburgh more frequently now. Now we have a Scotsmen in the family, and I hope to use this room on my future trips. I really recommend this over the other hotels in the area. Sadly I do not have any photos to upload. I took a video while I stayed but can't upload it.

Bit of noise in the morning from the shutter gate across the road, but it's not really an issue. And the blinds need a better repair job. To be fair, it didn't really affect my opinion on the room.

The check in process was really good with a code being given prior to our stay. There was a luggage room which was accessed with the same code and could be used for dropping the bags off before/after our stay. The apartment was of a very good standard and great value for money. My partner and I stayed for a night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The location is great with Princes street and most other tourist attractions within 15mins walk.

Absolutely loved the location. It was perfect! Loved looking out to the back yard which was very peaceful.

I would have liked a luggage rack to put my suitcases on. I don’t usually like to unpack all my clothes. I think the hot water controls could be labeled because it looks nothing like the picture in the book. And a little shower caddy or something to put my shampoos on inside the shower would have been great!

The place is very spacious and clean. It's conveniently located within a short walk from the Grassmarket. The area is very quiet, and the place itself is comfortable and well equipped. We had a very pleasant stay.

There're very comprehensive instructions on how to operate the appliances, which include getting the hot water to work. Although they were helpful, we found ourselves in a hurry on our last day and couldn't make the time to get the hot water working, so just keep that in mind before checking out.

Great location and very quiet. I emailed our host with a a few questions and received a response straight away! It’s a short stroll up the hill to the Royal Mile and is just around the corner from Grassmarket.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Lovely flat with so many nice touches - beautiful bathroom and big shower. The host provided milk, hot cocoa, tea, coffee and biscuits in the kitchen which were most welcome!
