I've used the hotel many times and they met my standards as usual, and was very happy to have a decent queen sized bed. My request for a high floor was as closely worked with as possible. The breakfast was cooked well and generally happy with the view and hotel.

A few things with the room let down the rating. The bathroom door didn't quite close properly easily and probably needed it's runners greasing and cleaning down. You had to shove it shut. The table could do with a mirror, as only having one mirror in the main room was a downside for my partner as she couldn't sit to do her makeup. And I reported a bulb directly above the bed on Thursday of my stay that it was flickering back and forth, was told it would be looked at Friday during the day but when I returned it still flickered. Unsure if the bulb replaced was an issue or if it was a wiring problem, but this meant we couldn't use the main light due to this flicker.

The location of the hotel is ideal for those wishing to spend time visiting Birmingham City Centre or attending an event at the nearby Indoor Arena which is only 10 mins walk away from the hotel. The hotel has an entrance on Broad Street or you can drive your car up to their private car park and then take the lift from there up one floor to the reception area. The bar and dining areas are modern as are the rooms which are similarly modern with all facilities required for a one or more nights stay there. The breakfast was excellent with multi choice of hot and cold items with staff friendly and helpful at all times. The overnight car parking prices were very reasonable and we would definitely stop here again when visiting Birmingham.

There is nothing to dislike about this hotel in my opinion, the prices are reasonable and if you require further supplies for room facilities they are readily available.

The Room was spacious, clean & comfortable (we had a wheelchair accessible room) The staff were all very friendly The location was good for the Utilita Arena & walk in to the city centre.

We kept having to get extra tea, coffee & sugar from reception as there was never enough for us in the room. Breakfast was so busy on Sunday, we ended up not having any as the queue for anything cooked was ridiculous. The fire alarm went off at 2am on Sunday morning which resulted in us standing out in the wind & rain for over 30 minutes. I have to say, I thought this situation wasn't handled well at all. Not 1 member of staff came outside to let us know what was happening at all. I dread to think what would have happened if there was a real fire! The hotel is in a lively location so we could here the music late into the night even from the 11th floor.

Staff were extremely accommodating. All very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our group was given complementary Prosecco to celebrate our reunion. Breakfast was very good. Room was spotless, shower great. Location was very good for getting to the centre and places we wanted to visit plus buses and the tram very good for travel across the city and passed right outside the hotel. We had dinner in the hotel our 2nd night and it was very good

The dining area was rather like a works cafeteria. Unfortunately there is no lounge area where we could relax comfortably and have a drink in the evening

Breakfast was buffet style. Soya milk was available for breakfast as well as cows milk. I didn’t have to ask. We could ask for vegan sausages if we wanted them. They kept the pork away from the vegan food. There was different types of teas and coffees at breakfast . Children making waffles in the waffle machine while being supervised by their parents. There were cereals, fruit available to add to yogurt. Cupcakes croissants, brown & white bread. Jams & chocolate spread .The lift didn’t work without the card for your room and the card also turned the electricity on in the room. The room was nice. It had an. Armchair with a stool and a computer chair. The bathroom door was also the wardrobe door on a sliding door. It had the best frosted glass in it that I have ever seen. The shower worked perfectly. It was the right temperature. We did not need to adjust it. I loved the pillows on the bed. Yet we’re plump,squishy and soft. The bed was firm but comfortable.

The loud music I could hear from “Heidi’s Bier Bar”even though the windows in my room were fixed windows and couldn’t open. It was awful. 3 nights on the trot . 11pm till 4am. They seemed to turn up the music about 12 o’clock.

Location to city center, varied breakfast options including vegetarian on request. Friendly, accommodating and attentive staff. Clean and comfortable room accommodation. Clean communal areas. Plenty of lifts to all floors with card access security.

Noise from room extractor that couldn’t be switched off. Hotel WiFi needs resetting (floor 12) to allow guests own tv devices to be used as Amazon Firestick and alternative android tv devices both failed to log on. iPhones had no issue. Advised reception who offered to come to room that we declined as we were leaving for evening meal. TV in our room dated not a smart tv. Information emailed regarding location of car park needs to explain there is a clear sign at entrance for Hotel access as there is another car park in same street that shares the post code. Email should specifically state the name of the car park not to enter.

Second time we've stayed here & just as good as last time. Lovely clean rooms & everything you need for your stay , shower gel , hand wash , hand lotion , shampoo , conditioner & tissues. There was also a hairdryer & ironing board & iron. Nice hospitality tray , but no decaf coffee , so hubby popped down to reception & they found me some. All the staff really helpful.

The only problem we had was in our accessible bathroom , when we had a shower it flooded the bathroom , I called down to reception & they said they'd see if they could find someone. No one came so I used a bath towel to get the worse up so I wouldn't slip over. We reported it when we checked out & they were going to get someone to look at it.

Thank you, Hampton by Hilton! The staff who welcomed us during our late check-in were fantastic, making the process seamless and stress-free. The hotel's location was ideal, conveniently close to the train that quickly takes you into town and back to Sea Life. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond—one lovely lady even offered me a takeaway box so I could bring food back to the room while the kids were still sleeping. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable.

I was disappointed with the parking situation, as the price changed multiple times—before booking, during the booking process, and then again upon arriving onsite. Clear communication about such changes is essential and needs improvement.

spacious room, comfortable beds, up on the 13th floor it was very quiet, bathroom was clean with a good shower. breakfast was plenty, great selection. I was there early so it wasn’t crowded. thank you for letting me check in early. I was knackered from the flight and drenched, so when I asked if an earlier checkin was possible the nice lady at reception checked and then handed me my room keys with a smile. great customer service! 😇

no fresh air because you cannot open windows. A/C works fine but it’s not a replacement for fresh air

Room was lovely cleaning. Housekeeper lady was lovely (floor11) Lovely various selections of breakfasts, right on the doorstep of various restaurants, pubs & nightclubs. Cinema just up the road, easy to get tram into Birmingham town. The car park is private & you can pay through the hotel easier doable!

Fire alarm at 4am. We didn't see any staff when leaving the room all the way downstairs to outside. We've been outside for approx 15mins, there's drunk people were around which was not good as we had 2 young children with us. So everyone went inside and we didn't see any staff come out inform us ok to go in? So curious went to the reception and there was staffs there. It was a false alarm as someone was smoking in the bedroom. I wish someone would come down and say that 15mins earlier so children won't see drunk & puke on the stairs......
