Outstanding facilities, service and especially the decor. Eg Room 7 shower room tiling is mind blowingly good. Then there’s the delicious food, like the gluten free breakfast, best we’ve ever had. Finally, the singing chef who’s very entertaining.
It wasn’t possible to stay for longer!!!

Clean, welcoming and spacious rooms. The food was excellent and the staff were attentive and worked together as a team.
One tiny thing: please put a mirror near a power outlet!

Our 2nd time staying here and we loved it just as much if not more than our first! The family suite is beyond perfect for our family, gorgeously decorated and the beds are ultra comfortable! The staff during dinner, breakfast and in general are exceptional Jenny, Lisa, Emily are the lovely ladies we met and they are an absolute credit to the team. Nothing was too much, they were attentive, chatty and had real genuine care about their customers. The food is awesome! Highly recommend their pizzas! Would not hesitate to book here again and shout about the place to all my friends. A real gem and credit to the hospitality business.
Leaving it to go home - (would have happily stayed for days!!)

Very clean throughout spotless in fact! every member of staff was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and they were all very friendly. Couldn't fault the staff at all they were all brilliant.
No food served on Monday and Tuesday, we did however have a phone call to inform us before we started our journey. The bar closed early on those two nights so couldn't get a drink when we came back after our meal at another establishment just up the road. However the food at the Plough the next three nights was very very good which made up for Monday and Tuesday. I believe from next week there will be food for residents on Monday and Tuesday which would be perfect!

Fabulous pub with great accommodation in refurbished rooms. There was a very friendly and professional team working there and we all felt really looked after. We had a brilliant meal in the restaurant and breakfast each morning was superb. Very well situated for a wedding we were attending in nearby Oxnead Hall.
The only thing I can mention is that the rooms were incredibly hot, particularly room 111. Obviously the weather is not the fault of the hotel (The sun was shining for the wedding 😁) but I really struggled to sleep in such a warm room and didn't think the provided fan offered much relief. Otherwise I couldn't fault a thing.

We loved The Plough and can highly recommend it, both as a pub with excellent food and a place to stay overnight as a brilliant B&B. The pub was very booked on the Friday night, but staff found us a table so we could eat and relax after a long journey. The food was delicious - I had the nachos starter and my partner went straight to the waffles dessert. It looked so delicious I ended up having a sundae - highly recommended. Despite it being really busy, the staff made time to chat to us and welcome us. In the morning the owner was on breakfast shift, and was friendly, well-informed about the local area and made sure we had all we needed e.g. finding me yoghurt to go with my proper fresh fruit salad. Our room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and beautifully designed. It's a great place to stay if you want to explore the area.....
That we only booked for 1 night!

There was nothing to dislike. We arrived early and had a meal before checking in. The food was really delicious & good value the rooms were very spacious & the shower was super powerful. The rooms were a little to warm for our liking the beds were comfortable although ours was a little raised in the middle so as a side sleeper not so good the pillows could have been a little more comfortable but saying that we all slept ok. The staff were all amazing & the breakfast was excellent. We definitely will be returning next year.

Location was perfect, the room spacious and extremely clean, the breakfast and evening meal really tasty. The staff also went out of their way to make sure our bicycles were stored somewhere secure overnight. It might be an idea to supplement the bike parking in the car park, which is good for short day time visits with some further bike parking for overnight visitors in an area out of view. The bike parking in the car park is not secure enough for touring bicycles to be left overnight since it is too visible and only secures the front wheel making theft of the bike very easy. Touring bikes often cost over £2000 and are also the means of transport to and from the pub!
Our room (no 6 I think) had no door to the double bedded room providing a distinct lack of basic privacy. Also due to the emergency lighting in the hallway and the lack of the door the bedroom was too light to sleep easily in. Also the window faced outwards to the car park and could have done with a net curtain to maintain privacy without the need to lower the curtain in daylight when changing or after a bath or shower. It was disappointing not to have any hand pumps in operation dispensing draft ale. I appreciate that cleaning was taking place but after this surely the ale could have been restored before the end of the evening.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Room was very nicely decorated and looked newly refurbished. We booked dinner in the pub for the evening and the food was very enjoyable and the pub was packed with diners which shows how popular it is for its food and atmosphere. Again the staff were very friendly and couldn't do more for us. Breakfast the next day was included in our room rate and again was enjoyable and plentiful. We stayed in Marsham as a base to explore the surrounding area.
Not what we didn't like but just a suggestion to include bottles of water for guests in the room with the teas and coffee. We have stayed in other hotels which do this.

Great sized room with en-suite, both nicely decorated. Good selection of teas and coffee available in the room. The restaurant ambience was inviting, mix of contemporary and rustic. The menu choices were very varied so options for all tastes. All meals we had were good sized portions and were delicious. I note that some clients had stated the food was pricey however quality comes at an extra cost so we thought it was worth it and we would highly recommend the restaurant. Shaun and the team were attentive and all were very helpful.
On arrival the facade of the building disappointed me however this does not paint a true impression of the experience we had during our stay. We loved it.
