Cute spacious cabin. Great location - so close to cradle mountain. Beautiful setting - lovely gardens with lots of rabbits and kookaburras. Bed was super comfy and being able to soak in the bath after a long day of hiking was awesome

Neighbouring cabin’s deck setting was overlooking our deck setting so there was no privacy for either side. This was ok with me as my neighbours were lovely and we had a great chat but it might be good if the higher cabin (Cradle I think it was called) could have their table and chairs moved over a bit to give the Hartz cabin a bit more privacy

This cottage was extremely well appointed and extremely clean. It had a huge spa bath, which was appreciated after a long days hiking. This is an ideal location to visit the Cradle Mountain area (approx. 25 km) without the huge price tag being asked by accommodation closer to Cradle Mountain. The cottage is set up for self-catering with a large fridge. There is information in the cottage about where to do go, should you wish to dine out.

Our cottage had some stairs to walk up to the bedroom area. Beware, if you are not steady on your feet. There is a railing, but it is to the far side of the wall (not in the middle of the stairs) and the stairs run the whole length of the bedroom area. There are a few more stairs into the bathroom area.

Location. Very comfortable. Great to have a kitchen and living area.

We arrived just after sundown. There was no one in reception, understandably, the envelope that was left at reception was hard to see. We walked around the property some and talked to some other renters, and they walked up with us, and we finally found the envelope. It would be nice to have received a note to the effect that we should look for the envelope. it’s so quiet and peaceful there which is what we loved about the place. It was a little scary when we couldn’t figure out where we were supposed to stay! Thank you.

The kitchen was very comprehensively fitted out, with all possible needs considered. There were detailed instructions for operating devices, such as the TV. A guest laundry was an appreciated addition. An opportunity to see some of the local wildlife at close quarters was a bonus.

I think it should be made clear how far away venues to buy groceries are. There is a beautifully appointed kitchen but we were unable to make use of it as hadn't purchased supplies.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cradle Alpine. The facilities and amenities were fantastic, after campervanning for a week having access to a laundry room was a god send. We loved the space bath, such a luxury. And the kitchen was well stocked with utensils we needed to cook dinner. Oh, and seeing the wildlife wandering around the cabin was really nice and relaxing to watch. We will be coming back again, definitely for more than a night.

I loved this accommodation it was the highlight of our trip beautifully presented had everything you could want. Bed was so comfy the setting and location far exceeded my expectations the view from every window was awesome. There was a large spa especially handy after spending a day hiking at Cradle Mountain large spacious bedroom and fully equipped kitchen. As an added bonus you got to see some wonderful wild life outside your window in the evenings and mornings.

There was nothing I didn't like everything was perfect.

Great cottages, we booked two and one of them had a spa. Location was convenient to the National Park, view from the cottages was great and there were pademelons perusing the property which was delightful. There were pantry supplies galore and real coffee for use in a french press (this may have been left my a previous guest, I am not sure).

There was construction happening at the property during our stay, but the hosts did actually let us know about this and it did not bother us overmuch.

Very peaceful, loved the daily visits by pademelons, close proximity to Cradle Mountain park/ easy drive. Comfy bed!

Would have liked some deck chairs or such for verandah. (Even fold-away would have been good. Picnic table was good but not comfortable to sit on to admire the scenery) A chest of drawers would have been handy in bedroom. Other cabins were much closer than expected, but fortunately noise was not an issue.

Lovely property right outside Cradle Mountain making it easy to commute. The place was clean and comfortable and the bathtub is an amazing addition after a long day of hiking.

It is a detail but still good to mention. We did a little bit of stargazing which was amazing but the other cabins patio light stayed on which spoiled the experience. Maybe have the patio light be automatic or simply a bit more space in between cabins to make the experience more remote.

The location with the large windows looking into the forest was wonderful. The thoughtful provision of kitchen equipment & basic provisions like salt, coffee etc. Cozy bed. And the level of cleanliness was extraordinary - it was immaculate!
