Loved everything about The Hide . A magical entrance into a beautiful stylish studio. The location is perfect for walking to / from station - main attractions. Surrounded by beautiful buildings. Everything is within 5 - 15 mins walks. The Hide also has a supermarket 2 mins walk away & great cafes & restaurant's right outside the door. The surprise bonus was that it was really quiet at night so you can sleep in the gorgeous bed easily. I loved the complimentary shower products so much that i went to the local supplier ( florist Shop) in same street and purchased the fragrance.

The Hide is a very stylish accommodation with playful twists; there is a properly equipped kitchenette (with beautiful dishes), and a Nespresso machine. This place would be also convenient for a longer stay. I very much liked the interior design combining some of the old features with very modern ones. It is located in a very nice area with many bars and restaurants, far enough from the tourist-crowded city center and yet close enough to get there quickly. But it gives you the opportunity to enjoy the less tourist venues. I also like to fully automated check-in & access. As I misplaced the email with the necessary information, I reached out through the Booking.com platform and immediately got a text message by the very friendly host.
My room (Bluesette) is street-side and the windows are not sound proof. The bed hangs from the ceiling -playful twist and quite inspiring ;-) - however the ropes make noise with every turn in bed. It did not bother me, but for a second in the morning I thought people were clearing snow and ice outside.

Everything Located on a street junction so you don’t need to worry about places to eat. The room was very very clean Spacious Its interior was great and fun Prompt facilities Fast response when contacted for help
- A bit hard to find in the first time.— you should check its entrance on Google Maps - a bit loud at night and in the early morning if your room facing the streets like mine. I hope they prepared earplugs next time cuz I really like the place and want to come back again.

Spacious. Airy. Clean. Well appointed. Comfortable. Quiet (mostly). Location was close to centre but far enough away that it was a lot quieter and less busy.
Overall it was very good. Some noise from apartments above and around due to thin ceilings and plumbing sounds. Not unexpected in an old building. There was an unidentified pumping noise one night but it disappeared the following night. May have been something someone had in their room. Staff did try to find it with no luck and were helpful.

Great location, huge spacious flat, super comfy bed. Apartment was incredibly quiet and well equipped flat. A short walk into all the sights. A really large space - it was, I assume, the wine cellar so it is a bit dark, but really generously sized and very open plan.
Does really need a door on the toilet and not a curtain. The centralised control for the lights and heating was a bit annoying. There’s a huge Tv - with 4 or 5, remote controls, which doesn’t work.

The room was lovely. The Hide is close enough to all the action but far enough away to be quiet. Excellent cafe around the corner and groceries close by too. Was good to have a kitchen - as a solo traveller you don’t want to eat out every meal. Bed super comfortable. Shower lovely. Also, back garden was lovely - poured a glass of wine and read my book by the canal.

The location is excellent for sights, shopping and restaurants. It’s the right size for 2 people. Well equipped, modern and warm. It’s secure.
The kitchen staff on Monday morning kept banging the door and woke us up around 7 am. A beeping alarm in the hall went off on Monday night with the wind and rain and no one turned it off for over 2 hours. Instructions in English for the microwave / oven would be helpful.

The Hide was perfectly located - a short walk from De Bijloke where my conference was. Beautiful views of the street, and I had everything I needed in the studio. Thoughtfully decorated and the bath/shower were luxurious.
I wish that guests could use the common areas. There’s a beautiful common room but no one could use it. That would have made the stay a bit cozier.

The location of The Hide is perfect. The tram stop is right outside the front entrance but, everything is only a short walk away. There is a night shop opposite which was handy as well as lots of local restaurants. The apartment is very stylish and has everything you could want as well as being behind an electric gate which felt very safe and secure. The area is quiet, but also you have the option of local bars/pubs if you fancy a drink. The hosts were very helpful and got back to us quickly with any questions. We would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Ghent.
The bathroom only had a curtain separating it from the main living space, rather than a door, and the shower didn't have a hook for the head to have stand up shower. The heating was a little tricky to figure out so it would be great to have a guide for future visits.

This is an amazing location, in the heart of everything. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything one could need. The property has a beautiful garden
I missed personal contact. Messages I received seemed copy-pasted and I wasn't sure if I was talking to a real person. Gives a bit of unsafe feeling in case things go wrong and you actually need help
