Comfy bed, lovely breakfast, bedroom made up each day. Easy check in and check out.

Parking very tricky. Didn't need ti change towels every day!

Continental breakfast was nice. They allowed us to leave our stuff in safe place before room got prepared (We were early) and after checking out so we could stroll around town freely until the evening.

We forgot to leave the key so had to rush back to give it before 12 in the afternoon. I gave a call to ask for a little more time but the lady said I'd need to pay for extra day if I delivered the key after 12. I would have returned the key a couple hours later but with her being adamant had to rush back ASAP changing plans of the day.

The location is really great with walking distance to almost everywhere and public free parking just couple of meters away. The breakfast included in the price is super convenient especially if you are with kids - simple but you have everything you would need. Check in and check out were super fast and easy.

It is really clean and I was pleasantly surprised. Since the hotel is pet friendly I noticed dog hair on the blankets, but I really don’t mind. Maybe just for someone with allergies to pay attention to, otherwise everything else was just in order.

Location is right next to the bus station so ideal for links to Malaga, Frigiliana or even further afield like Granada. Also opposite the taxi rank if you need a taxi. The room was basic but more than adequate with your own fridge. Towels were replaced daily even if you didn't require it and rooms serviced. For the price you can't beat it.

Its not really a "not like" but the breakfast area is on the internal patio which is kinda outside so its chilly first thing in the morning during winter.

Unfortunately as a solo traveler I got a room with a window opening onto the dining room! Washing machine operated until midnight. Try not to book rooms 106/107. Tried to book a second week but wouldn’t change to different room.

For value for money this is place is exceptional! Spotlessly clean and great location for exploring Nerja. The breakfast choice was great - tostadas, ham, cheese, croissants, cereal, cakes, boiled eggs and fruit too!

It’s hard to be critical when you’re getting such good value for money! The only negatives were the comfort of the pillows, which I found a little hard and the breakfast room which is outside in the courtyard, which I would imagine is fabulous in the summer, but very chilly in February!

Central location, easy to find, large free public carpark just across the road (accessable via a steep flight of steps). Great free buffet breakfast was a plus. Just be prepared to unload/load luggage quickly as stoppng at the entrance means totally blocking the narrow street.

We booked two double rooms, one was excellent, but the second was a bit cramped and with a very small ensuite. Otherwise it was comfortable and clean, and very quiet considering location next to a busy road.

I was travelling alone and the room I stayed in was a family room with a double bed and two single beds, private bathroom and balcony, and breakfast included, for about the same price as a single bed in a dorm room at a hostel in Malaga. It's about a 15 minute walk to each beach and the bus station is right in front, so it's perfect for travelling to Malaga, the Cave or Frigiliana. Everyone should stay here.

I couldn't find any downsides during my short stay.

Another excellent stay, rooms are spotlessly clean, beds very comfortable. Breakfast is everything you could ask for 👌. The Hostal is in a really great location, right beside the bus stop and only a 10-15 minute walk to The Balcon, the heart of Nerja. Nadia is an outstanding hostess, nothing is too much trouble for her. She will do her utmost to help with whatever you require. Realistically Hostal Azahara should be 5* plus ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

the most wonderful location in the center of Nerja. 15 minutes walk to the beach and the balcony of Europe. Very clean room with a good shower. refrigerator in the room. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast. Amazing silence in the whole hotel, which was maintained by all the guests of the hotel. Thank you very much! If we are in Nerja, we will choose only this hotel!
