Staff were excellent and friendly very helpful especially leanne and Mercedes and sorry I can't remember male staff name. We were in room 4 quite comfortable, quite nice view of Loch. Breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed it buffet breakfast with full English lovely. The cheese and haggis toasties at lunchtime were excellent.

Closed bar at 9pm as hardly any guests? Thiers not much to do in hotel a pool table, although, staff put some music on for us. Did not like evening food menu was same few days running not lot choice, but wee pub across road did really excellent tasty food..not sure if we would go back to stay at this hotel, only good thing was staff.. who were brilliant. Cheers guys.Dont think was worth full board..sorry due to menu..Could do with bit decorating as bit dated.

The room was fantastic for the price, much more modern that I anticipated. It was clean, though could maybe use a new lick of paint on the walls, but nothing major. It was warm and the duvet was very snug which was great for winter. Staff were wonderful. I booked only a few minutes before arriving and they had the room ready for me in 15 minutes, check in was very simple, couldn't have asked for anything more.

The only thing that could have been better is that the room felt like it didn't have a lot of privacy. The window (looking over to another part of the building with more rooms) was covered with a very thin, muslin-like curtain which could be seen through, and then 2 thick curtain pieces that weren't wide enough to cover the window. Altogether though, this didn't really impact on my stay, I still got a good sleep and it didn't keep me up.

The room was clean and comfortable with good amenities including a tea and coffee station, a TV and a hair dryer was provided when we requested it. The bathroom was very nice - lovely shower. Our view was good as we were on the bottom floor facing the loch. Very comfy beds, I slept wonderfully! The staff were all very friendly and happy to help with any of our requests. the lounge and bar areas were nice, and included a pamphlet display with some useful pamphlets on local attractions. The hotel was also fabulous value for money considering all the services available for what we paid. We were very happy with our stay.

There was one day where hot food was included in the breakfast buffet which meant you couldn't just get the cheaper continental breakfast and had to pay the full price even if you didn't want hot food. There was also a day the restaurant/bar was quite limited with the options on their menu- I presume they were running low on ingredients- and they had clearly tried to make something similar to what I ordered but it was not really close. Still a nice meal but I wish they had just let me know that they couldn't really make it and I would've chosen something else :)

The room was lovely and smelt amazing. Very clean and nicely decorated. Staff very friendly. Parking available though gets very busy. Great location. Lovely fish and chip shop opposite.

The noise. It could benefit from double glazing as lorrries driving past all through the night and people walking around at 4 in the morning in corridors, talking like it’s not 4 in the morning. Each night of the three I stayed, I was woken by people and traffic. Didn’t manage to get one full nights sleep without being disturbed by people talking and doors opening and shutting in the early hours. Just unlucky I guess, but loved the hotel itself. Very nice.

Ensuite single room was exactly what I needed, stayed for 2 nights - Staff were very helpful and friendly - mattress is nice and firm, slept really well - small tv which I didn't have time to try - hangers in the room to hang clothes - ironing room on each floor - close to the bus stop if you're coming in from Glasgow Central so easy get to if you don't have a car - kettle in room with a few tea bags, coffee, sugar and milks - soap and clean towels - booked it relatively last minute so compared to others nearby hotels was much cheaper - can't comment on breakfast/bar/dinner as I didn't try either

- lifts wasn't working so if you've got mobility problems you might struggle but could just be a temporary issue

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel given previous poor reviews. Our room was big and bright with a fantastic view of the loch and the bed was very comfortable. The staff couldn't have been more cheerful, friendly and helpful, even though we had the sense that there weren't enough of them and they were having to work very hard. We were only there for one night and we didn't have breakfast but we had an enjoyable evening meal. Overall, our stay was great. No complaints.

The evening meal was a little later than expected because there was a coach party staying and there didn't appear to be additional staff to cover that.

We booked this hotel last minute while we were in the area doing some munro bagging, we were not expecting much for £60 for the night - other than a bed to save us driving all the way home after a long day. This hotel far exceeded our expectations, very friendly chatty reception staff on arrival and departure. The hotel has a bar/function area and there was live entertainment on the night of our stay. We did not use the restaurant for dinner or breakfast so can't comment on the food but we were made aware it was available for an additional cost should we choose to use it. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the view from our room out over the loch was stunning. We weren't quick enough to get a parking space in the hotel but there was other public parking available less than 100 yards away so this was not an issue. The area is a very small village only around a 10 minute drive from Loch Lomond, although I'm not sure how you would access it if not arriving by car.

The room itself could've done with a fresh lick of paint to make it look a little less grubby

Location is lovely, food was good, room was basic but very clean, had everything we needed. Nice bar area and restaurant. For once, in a hotel, the bed was comfortable and had nice pillows! We were on the 4th floor and there was a lovely little seating area next to our room which you could look out over the loch from - a real 'happy place' to sit and relax in. Lovely little hotel.

Felt a bit awkward at reception when we arrived, the young man was talking to people sitting in the sofa area and just left us standing there for a few minutes without a hello or 'be with you in a moment' type comment. Bar staff were polite but not friendly.... not the end of the world but a smile wouldn't kill them.

Location and price great. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us all. Meals were substantial and drinks were reasonable for hotel prices. Our dogs were welcomed and we felt looked after. We were able to all eat together in the evening and at breakfast. Breakfast especially, we were catered for exceptionally well.

There was no direct lift to each floor. We had to climb some stairs with our luggage to get to the lift. When departing it was difficult getting down the steps easily with two people, two dogs leads and luggage all at once. I understand that to install a lift from reception to floors would mean a massive renovation at a very high cost so it wouldn't be anything you could change, however, we were not informed at time of booking nor was it in any literature that we saw.

Staff were lovely and helpful. Entertainment on the Friday was great he made it a great atmosphere and interacted with the guests. It's a relaxing hotel and your made to feel welcome

Only down fall was the food all we could get offered for lunch was a toastie even though there is a menu on display then at dinner certain items not available. Cups at breakfast were really dirty.
