We loved our stay! Kelly was so kind and helpful to us, it was a great location and very peaceful, which was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate a birthday. Great bonus having the hot tub and such a cosy room, we stayed in the highlander room which might have been the comfiest bed we have ever stayed in. We loved that Kelly has a wee store as well so we could take home fresh eggs or buy any snacks during our stay. We went a wee walk around the area as well to meet the animals who were all very friendly and well behaved. We didn’t end up opting for dinner or breakfast but would definitely do it next time. Kelly had also recommended us local restaurants which were of a walkable distance, which was great for us. 10/10 stay will definitely be back!

Nothing :)

I stayed here when walking the West Highland Way with a group of friends. Kelly went above and beyond and made us feel very welcome. We opted for the slow cooker option which was great and the breakfast got us ready for the long day ahead. Such a fantastic view from the hotel tub and just generally around everywhere you look. There's a variety of animals on the farm which Kelly was very knowledgeable about and if you like bird watching there was a good variation and the RSPB station nextdoor is a good indicator. We wondered to the bunkhouse down the road which had a great selection of food and drink. Unfortunately my friend left his watch behind and Kelly kindly posted it back to him.

WOW!!! Now that's a hit! Kelly and Paul are doing a great job! We did a roundtrip around Scotland so only stayed 2 nights, but I can see this accommodation for a much longer time. The breakfast you get is made from ingredients grown in the garden and it is amazing! The hot tub is really great especially on clear nights when you can see the whole starry sky with no light smog. I also have to mention The Kelly Kettle, a small self-service shack for passing tourists as well, where Kelly will make you a proper espresso on request.

The only complaint we have is that there were strange noises in the walls of the room, probably caused by the pipes with the heating system.

We loved the drive to Inversnaid, the beautiful scenery. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were friendly, easy to talk to, helpful. We had a lovely casserole waiting for us too. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. Everything was spotlessly clean. The hosts had thought of everything, we didn't want for anything. There was also a fridge to keep our drinks cold. The shower room was also spotless & the shower itself had good water pressure. Loved the cosy robes too. We had a cooked breakfast both mornings, which was exceptional quality. An added bonus was the hot food, sandwiches & gorgeous freshly baked cakes available in the cute wee cafe next to the rooms. The WiFi wasn't great in the rooms but we were able to use the WiFi in the cafe, which was spot on. We enjoyed a good chat with both the hosts & vowed to pay another visit to their wee piece of heaven. We intend booking another stay in 2024 to use the hot tub & get a tour of the farm. Weather permitting.

There was nothing we didn't like, except we had chosen the wettest weekend to visit.

Garrison was gorgeous, we were warmly welcomed by Kelly who was so friendly, which we appreciated after a long day walking. The room was beautifully appointed, comfortable and warm with a history of the property provided in the compendium. The amenities were great (loved the little on-site cafe with amazing cakes) and the location beautiful. Home cooked meal provided (I was so happy with the veggy option which included nuts, seeds and broccoli which i was craving after a few days hiking!). Breakfast also was delicious. Our hike along the WHW was affected by flash flooding and we essentially had to turn back and were stranded in Inversnaid. Kelly and Paul were so accommodating and we were able to stay another night. Highly recommend this place.

Very comfy room, can feel the age of the previous uses, loads of history. Room was very quiet, facilites are great. Super clean. Hot tub was great, outside seating is available, firepit needs some TLC but does the job. All in a fantastic wee place. Also managed to see the Milkyway due to the lack of light pollution and clear sky. Truely magical.

Nothing, the room is basic but thats all we wanted, needed for one night.

Beautiful quiet location with stunning views. Hot tub was a lovely end to the day after walking part of the West Highland Way. Evening meal was delicious and breakfast was even better - loads of choice and the best breakfast we've had for a long time. Set us up well for another long day's walk.

A little confusion with our booking when we first arrived but all quickly resolved.

We had the most amazing stay from start to finish. The cottage was beautiful and the views were absolutely stunning. The hot tub was an added bonus, it was so peaceful just chilling and seeing all the views. There was beautiful walks on our door step. Kelly our host was amazing, we could not recommend her enough and the love she has for her animals is lovely. Kelly gave us a tour round the farm and we got to feed the highland cows, which was incredible they were so friendly. Kelly taught us so much- it’s a must if staying at the cottage. Kelly has so much knowledge and is a true gem of a women. Myself and Connor will definitely be back, thank you for having us and making us feel so comfortable. It was lovely to meet you and all your animals. We look forward to seeing you all again. Dionne and Connor

The charming little farm with an amazing view has a wonderful outside whirlpool with magic lights. We loved the wide choice of breakfat which Kelly brings on a tray right to your room - which you also could have outside in the big gardens. After having spent a great day in the surroundings we were able to have cake and tea/coffee from Kelly's"Tea Bus - just simply lovely. Our host Kelly is a very warm-hearted person with a great personality. From the very beginning we just felt very welcome, laughted a lot together and partet as friends. We will definitly hear and see more of each other and recommend this wonderful piece of land.

What a beautiful, remote setting! Garrison of inversnaid is a beautifully maintained accommodation with lots of little quirks, we loved it! Kelly was an incredible host, she was friendly, welcoming and seems to enjoy sharing her farm with her guests! She was helpful, going over and above to ensure we had the best time. We didn't order food this time as we had made other plans but most definitely will during our next stay. The area has such beautiful scenery and walks, lots to offer if you are looking for a chilled time with some activity thrown in. It couldn't have been more perfect for us!

Nothing! We can't wait to come back! :)
