Great location amazing views and modern rooms also. Facilities are fantastic and staff were so accommodating letting us use facilities both days. Also a newly married couple checked in before us and the staff upgraded their room which I thought was a great gesture.

Warm welcome on arrival. Helpful advice re facilities. Comfortable room excellent tea coffee provision in room, Excellent roast dinner at lunchtime - cooked to perfection . Spa facilities fabulous. Dinner and bar staff very good.

The prices of drinks!

The hotel and staff are amazing. I traveled with my dog and have stayed in many dog friendly hotels but this one was by far the best. They made us all feel super welcome. The facilities were great and the atmosphere was so chilled. The staff are the selling point of this place though, everyone we met who worked here was helpful and welcoming. They truly go above and beyond. Will definitely visit again in the very near future. I don’t often write reviews but felt compelled to this time as the stay exceeded my expectations.

The spa facilities are great and it’s worth paying extra for the outdoor thermal suite. Our room was lovely with a really comfy bed, beautiful views and a great bath and shower. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food (we had dinner and breakfast) is very good.

There were just little things that would’ve made a real difference, especially at this time of year when it’s dark and cold. The lighting in the bar area (and the lighting above the beds in the pool) is too bright, especially for the evening. In addition, having the fires lit throughout the lounge etc and having real candles instead of the fake ones would’ve made the place feel more welcoming and cosy during a cold December night.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the facilities are lovely with good opening hours and the room was comfortable and clean.

I don't have any major dislikes, just a couple of feedback points The hairdryers in the room aren't very good. If packing for a short stay it's not always reasonable to pack a hairdryer. Given part of the stay includes the spa facilities, it would make a difference if the hairdryers were better. The spa facilities are beautiful but it's a shame cars can park in front of the viewing window. It might be better to block off these spaces as there are plenty others available.

The spa facilities were brilliant and allowed a good time to relax. The food in the restaurant was also really good. The bedroom was very cosy and despite having an older style it was still modern which we liked. All staff in the hotel were friendly.

Felt that the restaurant/bar area felt too big for the hotel and when at dinner/breakfast it felt really quiet. Also feel that the unisex changing rooms were strange and not something I was used too and would prefer separate. Feel in the front room where the games are that they could have had music on at night and let everyone know when the bar would close as we didn’t manage to get a last order before it shut for the night.

Stayed here a few times, The Setting and hotel itself are lovely, really cosy & welcoming. Dinner was excellent and service was great. Great choices. Leisure facilities have been revamped & look excellent, everything was very clean & fresh.

Room 319 could do with a refresh, stains on the wall & carpet. Also marks in the bathroom ceiling where old shower has been. Small touch ups would make a big difference. Stained bath robe in the room quickly changed by reception. Breakfast was good, could have been better, we were for left for 5/10, had to ask a member of staff to order. It wasn’t particularly busy, some staff seemed a little disinterested.

room was pleasant and nicely decorated - lovely bed and nice to have a jacuzzi and swim after a long journey - breakfast was good with incredible views - if I’d had that view in my bedroom I wouldn’t have left!!

The only frustration I had was with the manager who assured me on arrival I could pay by cash as I offered it to him on arrival but he had no change and I had only secured the booking by credit card on booking.com but he insisted on taking my credit card and took payment immediately so in the morning the mature stern lady with short blonde hair on reception said I couldn’t pay by cash as I’d already paid on my card! I was annoyed by this! It said on the terms to pay at hotel and they should have honoured my preference for paying in cash !!

The room was warm clean and very comfortable. Had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. Nice little extra traditional Scottish treats on the tea and coffee tray . It was well noted. Staff very friendly all round. Room service did a wonderful job of keeping the room clean.. Great to see especially after coming back after long walks. It was greatly appreciated. The property itself is stunning. Traditional and full of character, yet cleverly remaining modern. The dining experience was excellent The food was very good indeed. Plenty of staff on hand which was great and very personable. Eager to help. The swimming facilities are fantastic and all you need. Sadly my spa treatments were cancelled. But hotel had a very good reason so couldn’t argue.

Staff are suberb and we were made to feel extremely welcome. Location is first class to wander into Inverary Room was comfortable - although a little on the small side Swimming pool is a very good size for a small hotel Breakfast is good The most dog friendly hotel we've ever stayed in

It is a very expensive hotel. We would have liked the vegetarian dinner options to be a bit more imaginative The bedroom was comfortable had mould spores near the windows and the bathroom floor grouting needs replaced. The bar shuts at 11pm - which is very early for a hotel. I was hoping the range of whiskies would be more imaginative and more local.
