Our recent stay at La Dulcinea was really nice. When I walked in, I immediately felt calm, like I was in a zen garden. The smell of oranges in the air was amazing, and hearing the birds singing made it even better. The room was super clean and had a cool vibe to it. The hosts were really friendly and made me feel welcome. Plus, the breakfast they served was delicious. I wish I could have stayed longer because everything was so peaceful and nice. I definitely recommend staying here if you want a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature.

It’s beautiful -a house built by the owners in a Mexican style, richly decorated and the walls are in such a warm colour. Comfortable king size bed, nice sized bathroom with a good shower. We didn’t try the pool, it’s a bit early in the year yet but it’s a good size and would be lovely in warmer weather. Excellent and varied breakfast, everything tasty and fresh, beautifully presented, and plenty without being overwhelming.

It is a little paradise! Very attractive neighbourhood, lovely home with beautiful gardens. Although just off the motorway, central and easy to find, the only noise is the wind through the trees and the incredible birdsong. Room and bathroom were great, and everything worked. Breakfast was excellent, everything you could wish for - fruit, cheese, meat and bread and very good coffee. Bie and Ian could not be more welcoming. They made us feel we had the place to ourselves, whilst they were at the same time being attentive to our slightest whims. We left feeling we had made rather special new friends.

La Dulcinea is an absolutely magical place, with a soul. It is located in a quiet, private neighborhood, where birds wake you up in the morning. Rooms are spacious and unique, each is different. The moment I entered this place, I felt relaxed. Owners are great people, who put all their hearts into this place. What's more, they serve you a yummy breakfast! Highly recommend to choose this place for your stay.

Myself and my partner stayed here for some relaxation after a three day wedding , and loved it. The place is beautiful. The hosts couldn’t have done more for us , from calling taxis to even letting us book another night when our flight was cancelled. If I could give thick place a 100 out of 10 I would. The bedroom was gorgeous with air con and the bathroom even had a bath. The grounds are absolutely stunning and the breakfast was also amazing. Thank you for a lovely stay Cholie & Liam x

Beautifully presented property in a very peaceful location. Lovely swimming pool set in the most beautiful garden. Our room was fabulous, very tastefully decorated with a very comfortable four poster, queen size bed, which was serviced daily. Bie and Steven were very hospitable and made us very welcome. The are very knowledgeable of the area for restaurants locally and a bit further afield, told us of nice cycling routes and good places to shop and visit. A very tasty fresh breakfast and choice of cooked eggs, was served in the garden pool house area every morning. We were asked if we'd like teas or coffees regularly, chilled beers, soft drinks and water were available next to the pool along with towels. Bie washed our cycling clothing whenever we wanted and it was dry ready for use the same day. The property is a 10 minute drive to the Port of Sotogrande and is a good location for Duquesa Port, a 20 minute drive and is close to the A7 and AP7 which take you to Malaga and the surrounding areas. This is our second visit and hope to return ☺️

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The breakfast was wonderful; fresh fruit cut up in a bowl to eat with or without yogurt, breads with homemade preserves, sliced tomato, cheese, and ham, the eggs were cooked to perfection, only after the yogurt was finished, and coffee in a french Press. The food was served outside in a covered room in front of the pool. Incredible location.

There was NOTHING that I did not like

It's a very nice property with kind and helpful owners. We really enjoyed our stay even though we came after the season and it's definitely not the time when you can fully enjoy all its features. The property itself is lovely and it's so awesome to spend the evening chilling in the garden, by the pool.

very slight smell of dampness in the room

we stayed in a beautiful self contained unit which was separated from the main house in the pool area of the rear garden. The room was spacious, clean and well presented. The bathroom was at the rear of the bedroom area and had a shower toilet and basin with plenty of storage and included a hairdryer. toiletries were provided, shampoo, shower gel and hand soap which were all very nice. Breakfast was served every morning and as we are vegetarian, they altered it to suit us, there was fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese, honey, marmalade, bread, fresh coffee and we were asked our choice of cooked eggs every morning. Our room was serviced every day and it always had a nice clean smell on our return from our days out. Bie and Steven made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble, Bie asked us daily if we wanted any clothing washed which was a godsend for my husbands cycling clothing. We are planning to return to the property in September.

nothing, only one aside is make sure you use google maps to find the property as we ended up lost in another town which had the same street name using Tom Tom and garmin.

The hotel is located in a quiet and beautiful part of Sotogrande .If you would like to have rest for several days and enjoy mediterran environment,it's a perfect choice.The garden is beautiful and the rooms are very cosy and comfortable.The breakfast was perfect too.
