We stayed in a Deluxe Twin Room with a balcony. The hotel has underground parking for CHF14 per day (there is also outdoor parking, which is charged hourly). The view over the mountains, city and lake was stunning. We were on the 14th floor, with a nice size balcony - but, despite having no other tall buildings nearby, you are not guaranteed privacy, as the paragliders often fly close enough to be able to call greetings to you (close curtains over the glass sliding doors before wandering out of the bathroom after a shower)! The room had a comfortable king bed, a bar fridge, a safe and a TV with international channels. There was a standing floor fan. We requested extra pillows, which were brought to our room quickly and cheerfully. Breakfast was included and offered a large array of foods, hot and cold. It was an easy walk from the hotel into the Unterseen Old Town district, to the East and West stations, or to the funicular up to Harder Kulm. A bus stop is close to the hotel entrance, with buses stopping regularly. There was a wide variety of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel

Despite advertising that the room has coffee/tea making facilities, there was no kettle or coffee maker etc. When I requested one, I was initially told that I had to go to the sauna lounge (?) if I wanted a cup of coffee, then I was allowed to ‘loan’ a kettle (I had to sign that I’d pay CHF40 if it went missing or broke). They provided two cups, but no coffee, milk or sugar sachets etc, which we had to buy from a supermarket. Almost every hotel we stayed at in Switzerland had either a coffee machine or a kettle in our room (sometimes both), so we were surprised and disappointed that we had this kind of issue at a 4-star hotel. The WiFi was slow and inconsistent. There was no air conditioner in the room.

Very strong over powering air-freshener/perfume/cleaner smell in the room. Like it was masking something else? In the morning the smell had dispersed to some degree leaving a smell of cigarettes...........

Location is perfect. Staff is kind and professional. Loved they have a spa and a terrace that you can relax on while watching all the paragliders land. Walking distance from train station if you are in decent shape. Otherwise, quick cab ride unless you are comfortable taking the bus. The bus stop is not right in front of the hotel but about a block away.

The refrigerator is shoved into a closet which makes the unit hot. Therefore the unit did not cool properly. Also, I fell and injured my knee. I needed ice and had to wait for the bartender to arrive to get it each day. The front desk would not get it for me and housekeeping never answered the phone.

• The room is clean • The bed is comfortable. • Eventhough they didn't have aircon but they do have a ventilator/fan. It is enough to cool the room. It is also cool at night, so you can just open the balcony door. • Fridge with drinks inside it is available. • Super friendly, helpful, nice & welcoming staffs. They helped is facilitate our accomodation & our needs. They make sure that we enjoy our vacation in Interlaken. 🥰 Staffs speak German & English. • The location is perfect & beautiful. It is in the city center. 5-7Min walk from Interlaken West Station. It is located at the front of a promenade park, where you can walk & relax at night, & an open area where the paragliders land. • Each room has a balcony where you can enjoy tje beautiful montain view, including that of Jungfraujoch.

• No kettle, free tea provided in the room in relation to the price we paid for the room. I understand that each hotel is different. But we also had an expensive hotel in Netherlands. And the facilities there are better. •We had a Double Deluxe Room for 1 night after 1 night in a Double Standard Room. We didn't expect that we're paying extra for the drinks we consumed after we checked out. The room itself is already expensive plus we needed to pay extra for the drinks in the fridge. When we were staying in the Double Standard Room, they didn't charge us for the drinks we consumed in the fridge. • There are some dusts on the fan & on the body mirror area. It is not a very big deal. But I think, they missed cleaning those areas.

The hotel is situated right across from the vast greens of Interlaken's Big Lawn, offering views of numerous paragliders descending right from the rooms. It enjoys convenient access to both Interlaken West Station and Interlaken Ost Station by bus. The complimentary rooftop observation deck boasts stunning vistas as well. A free shuttle service is available for transfers between the stations, albeit requiring advance reservation. Early arrivals can store their luggage at the hotel, with the staff thoughtfully delivering it to the room upon check-in, a highly commendable service.

The room facilities in the hotel are somewhat outdated, particularly the bathroom, where a significant amount of water splashes onto the floor during showers.

Very positively surprised by my stay at the Metropole Hotel in Interlaken. From the outside, it might not look spectacular, but the inside is actually very nice. The room are spacious and comfortable. My balcony was facing towards the main road and Jungfrau mountain, so the view was spectacular. The highlight was the staff though, especially Sandro who was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again when returning to Interlaken.

The best part of the hotel was the location and its views. Sitting on the balcony one can enjoy the magnificent views of the Jungfrau peak and also enjoy the paragliders right in front. We had a very nice stay at the hotel. The staff were all very kind and helpful. We will definitely come back in the future.

The breakfast spread could have been better, considering it's a 4 star hotel in a place like Interlaken.

Super clean. Friendly & helpful staff. Great shower and comfortable bed. Amazing view from the balcony! Great location!

Needs coffee / tea making facilities in the room. Not allowed to sit in the bar sofa area unless having a drink even as hotel guests, even when waiting for someone. Sofas available for waiting area are small, insufficient and less nice area. Needs more, nice area for guests to use without being forced for drinks.

Nice location, breakfast and size of the room. Amazing views of the mountains and town. Was nice to have a bathtub for our daughter to use and lots of storage for luggage. Friendly staff.

We stayed in a room on the 6th floor - carpet and decor needs to be updated to 2022 style.

The location was good, about a 10 minute walk from train station. From the outside, it looked plain and nothing like the advertised photos. But, once we walked into out room the view and balcony was wow! There was a rooftop.bar and resturant with amazing views, which was lovely and they had a big outside area on perhaps the 1st floor which looked like the photos. They had a free water station with still and gas water, tea and coffee ect, great gym.

Nothing, all good.
