Excellent accommodation with a warm and hospitable family. The guest rooms are generous and are on a separate floor of the house, providing privacy. Everyday the Mexican breakfast is different and so delicious. Hosts are helpful with local tips and bookings. Highly recommended!

It wasn't a problem for me, but anyone with mobility issues might find the walk up from town to be steep, and the house also has many stairs. Not a complaint, just some information you might need.

Wow - I'm so glad I stayed here. The whole experience was a delight. From the hospitality to the facilities to the location. Rene and crew made me super comfortable, we're super friendly and absolutely improved my experience of Guanajuto with advice, suggestions, and comradery.. Breakfast was outstanding each day. I even got a mini impromptu Mexican salsa cooking demonstration. I'll absolutely return to Guanajuto and will stay here when I do.

My only possible small complaint is I didn't realize the finishing touches of construction were not complete yet for parts of the property outside my bedroom. But everything was in place to be comfortable and happy! Bedroom and bathroom were big and modern and very well done.

This was an all around 10/10 experience like you rarely find them. The rooms were excellent - large, very clean, very comfortable bed, private, and with amazing views. The location was great, close to the city center but not in the crowds/noise. The real selling factor was the owners and the experience they provided. They are extremely genuine, kind, and fun people. You will feel like you are there with friends. The breakfast every morning was truly excellent, and it was very fun having sort of a 'family style breakfast' every morning together with their family. I would 100% recommend booking Casa Tillie, it is easily one of the best places we have stayed in recent years. Excellent price to quality ratio, and the rental will only improve considering they just installed a pool on the day we left!

I loved the location, the views are incredible and it's so peaceful. I really enjoyed having such a generous breakfast every morning and chatting with the hosts. This is a brand new Bed and Breakfast, everything is well designed and spacious, with beautiful furniture and considered modern decor. This place has so much potential. I would highly recommend, it's exceptional value for money

Some final touches still need to be made, but I'm really looking forward to going back and seeing everything when its finished.

The spectacular view of the city! Loved the pool, conversations with Flo, Rene, and Tilly, and the delicious breakfasts! I also loved the compassion the family showed when I needed some emergency dental work and they kindly found and drove me to a dentist who was able to provide me with the treatment I needed.

The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and warm hearted. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and we learnt a lot about Mexico talking with them at the breakfast table. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to come back again. Rene and Flo are Hosts you can only wish for.

We loved the incredible view, comfortable room and bathroom, and warm interactions with our hosts at Casa de Tillie. We went to a fancy rooftop bar in the historic center of Guanajuato, but honestly, the view and ambience were better at Casa de Tillie's rooftop! I will tell everyone I know who is going to Guanajuato that they must stay here.

Staying at Casa de Tillie was an amazing experience! The room itself was very nice and spacious, and the view from the roof terrace is stunning. But what made the stay most pleasant for us was the hospitality of Rene, Flo and their lovely dog! The breakfast was the highlight of the day. Not only was the food great, but the chats with the hosts and their family were an absolute joy. We loved meeting you and will definitely return!

The property is a huge, beautiful modern home with everything you need and great views of the city. Every detail about the room is thoughtful, from the soft bath towels to the delicious cookies left on the pillows! The hosts are so warm and welcoming, they made us feel part of the family and cooked us a delicious breakfast. The location is perfect because you are just a 10min walk from the centre while far enough to escape the noise at night. We could not recommend this place highly enough!
