Staff friendly and helpful. The television wasn't working in our room, and the staff member came straight away to rectify the situation. Rooms were clean. I had an early flight on the morning of departure. It is a very convenient location to catch an early flight. Staff catered to our request for rooms close together as we had an elderly family member with us, and we are their carer. It was very much appreciated.

Some of the overhead lights and one bedside light weren't working in the room. It wasn't an issue at the time, but maybe the facility needs to check on things like that when rooms are cleaned. We didn't report it at the time as we were only there for an overnight stay. The restaurant kitchen was undergoing refurbishment at the time of our stay, so the restaurant menu was very limited.

Loved this place right on the airport site. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Good spacious room with great bathroom shower water pressure really good. Liked that it had its own iron and ironing board. TV was good loved the selection of free films and tv series. Had a meal in the restaurant and was really good and excellent value for money.

Didn't like the bed moving about and found that the cleanliness could gave been a bit better ie the shower door trim was dirty and dust on the TV unit was really thick although this didn't detract from our stay

The room was lovely. We were happy with the room's facilities and found the bed to be very comfortable. Bathroom facilities were all good. We were happy that the room was very quiet and enjoyed having the blackout curtains.

We went to the restaurant, but found the wait to be quite long. We waited almost an hour for two meals. When they came, I was not happy with my meal and did not end up eating all of it. I would have ordered room service from the room, because I was still hungry, but there was no phone or menu in the room, so it was unclear how we were meant to order room service. My partner and I ended up going to the local IGA to get additional food.

Good location convenient to catch a flight out of Mackay. Gym was handy.

The air conditioning is an issue in the rooms. My room was set to heat with a temperature of 26.0C. I mentioned this to reception staff and was told nothing could be done about it as the temperature is set centrally. I was able to reset the air conditioner by removing the key card in the room slot and changed it to cooling. This worked well. The staff may need more training on this issue?

Very clean and comfy room, all things necessary in the room were working and clean. Room service was quick and efficient and the garlic bread was very tasty! Having had a delayed flight and not getting in until late it was fantastic that they offered a 24/7 room service menu.

The TV unit did look a little unstable and at one point when I pressed the side of the unit accidentally as I walked past I did have to reposition the piece and push it back to where it belonged, not a huge deal, but may be worth checking to see if it needs replacing - I didn't mention to staff at the time as when I got up in the morning I was in a rush and had completely forgotten thanks to the comfy bed!

Bed very comfortable, room very spacious and clean, main meal at the restaurant downstairs amazing. We didn't have breaky as had an early flight

I would have liked more space to put toiletry bags and things in the bathroom, no space around the small vanity and no shelving. Plus we weren't told it was a room for disabled which was fine, but would have like to have know it wasn't a normal toilet and shower recess etc

Loved every part about this hotel booking, the room was fantastic, the location was terrific for us, it was priced very well, the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, the staff could not have been more helpful, the check in and check out process was seamless, the free parking was fantastic, the room service dinner was wonderful after a overseas flight and a long drive, can not fault this hotel or the staff.

Absolutely nothing, was the closest to perfection booking we've ever had, can not recommend highly enough.

Oh my gosh, from the moment I walked in I felt so welcome, this trip was an emergency one for surgery and every member of the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The standout was John on the front desk (I hope I have the name correct) I will definitely be back in a different capacity next time :)

We could leave our hire car and walk to hotel as it was right next door to car hire parking. Such a short walk to departures at Mackay Airport. Ideal. The food was good at the restaurant.

We ordered food at the restaurant and I think they forgot our order. I had to enquire what had happened to our order on two occasions We waited almost an hour. Nothing offered for the inconvenience.

- Staff were very friendly and super helpful! - Really good location if flying in or out of Mackay, not ideal if you want to go into town but staff are more then happy to organise taxi etc. - Room was clean, beds were comfortable. - Food at the property is good, reasonably priced & very convenient with restaurants open hours.
