We liked the view of the harbor from our room 402 although the view was partial, we had to sit on the balcony to see the harbor. I think the view from 404 on up would be better. The continental breakfast that came with room had great coffee, the yogurt had artificial sweeteners in it, the eggs came pre shelled and a nice little basket of mini chocolate croissants. You get to choose when they deliver it. The bed was very comfortable, they even have a pillow menu. The staff was friendly and helpful and we never had trouble find a parking space in the garage. It is an easy walk to the aquarium.

The breakfast was very small and without much choice; I had to go elsewhere for more food as there was no restaurant at the hotel. Please add more choice to breakfast (granola, pancakes etc.) and increase the size of portions so that a normal person can get full. Given the price of the room, the breakfast was a disappointment. Also, when you paid so much, it's disappointing that there is no complimentary parking but you need to pay a lot extra for it. It was 56 dollars for two nights!

The hotel was wonderful. The rooms were large and appointed very well. The in-room breakfast was a great feature. In fact, we liked our one day stay so much that we wanted to book a second night.

We did not like the front desk"s response when we wanted to book a 2nd night. We found a great rate on line, and we were asked not to book it because the internet was not updated, and it would put them in an overbooked situation. He also said that he had only one room available at a price that was about double the online price. We turned that down and booked on line for the cheaper price anyway. The front desk shouldn't have told us that, very poor customer service. If we were traveling to Monterey and found that booking online (as I did for the 1st night), I would have just booked it and not have a discussion with the front desk.

Nice hotel, good location, Seals and birds viewing from the window with waterfront balcony.

Beautiful king room with balcony overlooking the coast. Had a lovely ocean view. The bathroom was a nice size. The closet had plenty of room. Hot tubs on the 2nd and 4th floors. 4th floor one with a view of the ocean and harbor. It's lovely seeing the otters go by every day. Saw quite a few mother otters with babies on their tummies. Could easily spot them from our balcony. The hotel provided binoculars helped to get a closer look. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to the aquarium and all the other stuff on Cannery Row. Had a lovely time wrapping up our honeymoon there. Wish we could have stayed a couple more nights. Will be returning.

Hot water went out for 1 evening. But it was fixed quickly.

The room was large, with a partial view of the bay. I really like that they had a couch to sit on with a coffee table. The bed was also comfortable and I like that it had a shelf behind it with electrical outlets, and shelfs on each side of the bed. The bathroom was also large, with a long counter and two sinks. That was really great. There was also a balcony with chairs and a table. It was also nice to have a continental breakfast delivered to the room every morning. It was wonderful to sit on the balcony each morning having our breakfast while looking at the bay.

The location is not really in the midst of Cannery Row, its on the very end , about a 15 minute walk to get down to most of the restaurants and to the Aquarium.

The location was perfect. it’s central to Canary Row and Lovers Point beach. The view from our room balcony was beautiful. I appreciate the room service continental breakfast.. the pastries were fresh and delicious. The extra little attention to comfort were noticed…. the fuzzy floor mats under each sink, the body pillow, and the his and hers bathrobes, the wine opener, and the binoculars. The bathroom was large…larger than most hotels. The bed was comfortable.

The shower was not clean. There was someone else’s long hair all over the tub. It was so noticeable that it was evident that it wasn’t cleaned. Also, we paid for 3 guest but only got breakfast for 2. I did order for 3.

I like the cleanliness and the location of the property. The room was very clean that it made you feel at ease. The location of the property gives you a beautiful view that you can see from the room and you get to wake up seeing the sunrise which was really nice.

One thing I didn’t like was how sensitive the smoke detector was in the room. I like taking warm to hot showers but I didn’t expect it would trigger the smoke detector to alarm.

The location was perfect to visit cannery row, Fishermen Wharf and downtown. The room was larger than most and had a wonderful balcony overlooking the harbor. Great bathroom set up with two sinks and closet conveniently located in bathroom. Also had a wonderful roof top jacuzzi. Also a nice breakfast served to your room at the time you requested. Parking on site.

The view from our room was fabulous, ocean bay right off the balcony. Ocean first thing you see when entering the room. Continental Breakfast excellent, delivered on time, fresh fruit and pastry. We were here for our 25th anniversary, couldn't have asked for more. Staff extremely friendly & seemed to be very happy. Thank you so very much. Highly recommended.

Nothing could have been improved on. Bathroom very roomy, 2 sinks was great. Bed and room very comfortable, ocean sounds to fall asleep to, and wake up as well. Wonderful!
