Quiet location, with solid walls between rooms. Adequate, I mean it's a motel, after all, with a larger than usual pool. It's a minute's walk from a lovely beach, and 15 min easy beach side path to the village. Bicheno is a lovely, wee place, central to everything you want to see on the East Coast of beautiful Tasmania. Perfect for bush walking, long beach strolls, exploring the rocks, visiting the penguins, indulging in a tasting at Waubs Whisky Distillery, and definitely visiting at least one winery. We loved Devil's Corner, a 20 min drive away, with its great seafood and million dollar view across to the Freycinet Peninsular. Tasmania is still Australia's best kept secret.

Not set up for self-catering. Bare minimum amenities supplied. Byo cutlery and crockery and keep your food supplies minimum, the fridge is miniscule.

Room, bathroom, storage and kitchenette all good layouts, clean and tidy, bed comfortable and super clean, parking convenient to door. Bit unnerving to only speak with operator via intercom and I think we had the complex to ourselves. (It is winter in Tassie) I love this little place for its convenience and quietness. Was an issue with being unable to operate heater but fortunately it wasn't cold enough to warrant bothering operator.

Nothing really

We chose this property for its proximity to Freycinet National Park as we wanted to explore the area over 2 days. It’s a perfect spot, small but very comfortable motel, our room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Bicheno itself is a beautiful little spot and just down the road in walking distance is Redbill beach and it’s gorgeous white soft sand. There are lots of accommodation options in Bicheno but this place was perfect for what we needed and is priced very well too. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

No complaints at all from us

This hotel was in a great location in Bicheno and you could park your car right out the front of your room. There was a pool but it was too cold for me to use when I stayed here. It was a close drive to the town, beach, blow-hole and cafes and the owner/manager told me to watch out for the penguins that made their way into town at dusk. Very cute!

The owners were very welcoming and made us feel at home. They are in the process of renovating the motel and are doing a great job. I highly recommend this establishment. We had an infestation of flying ants one night and it was dealt with efficiently and quickly

Nothing just two things would be nice that I noticed when the place was parking a few struggled to get in and out maybe if the middle garden could be a little smaller for cars to get out of area when reversing out that's all love staying there 😊

First appearances the motel looked lovely. well kept gardens and plenty of parking. The room was spacious and very clean and tidy. The bathroom was bigger than most and als very clean. The heating worked well. Easy walk to the beach to see the penguins

parking was a little tight when full of cars. the curtains didn't meet in the middle meaning the morning sun was right in our eyes. there could have been an extra powerpoint near the bed

It is very warm in the room and the staff turn the heater on before we arrived here, it is so sweet and many thanks!!The room is very clean that we can stay here happily it is near the sea and can see awesome view of beachside!

provide the free beer that we can enjoy our night time. ahahah

Lovely property, even lovelier host who shared a lot of tips and accommodated every single of our requests 🥰 Free laundry is a bonus! Beaches nearby to try and catch some penguins coming back home in the evening.

A little long walk from town (if you don’t have a car)

Had obviously been refurbished and new ower was lovely...was no microwave to heat our dinner but a call to the owner and she delivered one

There was only 1 sheet on the bed and a light cover...had to get the spare blanket out as it was freezing....have never stayed anywhere before and been shortsheeted
