Staff were friendly, luggage storage was provided which was handy. Check in and check out were efficient, and times were reasonable. The bed was super comfy and the room had a nice ambience, large TV. Tissues, tea, milk etc provided. The lobby area had a good friendly vibe with some games, lots of comfy seating, a photo booth. Common areas felt clean and safe. Great price, and enjoyed our three nights.

A mini fridge in the room would be great, as well as some more storage as the furnishing was very bare bones. I'm not sure how well the room was cleaned as there were bottle caps under our bed that weren't from us, and one of the glasses had a black mark on it

Excellent position 5 mins from Deansgate Station. Staff very welcoming, check in fast with a nice refreshing cocktail on arrival with or without vodka, very well stocked bar with nice background music also food/pizza menu. Quirky reception area with oversized games to play ( Jenga and Connect 4 !! ) if that's your thing. Umbrellas to hire for the day £3 charge!!. Bedroom clean, lovely linen and towels and toiletries, tea/coffee tray, and hair dryer. Breakfast ok served in the bar/reception area help yourself could go down up until 10am we arrived 9.45am enough left I only had toast and jam, one of those slow machines that you feed bread through took 5 goes to look done. Coffee from machine lukewarm and weak but plenty of sachets to make your own. Check out was 12 noon which was perfect for us as our train was 1pm. All in all a good stay would stay again.

Hotel was really cool and quirky and had a lot of nice little touches. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Also had a full length mirror and good lighting, this is a bonus for us girls! They also provide a hairdryer and shampoo and body wash. Bar downstairs was nice, you also get a free drink on arrival. Plenty to do as well, as they have games, food and a photobooth! Location was good, walking distance from most things and a lot of restaurants, bars and grocery shops nearby. Blackout curtains were also great.

Hotel was a little noisy from 5am with the trams starting up, but not too loud that it was overly disturbing. Bathroom was a little small but still sufficient and clean. Room temperature wasn't adjustable, so I was a little hot during the night.

Location! It was perfect spot, everything we needed to do was within easy walking distance, restaurants bars and shops all on your doorstep. We stayed at The Lowry last time we visited, this location was so much better. Beds were incredibly comfortable and black out curtains were a bonus. Slept so well.

Not enough milk sachets so unable to make more than 1 drink! We stayed two nights and the towels and bed were not made or changed until after 5pm, so we had no clean towels to use and no phones in room to contact reception. Never had this before. Also TV was not working on first day which we told room service but no one came fix it.

Super friendly staff. Nothing was too much problem. Housekeeping did a superb daily clean. Truly spotless. The location is excellent with anything important in close walking distance. My spacious 6th floor room was on an external corner with great views up to the Town Hall to 2 sides, and was really quiet as requested.

The only single thing is having zero wardrobe or clothes storage in the room. I get it that it’s supposed to be mostly a short stay hotel for most business or weekend visitors. In my superior room there was only a type of cargo / hanging net near the door with a few clothes hangers. Therefore I had to keep everything in my suitcases in the floor which was a bit of a pain for a whole week. Also, no security safe as far as I could find, but I didn’t look too hard. Nevertheless, a relatively small issue and it didn’t really put me off.

An IT incident of sorts threw me out of the reservation so I had to be put in a sister (at least, very nice) hotel for one of the nights. It entailed a disruption since it was much farther away. Staff Crispin and Karen handled my case very well and were able to set me back up at the hotel the next day. Staff is just really great, with great recommendations, and very friendly, helpful, human-driven service throughout my stay.

The reservations system messed up on me. I assume this was a case of bad luck, and perhaps a wider issue rather than a local issue, and is very rare, and got fixed for me in the end.

Very friendly staff, clean, quirky decor and live musician in the bar on the Saturday night I stayed. Loved the idea of an ironing room on each floor though I didn’t need to use it. Felt very safe and welcoming, I was a solo female guest meeting friends for the night and the hotel seemed to be filled with groups of ladies staying. Food was good and although no room service they provided it in a takeaway box for me to take back to my room while I was getting ready.

Minor damage to a runner on the otherwise spotless shower which made the door difficult to use but I reported it and they seemed to take my concerns seriously about getting it repaired.

The location was great, but the whole vibe was just amazing. You feel like you’re talking to the actual people who work there, and not just some sterile brand face. They were attentive and seemed to have been empowered to actually help you. You feel like you’re never going to hear “sorry I’m not allowed to do that.” The games on the ground floor are a perfect touch to create a family feel in the place.

The only thing I’d change is that you couldn’t turn the air conditioning on, so the room was too warm for us most of the night. It cooled down in the early hours but it meant we didn’t sleep all that well.

Incredibly central to the city, had a few things planned with friends over the city and was never more than a 15 minute walk from anything. Room was a little small, but I travelled alone so it was plenty of room for just myself. When I arrived, the lady that checked me in gave me a free choice of rooms, and when I couldn’t pick one she said “I’ll give you a nice one.” She put me in a room on the 7th floor with a fantastic view of the skyline. I spent so much time looking out my window because I just loved the view.

I’m a sucker for a big shower with great water pressure, which I didn’t have.

The staff were really friendly, Sam checked us in, & offered us a drink on arrival, he was such a pleasant man, he also helped me out changing my location on my phone, so I could order an Uber.

The TV in the room kept turning the picture off, so we couldn't watch it. This wasn't the fault of the hotel but we missed our Uber because the hotel entrance is pedestrianised, we didn't know where the pick up point was & consequently had to pay twice for our trip out.
