We stayed in Le Petit Paris for 2 night and could not asked for a better place to stay after the mad time in Cape Town. From the minute we arrived till we left we got an excellent. We contact the owner to let her know we might be earlier than the official check in time and when we arrived our room was available so we could bring in our cases. Breakfast is excellent both the quality and verity. Location is excellent- only 10 minutes from most restaurants and the tram office. Staff very friendly and always happy to help. Highly recommended for everyone visiting Franschhoek.

Amazing views of the mountain, beds were beyond comfortable (slept like a dream), the owners and staff made us feel exceptionally welcome, breakfast was delicious and a great selection to choose from. Beautiful property that’s so close to everything you need in town. Would definitely stay again!

Only issue was the bathroom door. It’s doesn’t stay closed when you close it from inside the bathroom. Only when you pull the door from the outside. As such, if you are in there the wind keeps blowing it open which was not great if you’re sharing a room with someone. Out of everything this was the only minor concern.

Comfortable room - great to have many plug points (3-pin/2-pin) and a plug close enough to a mirror when drying hair :) Breakfast - thank you for having gluten-free bread! Location - it was great to be able to take a short walk to the centre All those we came into contact with were so friendly - it made the stay so relaxed

Just an observation which may have only been us - the top stair to our room was slightly higher than the rest, so we often did a little trip at the top. But in the bigger scheme of things, this was a very small point!

The guest house was located just back from the busy town centre, but within easy walking distance to the restaurants and the wine tram ticket offices. It was great to have a lounge to sit and relax with our friends who also stayed at the same guest house. The showers were lovely and hot thanks to gas geysers for the rooms.

It is an old house with wooden floors that are a bit noisy but are part of the character of the house. Our room was right at reception with a seating area outside where people gathered, so we couldn't really relax in our room.

What a beautiful property to stay at, we had a ground floor family room which also had a kitchen. From the master bedroom you can access the rear garden which we found very pleasant sipping wine as the sun went down. The pool area although only small was very well kept and had both loungers in or out of the sun. The location of the property is perfect within easy walking distance. From the moment you arrive the staff look after everything you need and providing advice on the many restaurants and wine tours. There is a secure car park at the rear of the property. After a very comfortable sleep we had a lovely breakfast served by Billy in the dining room. You have the use of a lovely lounge and honesty bar. The hosts have thought of everything it truly was a delightful place to stay. We stayed 3 nights but you could easily stay 2 weeks and still find something new to explore in Franschhoek. Thank you some much to our hosts I can definitely recommend this exquisite B&B.

There was nothing to dislike

Great hotel, beautifully maintained inside and out with a lovely swimming pool. Our room and bathroom( Rochelle) were large and well equipped with amazing views overlooking the pool and to the mountains in the distance, The owners Steve and Shanley were super helpful and gave us some great recommendations, vineyards, restaurants and places to visit on our travels. They even organised Francis, the lovely tuktuk driver for us. Lovemore and Billy who helped at hotel were delightful and again really helpful and fun to chat with. It’s in a great location for exploring Franschhoek and beyond Would definitely visit again and thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days here.

What a fantastic place, within a 2-minute walk from the main street of Franschhoek! I loved everything about this hotel - the quaintness, the original features/furniture, the delicious and extremely filling breakfast and last but certainly not least, the staff! Billy and Lovemore could not do enough and greeted you with the warmest, biggest smile each morning. Billy welcomed me when I arrived and immediately displayed incredible hospitality. He made some great restaurant recommendations too, one of which I went to. The lady helping out (whose name I did not catch!) was also extremely friendly and told me lots about the area and the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely delicious - everything was fresh and made to order, with the best view of the mountains from the dining area. They have thought of everything at the hotel too - water, coffee and snacks in the room plus basic toiletries. The secure parking was a bonus too. I only stayed two nights but wish I could have stayed longer! Thank you - a most enjoyable, memorable stay. I shall be back!

We loved the location which was a 15-20min walk from the wine tram and the walk along the High Street enroute was lovely. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. Our room was huge and my 11yo twins and myself shared a bed rather than use the single beds. Highly recommend for location and experiencing Franshoek.

Mother Natures’s lightening bolt that wiped out all the electric in the village for a while….though of course, Le Petit Paris managed wonderfully given the circumstances.

It’s difficult to précis it down to just a few sentences but I will try. The location is perfect. The staff are quite frankly the most happiest and helpful team I have come across in years. Competent, articulate and friendly. The place is absolutely spotless. The breakfasts are cooked superbly and the choice is excellent. We were unable to get an Uber ride the first night of our stay and were going to be late for dinner. Shan the owner kindly drove us up to the Arkeste restaurant at the winery which just about sums up this place, nothing is too small for them to try and make your stay so welcoming. We will definitely be back.

Perfectly located within walking distance of the town but very quiet with a wonderful view of the magnificent mountains, this delightful place provides pleasure and comfort at every level. The warmly friendly staff provide proactive and willing assistance whenever needed. The little garden is charming and a beautiful setting for quiet reflection. Our only regret was not staying longer and we will definitely be back!
