Selection in breakfast buffet on Christmas Day and staff kindly provided coconut milk on request, heated family pool with entertainment options for the kids, terrace with sea view, the hotel accepts pets (they could even go inside the bag next to the main pool), free parking - both underground and overground

No entertainment on Christmas evening, very poor quality dinner buffet on Christmas Eve ; barbecue for lunch on Christmas day was not cooked, ants in the room, no utensils in the room, cold water in the main pool therefore the family pool was packed, the closest supermarket (small) was 10-15min walk

Rooftop Suite Pools Views Proximity to the sea

As a 5 star hotel there were interactions with staff that didn’t feel 5 star. I asked for glasses to our suite, I was told no and to go and get them myself at the bar. I asked for a bucket of ice and some of the bar men were a bit snappy that I asked for a bucket of ice. I am in a rooftop suite I want to enjoy drinks with friends on the roof terrace I’m not sure why this was a problem. Check in/check out process is not clear, you could be there one hour waiting on the sofa and people who only arrive to reception jump in and skip ahead of you. Whole process is confusing Quality of certain foods at breakfast could be better

Great staff and we really loved the pool areas. It was easy to go to the bar to grab a drink and snack and the infinity pool is just amazing! (Would be nice if there was a bar or something closer though). The rooms were really clean and big and just as I pictured them. And this is definitely a nice hotel to bring your kids to, as the area for them was perfect. And the plus was that, that the other pools were well isolated from the kids area so you weren't bothered at all! Me and my mom really enjoyed this stay and I think we would be back! With or without kids :D

Location is really nice but it is expensive to take a taxi to go to Los Christianos or Playa Americas. There is however that stops right behind the hotel which is great, but it doesn't come that often, maybe once per hour. The rooms were a bit noisy, you could hear if there were kids screaming in the hall or someone vaccuming. This didn't bother us that much though. However the Saturday party from Hard Rock hotel next door was a bit too much. But that happens only once a week. Also a bit annoying that you have to book a table on all the restaurants if you want to eat at the hotel. Was no problem with the buffet, but you really had to book in advance if you wanted to eat at the other restaurants, as they were often fully booked.

The hotel is spotless, always staff cleaning. The sun loungers were cleaned one morning. Gardens are immaculate. Pools clean. Probably the cleanest Hotel I've stayed in. Was built in 2019 so new. Good sound proofing on the balcony door. Could hear next door still. Bed comfy. Free daily bus to Playa da americas. Was upgraded to sea view, huge room and large balcony

Pool drinks were weak. Couldn't see any water dispensers anywhere around the property this would have been nice. Buffet quite repetitive, our last day we checked out at 12pm and was getting picked up at 3.30 in the morning I could've booked a lunch time slot in the buffet but when I tried to book this after 12pm on the app it said I couldn't so I spoke to reception and she said only breakfast was included on last day yet I was able to book it on the app before 12. Was told when we checked in that on half board we'd get 1 drink with our meal yet when we checked out we were charged for all our meal drinks. Not much to do outside the hotel, would be nice to have a local shop or onside shop that sells souvenirs etc

We chose the Atlantic Sunset resort to celebrate an anniversary. We just wanted to relax, enjoy the sun and warmth, and eat good food. Mission accomplished! We chose the Privilege option in order to have access to a specialty restaurant and the rooftop infinity pool that overlooks the sea - and the choice was worth the extra cost. The check-in process as well as responding to our various questions were all handled in a relaxed, efficient, personable manner. Our room was a junior suite with lots of space and a generous balcony from which we enjoyed a sea and land view. While we favored the rooftop pool, there were a few other very nice pools as well. The so-called Privilege restaurant offered a lovely fine-dining menu, and the staff were terrific. There are mostly other hotels and apartment buildings in the immediate neighborhood, but there is some pleasant retail too, and a very nicely landscaped waterfront promenade. We were very happy with our stay because our goal was to relax in a nice resort.

The standard buffet restaurant was spacious and full of fairly typical buffet options — not particularly special. The menu of the poolside cafe is rather limited. We had hoped to dine at the Japanese restaurant but it was fully booked by the time we arrived, and open only two nights a week (we visited outside of peak season). There’s a large Hard Rock Hotel complex just across the little bay which, at certain times, shared its loud music playlist a bit too much.

Beautiful design, everything was in great shape, fairly new. Nice friendly staff, gorgeous infinity pool. The location is very good, many high-end hotels in the area and restaurants. It is a touristic part of the island. Breakfast and dinner were amazing, good food and a large variety to choose from.

I didn't get a sea view room, but I got nice views of the Hard Rock hotel pool across the road. Unfortunately the Hard Rock hotel is very loud, they play music from 11AM till 11PM and you can hear it in the room even with the windows closed. The sound insulation from the hallway or outside is not very good, but manageable. What was not manageable was that on the day we arrived, Hard Rock hotel had a masive pool party and you could even feel the base of the music inside the room with the windows closed. I just arrived after a 24 hour journey and couldn't sleep until 9PM when it finished. This was a one time thing so maybe I was unlucky. Probably not such a big problem if you get a room on the other side of the hotel, but it was full and they couldn't change my room.

August 2022

it was our second time in this hotel, and we may return in the future) The area is well planned, with areas for families with kids, water slides, lids club, then standard pool area, then adults only area with separate pools for each zone. The staff is very nice and friendly, the rooms are great, the food in the buffet restaurant is of good quality. I liked that it is further away from the busier tourist areas, you can stroll along the sea or jog in the morning. Taxi to Del Duque sandy beach costs 12-15 euros and 10 min long. I wouldn’t mind a small shop in the hotel with toiletries though. Mid August was the peak of season and the hotel was packed, some shortage of sun-beds and a bit of queue to breakfast, but we had a great stay.

Staff was so nice. It’s not a huge property so it was easy to get around with small kids. Kids club was great for crafts and they organized a pirate themed treasure hunt when we were there. Room was nice and very comfortable. They helped me organize some balloons in the room and a cake for my husband’s birthday. My husband used spa and said it was great. Would definitely stay again!

Kids splash pad area wasn’t heated so the water was quite cold in February and my kids wouldn’t use it. Also would’ve loved a bit more variety in the all inclusive package but these are small things. We were very happy with our stay!

Magnificent hotel, a true 5 stars in all aspects. Large room, everything spotless clean, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable (beds were fantastic), bathroom superb, enormous shower, all new, shining and beautiful. The best hotel we ever stayed regarding children facilities. All the staff of the hotel (from cleaning lady to restaurant staff) was adorable to children, you can see and feel that children are welcome and loved here. "Daisy Club" on site has each day from morning until 5pm plenty of nice activities for the little ones and in the evening they also have specific activities (animation, dancing, shows etc), which are excellent - children were thrilled. The animators were absolutely great with children. Such a nice atmosphere of joy and fun every evening. The water park and pool for children - marvelous. As well as the other 2 pools. We had half board at the restaurant and it was exquisite, huge variety and excellent quality, impeccable service. Honestly, I could go on and on and still I wouldn't praise enough this hotel. It is simply fabulous, especially for families with children ! We will return here every year with our family, we were delighted in all aspects.

Everything was beyond perfect!

Pools were excellent for kids to enjoy. Buffet for dinner was changed day by day. We are glad to have all inclusive plan. We could drink and eat whenever we wanted. The dinner on 31st Dec was highlighted moment. We were satisfied with that. Overall service was the best in my experience. Highly recommend. If possible, would like to come here in summer season.

It took one hour from north airport. I arranged taxi by myself. Once got to this hotel, it was not so much problem.
