The salon/ common area was fantastic! The rooms were cleaned very well daily. The beds were pretty comfortable, and the staff that I interacted with were very nice and helpful. The environment for me was very calm and peaceful for a hostel in the middle of the busiest part of Madrid.

My only minor issue was that it seemed the AC worked harder during the day, but I tend to get hot at night, and did get a bit hot on the top bunk of the 5th floor. Also, bed curtains would be a bonus to add privacy. Also, I wish the kitchen had a stove that was accessible to the guests because I was trying to be healthy and not spend a lot of money, and would have liked to cook something. But overall, the place was amazing and beautiful!

We had a room on the top floor with a little balcony overlooking the street below. It was so fun and entertaining to watch and listen to the street life below. The soundproofing was so good that you couldn’t hear a thing from outside when the windows were closed. The room was a bit small, but it was very comfortable for our family of two parents with two young adult children. The bathroom was small but adequate. The location could not have been better. Very centrally located and within walking distance to everything in Central Madrid. Great little bistro across the street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast for 10 euros a person. Cool bar in the hotel. Stopped in there for drinks several times. We highly recommend Toc Hostel Madrid!

I really liked the building and the location. This is my second TOC hostel, the first one was in Barcelona and the 2nd time in Madrid.

I can say there are some things missing in Madrid like the organizers for each person, where you can put your everyday things like creams, shampoo, etc. also it would be great if they had hangers in the shower cause it’s very uncomfortable to shower, whole some of your things are hanging on the door and some on the floor. Meanwhile in TOC Madrid, you could leave your stuff for free for hours, while in TOC Barcelona it was paid.

The Toc Hostel was a great value for the location and the comfort. The staff were really helpful. They laid down a ramp to get in and out for my whole week stay. When the entry was difficult they ran out to assist me. For an old building the elevator was roomy. The architecture of the building was amazing. It was very close to Sol metro stop.

Wheelchair accessibility was okay but not wonderful. No accessible bathroom or shower. If you can't go a few steps on your own seek another place.

Great location - central to the main attractions. And about 1km walk to the bus station to go to the airport. Communal facilities were extremely well equipped. Loved the seating areas where you can chill. The hostel felt safe. Beautiful decor in the communal areas. Breakfast buffet was excellent. We stayed in the classic family room which suited our group of 5 and we were given clean towels. The front desk staff were all so helpful and friendly. Free luggage storage available. There is a free walking tour which meets at reception. I highly recommend this hostel.

I had just finished walking the Camino Francais and needed a night in Madrid to visit the Prado before flying home. For the price this was a tremendous value and great location. The room had only 6 bunks which were clean and comfortable as were the bathrooms and showers. I especially liked the 2nd floor lounge where people could mix and mingle grab a drink or breakfast. I'm an early riser and managed to grab a nice breakfast at the restaurant just across the street as well as dinner later that day. I left to visit the Prado and the staff stored my pack until 9pm when i came to retreive it and head to the airport. I would definitely stay here again on future trips

The air conditioning in the room was at a suitable temperature. The public activity room on the second floor was fully equipped with coffee, internet, and charging. It was very comfortable. You can buy alcohol at the bar in the evening. I lay on the sofa and enjoyed a beer. The light music also made people feel happy.

Although I can check in at 3 o'clock, I waited until 4 o'clock before they cleaned up the room. I had to wait for an extra hour in the activity lounge on the second floor. Small tips but not important for rank, although I don't need to bring a key, is it a bit too safe to use the fingerprint system to open the door? In fact, I don't want to give my fingerprint information to a hotel

I loved that this hostel was right in the center. We had many stores and restaurants near us. We had the corte ingles right next to us, which helped us out when we needed to buy stuff. I loved the room we received. Our room had a balcony, and our room was very clean. When we arrived early, they provided storage for our luggage. Which helped us out a lot. Reception explained everything well, such as: the area, how to open the door with your fingerprint, and breakfast. We loved breakfast, and the coffee was delicious. On our last day, we had to leave early, and we wouldn't make it to breakfast. Reception explained that they had a picnic available. They gave us a bag with a sandwhich, donuts, and fruit. I appreciated this picinic bag do much. We were able to eat before going on our flight, and I loved this picnic idea. The place feels very welcoming and amazing service.We will surely recommend and come back to this beautiful hostel.

The room is clean, storage area is spacious, provided a security box, breakfast was ok. The location was superb, Puerta del Sol and metro station just 2 mins walk away. Super convenient! Security was good, offered free luggage storage, has 2 basin in the room and a big mirror for wash up. Good and recommended. Would like a second stay.

No hair shampoo criess There's no curtain to cover up the bed, only a board that can cover maybe a quarter of the bed make a little less privacy.

The check in was quick and the staff at the reception was very welcoming. I requested for a lower bed and it was given in an instant. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable with fresh sheets and a pillow.. There were two toilets and shower cubicles inside the room with shower gel. The airconditioning was superb. The towel was large and fingerprint access to the room was very convenient. The location of the hostel is in the center of the city and the metro is just a few minutes walk away. The building is very nice and offers a lift.
