We especially appreciated The staff, Omer and all his team they were more than perfect, always there to help us which made our stay in Istanbul magnificent. the location is perfect, 3min walk from we sultanahmet agia Sophia… the metro + tram station are 5min walk away. if you are looking for a place with very good value for money, you will find it at pege hotel.

I just didn't like the bed and the pillow, but if I had asked the team to change my pillow they would have done that with pleasure. do not hesitate they will always be there to help you. I plan to come back to Istanbul and will surely come to Pege hotel

Friendly staff, great location, entry level luxury rooms, clean was good.

Sadly no breakfast. Not major but in the basement family room everytime a toilet is flushed or water is used then you hear the run off falling. Feels like water is about to fall on you if you in the bathroom lol.

Good hotel, good location, everything is good! The pretty girl at the reception always smiled brightly and kindly at my wife and almost never smiled at me, it was very noticeable, in the end I even began to think that something was wrong with me. Although I did nothing wrong, I paid the full amount at once and was a good client in my opinion. Maybe I speak a little worse English than my wife, but I deserve such smiles too!) Otherwise, everything is fine)

We made a booking for our trip in May 2024. Before the actual staying date, we have some questions regarding how to go to the hotel from the airport. Omer added me on whatsapp and provided a very helpful information. We faced some challenges during our trip in Izmir so I asked him for his help and he has been really helpful as well. During our trip in Istanbul, we faced a very long line waiting to enter Hagia Sophia and Basilica Cistern and we couldn't go in, so we decided to go back to the hotel and ask for Omer's suggestion which he suggest the timing to visit Hagia Sophia and help book an online ticket for Basilica Cistern so we don't have to get in line. When we visited Hagia Sophia the next day following his suggestion, Hagia Sophia was almost empty with only a few people!! We can get in the Basilica Cistern without waiting in the queue as well. I'm very impressed with how very helpful and kind Omer is. If I have a chance to revisit Istanbul, I will choose Pege hotel without a doubt.

The staff was so welcoming and friendly! Each person we interacted with was helpful and clearly wanting to make our stay great. Our room was cozy and the beds were super comfortable! And we loved the location - just a few minutes walk from the mosques and the best hammam, but on a quiet side street so we were never bothered by noise. There were also 2 great little places to eat on our street with wonderful pide and kabobs! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Istanbul.

Omar was an amazing host, was very friendly and helpful as a first time visitor to Istanbul. the hospitality was fantastic. hotel was good value for money and very close to all the main attractions. outside the hotel there was local cafes where you could get breakfast or lunch for a very reasonable price compared to other restaurants.

this has nothing to do with the hotel but Istanbul inflate there price of food for tourist to a ridiculous price. advice eat where the locals eat.

The hotel is all about location. It sits on a quiet side street but is steps away from everything you want to see in Sultanahamet. Lots of great restaurants and cafes are close by or a quick tram ride away. The big stand-out feature is Omar, the manager. He welcomes you in, gives you a quick explanation of the surroundings, and he is a fountain of information about sights to see. The rooms were comfortable and clean with good air conditioning and great wifi. I would gladly come back and stay here again. Thank you Omar!

I'll be honest. This is not a Hilton. But the location, the price, and the service make the Pege worth it. But mostly the location!

The hotel Pege is really amazing 😍. The staff is very friendly and they help you with everything. The map with locations and trains I carried all the time while being in Istanbul. The rooms are very clean and they clean the rooms every day while bringing water, coffee, sugar.. one day they even brought us candy. The street where the hotel is located is very quiet. The stores/ bakeries in that street close up until 9 pm. The hotel is also located next to government building and it's very safe area. You are incredibly close to Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazar and all those fancy touristic stops. We even walked to Galata Tower 😁 but public transport is amazing in Turkey so make sure to use it. I would like to thank Omer Muhtar who provided guidance and he even has his own website/ social media where he recommends the locations to visit. Make sure to utilize that. I really enjoyed my time here, I am recommending it to everyone because it was such a worry-free trip thanks to wonderful stuff and location of the hotel.

Amazing location and staff. Ömer and his staff are very helpful and accommodating. This is a budget simple place so don’t expect any amenities but it is clean and comfortable. I was too busy exploring Istanbul so I only come back to shower and crash. The people here are 5*

No English TV Channel but I didn’t have time to watch TV. Wifi can be sketchy at times

Ömer was incredibly kind to us and went above and beyond to help with all our issues. The location was perfect; we could easily reach the main attractions in Sultanahmet by walking. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, making our stay very pleasant. The staff's warm hospitality made us feel right at home.
