- Location is fantastic; right at the start of Royal Mile, close to Holyrood palace and Arthur’s Seat - Has a tidy Kitchenette in the hall but sufficiently catered for cooking (relevant for family with young kids) - Neat and clean, good quality toiletries

- Only thing I hated was the stairs to the property. Our unit was on the 2nd floor with steep stairs and no lift access. If you have heavy luggage, be ready to bear the grunt and pain. Had there been lift access, the property gets a 10! - Small addition like door stops to be provided. It’s strange not being there given all doors have auto-hinge close! Those can just be left at the doors as it really helps for those with young kids - Washing machine to be provided as it would be quite helpful to multi-day guests. If not in unit itself, can be a shared common utility

Location right on Royal Mike was amazing, quiet and had all necessary amenities. The apartment decor was contemporary and very pleasing. The kitchenette worked out very well. We wanted a two bedroom as my sister and I need our own space and having separate bathrooms was a bonus.

Unfortunately, the electronic access (via internet) was not functioning after our arrival. the telephone staff was excellent in providing assistance by providing a manual code as well as an actual key for the unit. The living room furniture was not very comfortable, the sofa being very hard. That was likely because it was a sofa bed. We managed to remedy this discomfort with pillows from the bedroom.

Great location, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Perfect for a long weekend in Edinburgh. Lots of instructions ahead of arrival. The kitchen area was well equipped.

When we arrived it was freezing (it was -1 outside and the heating wasn’t on), contacted support who did sort it but the heating then took a while to warm up. The light in the hallway is a sensor so no option to turn off, this really disrupts you when using the toilet in the night. This has been complained about multiple times in reviews and still not altered. The rooms could do with draws for putting your clothes in, only clothes rails in rooms so if staying for a while and unpacking this isn’t great.

The rooms were functional. The beds were very comfortable. The towels and the sheets were all very clean . The Kitchen Cabinet was well stocked. The water heater worked well. Overall a nice apartment to stay in for a couple of days.

It would have been nice if the property offered house keeping services on site. If they do, there were no indication of the same. The TV was placed way lower than the eye level which didn't make TV a pleasurable watch. The washbasin in the bathroon was definitely clogged and we were unable to use it for the last 2 days of the stay. If there was maintenance personnel available at the property, it would have been a 10 minute job but there was nobody that we could see.

I loved how integrated the apartment is to the Royal mile and other sights you may need to get around as a tourist. I brought my parents here for their first visit to Edinburgh (ours wasn’t) and it totally lived up to the comfort and cozy vibe it offered prior to booking. Our apartment looked over Calton Hill and we were blessed with amazing weather during the stay. On the street but completely quiet and quaint, this was our perfect getaway from London’s busy life. Very well organised and with clear instructions it was a well-managed property.

Except the fact that there are no lifts which is a bit tricky with my parents, I think it is a lovely value for money stay.

The location on Edinburgh's Historic Royal Mile was excellent. Also, prominently posted was a list of favorite restaurants and other sites to see in the area. We tried some of them and they were great! The kitchenette crammed into the room was amazing!

Minor quibbles (we really had to think to come up with these): *knowing how to turn on and off the towel warmer in the bathroom *we ran out of bathroom tissue on our last morning *recommendations of nearby grocery stores would have been nice *a house blend of coffee was promised but not delivered (this was not a big enough deal to knock a star off, I just like my coffee).

Prime location, walking distance to everything. Room is wonderful, very private, modern. Bed is comfortable. Mini kitchen is absolute delight, very well equipped. Can cook real food there. The lighting in the room is interestingly designed and would be absolutely perfect with dimmers. I would definitely install dimmers, because it was a bit too bright for my eyes for evening time.

At first, we couldn't find usb port to charge the phone, called manager and they say there is none. This wasn't helpful. We found one usb port only after a few days living in the room. It was there, just very hard to see. A description where to find it would be helpful, or maybe a just sticker on the wall pointing to it. The hallway light didn't have a switch and only worked from sensor, no switch. Going to the bathroom in the middle of the night was very unpleasant and disrupted our good night sleep every time. Bathroom sink was clogged when we arrived, so we called for maintenance. It was fixed the very next day, which is ok.

The property was in a wonderful location, in a walking distance of both old and new town, for a property so central it was incredibly quiet and peaceful when inside. The property was modern and we felt very at home. The facility all worked perfectly and were easy to use; the property also gave us a manual with instructions for everything.

Unfortunately the door code panel did fail at one point and we ended up being locked out. I understand this is just an electrical problem and do not hold the company accountable at all. They dealt with the issue quickly with great customer service.

The location was perfect. We were close to many of the main sites but far enough that it was pretty quiet. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great, and the little kitchen/wardrobe was stocked well. Overall we all really liked the place!

You must have internet or decent 5G service to get into the building and room. My cell phone had TERRIBLE service the whole time so this was problematic. If you’re not tech savvy, this would be challenging and there isn’t anyone on site to help. You have to call a number which again wasn’t really feasible with my crap cell service. It’s not insurmountable since you will get codes to use but just a pain.

This is a great place. Clean. Modern. Perfect location.

The only negative aspect is that the penthouse is on the 4th floor if you are British and 5th if you count it the American way. So tons of stairs. My elderly parents had a very tough time climbing up the stairs. Also hauling huge suitcases up was dreadful. If you are travelling light and don't have knee injuries and are not an elderly person, this place is fantastic. Otherwise, it may be worth it to get another place. in my case, the stairs really ruined it for my parents.
