Cooked breakfast was always hot normally buffet breakfast tend to be warm or even cold in hotels even in a premier Inn I have stayed in. I was very impressed. Plenty of food available and good choice of cereals. The hotel also took cash at the bar which was great for me. I was happy to pay for my room by card bt for odd things like drinks during my stay I prefer to use cash. The staff all very really welcoming and professional. Well done, Holiday Inn Express this my first stay at your hotel.

The coffee at breakfast wasn't hot enough and I had to top it up with hot water. I found the lighting in the room Ok but not for putting on makeup. It would have been nice to have a mirror by the seating area. These points however are very minor.

We always stay here this time of year. It has carpark next door which is very hand and a reduction in cost due to staying at the hotel. The hotel is far enough from the city centre to be out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk in. The breakfast is exceptional and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

I’m not sure you can do anything better than what you are already doing. We stayed 2 nights so maybe a refreshment of tea and coffee in the room would be nice as the cleaners came in to replace toilet roll and make the bed but didn’t replenish the coffee not a problem tho as the reception gave us some.

The hotel staff is very kind and helpful. There was a small problem with the booking when checking in, but it was solved quickly and efficiently. The hotel is relatively new. The spacious lobby with bar and breakfast area gives a pleasant feeling. The room itself was spacious and comfortable with good and pleasant lighting. Toilet and bathroom can be separated by a door, which I really appreciate. Breakfast, which starts early, was included in the room rate. It is a buffet breakfast with a lot of choice. The hotel offers the option to take food and drinks from the breakfast buffet with you in case you need a lunch box or are in a hurry. My wife was not feeling well on the morning of check-out. The reception allowed a late check-out at no extra charge. The hotel is located in the old docks and industrial district that is currently being redeveloped. That alone makes the area interesting. The district is full of new residential buildings, renovated buildings, offices, cafes, restaurants, a supermarket and the Royal Armory Museum. The location is a bit outside the center, but you can reach the central bus station and the market in 15-18 minutes on foot. Alternatively, you can take the water taxi from very close to the hotel, which connects to the city centre and Leeds train station (operating hours between 10am and 6pm).

Nothing really very serious which would ruin our pleasant stay. There was a large stain on the relatively new sofa. The room cleaning forgot to take away the dirty towels from the ground. At the moment the public bus service is not very efficient in the area.

Location was ideal for last minute stay.

From the moment we stepped in the hotel the staff were very polite and helpful. They were really busy with christmas guests. We ordered food at the bar which was still really fast and delicious. We had an issue with the puddings as we didn't like dates so the staff quickly resolved this (even though it was our fault and we changed our minds) nothing was too much for them even though they were all busy. The room was lovely and clean and the bed was comfortable. If you needed anything extra like towels, coffee or pillows etc then you were free to call the reception to ask for more. I have stayed in plenty of hotels but this one seemed to be alot more friendly than any other I have been to and more accommodating. The shower was really good and the water pressure was spot on. The parking was £8 for 24hours (this is a discount you get through the hotel) so we had time for shopping the following day. The breakfast was really nice and plenty of choice. I cannot complain about a single thing. If this is the standard of service you get when the staff are rushed off their feet at the height of the christmas season then I am looking forward to coming back again throughout the year. Absolutely nothing!!!

I have always used Holiday inn express hotels especially the one at conisborough A1 Doncaster.that is brilliant and staff are top notch.The one in Leeds were very good but some off the non English staff could work on their customer relations .

First time stay in Leeds so I don't know it very well and ask how far the Fist direct Arena was and they tried showing me on a map and told me they have no idea.i should imagine I not the first person to ask about the arena has it has lots of avents on with travels staying there.We went for a coffee the person was grumpy and when we ordered food it was not up to scratch and if i hadn't already paid for it, i would have refused

Midweek rate including breakfast was very competitive. Love this location as it's quiet and interesting, but within easy walking distance to city centre. You can walk along the river into town, or go for a much longer walk into the countryside in the other direction. Parking right next door was discounted so very affordable for centre of Leeds. Room was budget-ish but all we needed for a quick one night stay. Would definately stay again at that price and location.

Better quality tea and coffee in room, and biscuits/snack would have been good. You can buy these at reception, which we did, so not a deal breaker!

Everything. staff couldn't have done more. There were several of us staying there as we were at a conference at the Royal Armouries Museum. I didn't hear a complaint other than one lift out of order, see below

One of the two lifts was out of use the whole time which was highly inconvenient at times especially as the staff had to use the one list to do their work! Nothing else in the hotel but the surrounding area has little choice of restaurants or bars / entertainment etc. SEPARATELY Very disappointed by the nearby Canary bar as a venue for a very high profile buffet lunch. Will be taking this up officially with the management of the venue.

Lovely staff. Superb shower. Tea and coffee in room and a lovely little message in the bathroom giving a list of things you could ask reception for if you happen to have forgotten them, like toothpaste and sanitary towels. I tend to avoid big chains for various reasons but this was surprisingly good. Great choice for breakfast, awesome location and very good value for money.

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and when it is out there is just a tiny gap that you have to squeeze through to get to the bathroom or out of the room. It was quite warm in the room, we tried to turn the temperature down but I'm not sure that it did very much.

We had to be moved to another room, and the staff adjusted everything to our liking as the room we had booked wasn't suitable for wheelchair and two kids, so they arranged this, which was great. The whole family liked the staff as they were extremely helpful, polite and supportive.which made the stay very nice and enjoyable. My kids enjoyed the bed as it was very comfortable. The breakfast was really nice and my family enjoyed it. Even though they didn't have a big fruit range, it was still very nice to have breakfast in the morning when you woke up. All the concerns were dealt with immediately. Overall, it was amazing. Really enjoyed visiting the Royal armouries. Fun day and lots of other café and bars close bye. Great water scenery to enjoy when you walk around.

The cook. He was very rude and abruptly spoke to me. So we did have to complain to the manager.
