Breakfast was lovely, and pre-payment made check in far simpler. The staff were friendly, and the facilities were spotless.

Nothing to dislike. It all depends on your expectations. This was a very well presented hotel, in a good location, within easy walking distance of public transport. There was nothing to dislike.

Checkin was really easy and when I mentioned I would leave before breakfast I was immediately offered a breakfast tray to be brought to my room that evening, which was most appreciated. the room was small but very well appointed with a lovely outlook. whilst there was not an ensuite, I had a key to my own toilet and bathroom just across the hallway. The single bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The hotel had a welcoming feel with a nice looking breakfast room. It worked well for one night as part of a work trip. I chose it for proximity to King's Cross as I had an early train, it was ideal for that as well as walkable into the West End. would consider staying again.

Nothing as such, for the price and overall experience it was a positive stay.

Location for 3 reasons: (1) the proximity to the Eurostar-King's Cross stations and to Russell Square station (tube) (2) the quiet-safe neighborhood (such a nice break from the hustle-bustle of the city center), just in front of a pleasant public garden (3) the proximity to the city center by directly Piccadilly Line. The neighborhood has a good mix: people from the neighborhood, offices, and the university, which gives travelers a glimpse of London's daily life. This is a small hotel with THE efficiency of the staffs. Impressive work, especially during the busy breakfast time. Bravo! Everything was great: the cleanness of the room, bathroom, and hotel AND the staffs' resourcefulness. The high ceiling room was a bonus, which did not give us a crammed feeling at all, in spite of the room size (not obvious from the Booking photos). A high ceiling room usually gives you a spacious effect; it is an intangible aspect, but surely it made a difference. What a pleasure to come back to a spacious room after spending all day walking. On our way to the tube station (Russel SQ) from the hotel, there are small cafes, restaurants, pubs, and mini grocery stores; there are "Pret a Manger" and TESCO (24h open) just in front of the tube station. Very convenient. With this hotel, you are in good hands. NO doubt to book this hotel again when we come back to London! : )

NONE!

The hotel is on a quiet road so no noises to keep me awake. The room was very clean and well appointed with towels, soap, water, tea and coffee. There were limited electrical sockets available near the desk but I had brought an extension lead so I was able to work in my room on a comfortable chair. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and everything worked except the shower head in Room 23 was floppy and wouldn 't stay upright on its own which spolied the shower.

A lift would help because I had two heavy bags to take up to the second floor. A room safe would help because I had to take my laptop and other valuables out with me in the evenings.

Location was excellent as we were attending a show at The Place. Staff were very good both at check in, answering questions and at breakfast.

The room was unbearably hot on arrival so even tho it was december we have to turn heating off. Also some light bulbs were not working. We did have to wait a long time to be seated at breakfast as it was a peak time at weekend although the staff were rushed of their feet ie doing all they could. They allowed breakfast hours to extend to enable us and people after us to have food as we were there in plenty of time and the delay was not our fault. Sadly they had run out of a number of breakfast items which was a shame.

Booking a small, budget hotel near a railway station in London can be a lottery - many turn out to be grotty, dirty, smelly and unwelcoming. As I arrived, my heart sunk, as I realised that I had spent a very uncomfortable night in a hotel in this location - it may have even been this hotel - many years ago. However, my low expectations were confounded: I got a warm and efficient welcome, the hotel was nicely and recently decorated, the room was small but well equipped, warm and comfortable, and there was a kettle and supplies as well as a large TV with a variety of services. I had to leave before breakfast to catch an early train but it was no more than 10 minutes walk to St Pancras International Station. I would happily stay here again.

Nothing to moan about. Of course, it would be nice to have an en-suite bathroom but I got what I paid for.

A small, pleasant boutique hotel. The breakfast was excellent, offering a choice of continental breakfast basic, with the option to order various egg dishes and English breakfast. The staff were kind and helpful. We didn’t spend much time at the hotel, as we were traveling around the city.

The issue was with the shower water. It was impossible to set a comfortable water temperature, as it was too hot. The staff tried to resolve it, but I believe it’s a design flaw and something that seems to be more common in London.

Situated in a quiet location, overlooking tennis courts and an open space. Had room facility to have an extra bed in the room for my daughter. Everything was clean and windows that opened and a fan in the room. We stayed on the hottest day of the year and had a comfortable nights sleep.. it was lovely. A short walk from the transport network.

A bit of noise from the person stomping about in the room above but you can expect that in all hotels.. not all guests are considerate to others.

I love this hotel. The facilities are beautiful, modern, very clean, and comfortable. The room is excellent! I really appreciated the friendly staff. I had a little issue in the room, but they promptly attended to our requirements. Thank you so much!!

I like everything. The price is fair because this is a nice hotel. I highly recommend it. I am 63 years old and traveling with my son. We were tired and stayed in the hotel because it is the one with the best location near Terminal 5. The hotel is 4 or 5 stars, and the price is right for the quality of the hotel. I never write about hotels, but this one deserves this. Everything was perfect!!

Great location - in a row of hotels facing a park with a tennis court, with the British Museum and convenient stores nearby, felt safe walking back alone from Soho at night. Excellent full breakfast with lots of options to choose from. Friendly and efficient staff. Firm bed, sink and mirror in the room. Good value for money considering it's in the heart of London

Facilities fairly old, no elevator, floor in my room is tilted at an angle which took a bit of getting used to. There is a sink in the room and none in the private bathroom. A bit of street noise so had to shut the windows at night (also someone had an early-morning tennis lesson!)
