Rooms were big, furniture looked nice and location was great in the heart of everything. Had extras like fan, iron and ironing board. Friendly, helpful staff on reception.

100 pound damage deposit. Lots of little stains and scuffs on carpets and walls doors and furniture, felt we had to note them all at the start of our holiday to ensure we didn’t get blamed for them and lose our deposit. The stains didn’t change the fact the rooms were still nice and clean in general.

Pretty much everything. Location was great, apartment was a very good size and the facilities were everything we needed for a short stay. Staff were also very helpful.

The sofa looked a little tired and dirty. Probably better off using leather style like the armchairs so it's easier to keep clean. Although we managed to get a space, parking can be a bit of a lottery

I really liked the location as it was so close to the city centre and it was opposite the train station. The room was small but perfectly formed, and contained everything we needed (as well as being very comfortable). Breakfast was great too.

The only thing I disliked was that, when I first arrived, I noticed that there was a small makeup/fake tan stain on one of the hand towels; it seemed like the towel had been washed/cleaned but the stain just hadn't gone away in the wash.

Very efficient check-in. Friendly, welcoming. As a constructive comment the steak in the restaurant was superb, but the prawn cocktail at £9.50 was sorely lacking. Prawns, tasteless sauce and served only with gem lettuce and an after thought of 3 brown bread triangles, no butter. Room was nicely appointed

The room was freezing cold., couldn't adjust heating in bathroom. The bedroom was at its highest setting, but not hot. Made sleeping even uncomfortable and I don't like a warm room to sleep in. The breakfast was disappointing. It's very cramped and tables next to coffee station makes it pretty ridiculous. Advice is to move this table at breakfast. Not sure I need to tell either kitchen or waiting staff, but the hot holding trays are completely impractical. Sure everyone knows it, but Hotel has done nothing to improve it. You have to lift of the tray lids and self serve. There is no space. Need to replace with trays that open on hinges. For all it would cost. It leads to the breakfast choices also being cold. I've scored at 8/10 and I think and hope constructive and fair.

Very comfortable bed. A very friendly porter attentive to disability needs. The junior suite room was lovely, spacious, and comfortable.

Disabled access bell at the front entrance was broken, and staff kept referring to it as a Bell for guests who arrive late at night. Access was through the hotel car park but not labelled/ signposted. At night, you need to contact the reception staff to open the gate to get back in. Some reception staff were not great at giving important / relevant information.

The staff were great, Lynn was very helpful and friendly. Our apartment was facing in, so heard no outside noise even on a Saturday night. Location couldn't have been better, easy walk to station, shopping and Quay area and also walking distance to O2 Arena was only about 10 to 15 mins. Perfect for our stay as we were there to see Squeeze. 24/7 reception felt secure and they also had luggage storage if too early to check in. Had tea and coffee maker, we bought our own fresh milk just up the road. Also dishwasher tabs were left for guest use - handy. Really pleased with our stay. Hope we left everything spotless and would stop again, if in Newcastle, it was great value for a city weekend.

Only two small things to mention...... Kitchen was well equipped and had most things we needed, except a wine/bottle opener - very minor thing though and I'm sure if we'd have asked they would have gave us one. 😄 If being picky, it could do with a lamp in lounge and shower was okay, but not great pressure (which appreciate can't be helped sometimes with old city buildings) - but in no way did this affect our stay - so for feedback only.

Outstanding! The apartment has a reception desk that is staffed. The location is less than a five minute walk from the main train station. Upon exiting the main train station you will see the County Hotel. The County Aparthotel is just around the corner and a very short walk up a slightly sloping street. It was easy to find. You will see the King of Desserts lighted sign as you walk. The King of Desserts is directly across the corner to the County Aparthotel or your will see the NX Newcastle Lighted Building also directly across from the Aparthotel. The location felt safe and was close to the main high street shops and a Wetherspoons was right around the corner. The actual apartment was clean and very modern with nice updated decor. The bedrooms were very large. The bathrooms were modern. The entire space was clean. I will stay here again when I am return to Newcastle in the Summer.

No where to eat a meal within the apartment. There was one counter stool and no dining table.

The position is excellent everywhere easily walkable and near the station. The beds were very comfortable, the apartment well laid out, beautifully clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, particularly Emma, when we arrived our apartment only had a shower not a bath and shower, we were moved immediately into into another apartment. I would highly recommend County Aparthotel, this was my second visit , I am returning in October for a third stay .

The sofa very worn and not comfortable, a proper dining table would have been appreciated, plenty of space for one, as there are facilities for cooking, a place to eat at is necessary. Also, no toaster and no instructions for cooker, dishwasher etc, instructions for the hob would have been useful. The apartments are situation directly above busy traffic, it's very noisy this is not a problem for me personally , but in summer when windows need to be open it may bother some guests.
